The new firefox won't allow me to auto sign in even to sites I'm approved

I HATE the new Firefox. It keeps making me "allow" moving to different sites, even when it's within a site. Also, even though I have allowed certain sites (e.g., APA.org) it will not allow me to automatically reload or sign in. This is totally frustrating b/c it means I cannot even manually enter my password and sign in. I NEED this site for my business and Firefox is preventing me from totally normal use.

Try:
iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
Next, try doing a manual install/update using the instructions here:

Don't you stupid people get it? People that like their google tool bar can't have it with the new firefox 5 Just fix that and then maybe Ill stop getting pop ups asking me to change it to 5 where it won't let me have my google toolbar. Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox beyond Firefox 4. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.

  • The new Firefox won't download on my Mac OS 10.5.8; when I downloaded it, there was a circle with a line thru it on top of the Firefox icon.

When I go to the Firefox website it says that unfortunately the latest version of Firefox is not compatible with my computer's operating system. How can I get an older compatible version?

    * Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
    * Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
    * Install the new version that you have downloaded.

Made sure everything is allowed for the game to load. It worked BEFORE I upgraded to the Firefox 8.0. Now it doesn't load completely for game play.

  • The new iphoto won't allow 2 up or 4 up printing

The previous version of iphoto was able to do this.  This provided the best utilization of 8.5x11 photo paper.  By reversing the paper after printing one photo I can get a 2nd photo.  Better than just one 4x6 per sheet but not as good as 4 photos.
Is this a feature or a bug?

    Do the following:
1 - put the photo in an album and duplicate it as many times as the number of prints you want on a given page. This is assuming the page is US Letter (borderless).
2 - select all the prints and type Command+P (Print).
3 - in the next window select Paper Size to be US Letter (borderless).
4 - also, at the bottom of the window, select the aspect ratio and a custom size that will allow you to get all of the photos on one page.
This screenshot is for a photo that has a size ratio of 4:3, was duplicated 3 times and then printed with a custom size of 4x3 selected to get four prints on the page. You can experiment the custom size until you get the largest possible size for the 4 photos on the page.
When you're done you can delete the duplicates.

  • I do NOT like the new Firefox. I do alot of work back and forth with pages, with this new system it slows me down. How can I restore my older version

I work on Bay listing items, I have to go back and forth on sites. The new firefox dosn`t allow this. It has back arrows, but pop up asking request are very annoying, and take much more time, The older version would allow me to drop down to the previous pages..I want my old version back. This new version has a whole lotta extra unneeded crap that just takes L O N G E R to load.. It sucks..How can I restore the older version

  • I downloaded the new Firefox but it constantly freezes, doing absolutely nothing, and I can't even close it from my Mac dock bar, I have to turn off my laptop using the power button as Firefox won't let me shut down. What can I do?

    Hi
I recently downloaded the new Firefox (Firefox 4, I think - you can tell I'm very tech savvy!) and it constantly freezes, I can't do anything with it at all - I can't even close it from the icon in my Mac dock bar.
I have tried restarting my computer - though I have to turn it off by using the power button as as Firefox is open and totally unresponsive it won't let me shut down. About a minute after re-starting Firefox, restoring my tabs or starting afresh, it freezes again.
This is obviously very annoying and I'm not sure what I can do about it. Firefox is my preferred browser, and I'd really like to be able to use it again!

This is not a reply. I just want to elaborate on this problem.
My computer freezes occasionally when it is used after being sleep for a while. The spinning ball appears and everything is totally disabled. Nothing on the keyboard works.
The mouse moves, but does not work.
The only solution is to turn the power off and on (losing all data in open applications.)
I kept the System monitor running on the side to find out which program was running when the computer froze. The Monitor as well as all other applications froze, but the data showed:
    Firefox 18.4%
    Activity Monitor 0.9%
    Firefox Plugin 0.2%
This is all the information I have. By the way, I am using iMac with OS 10.6.

  • New Firefox does not allow me to add attitional bookmarks. I can delete but I cannot add a new site or sites. Do you have an instant fix for the problem?

I have xp and have always been able to use bookmarks. The new Firefox allows me to go to a site with bookmarks, delete bookmarks, but I cannot add a bookmark by clicking on the star.
Also, Ebay's pages have smaller print (and pictures) than they should have - Google has the correct print and picture size. There is something wrong with Firefox.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Where can I get a download for an earlier version of firefox the new version won't run on my computer

I downloaded version 4 and replaced the old files. The new version won;t run because my Mac dose not have an Intell prossesor. I uninstalled the new version and I cant find the old version to download.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

  • I just upgraded to firefox 6 and now cannot connect to the internet. IE still works fine but firefox won't connect. Any suggestions on how to get the new firefox to connect to the internet?

I just upgraded to ff 6.0.1 via an automatic push. Since then, ff hasnt been able to connect to the internet. Error message:
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.
IE has no trouble connecting to the internet.

After upgrading, your firewall may not be recognizing the new Firefox version and is not allowing it access to the internet. On your firewall progam's allowed applications list, remove Firefox, then re-start Firefox, try going to a website, your firewall will detect the new version of Firefox, then give the permissions needed for Firefox to have internet access.

  • I have a really old iMac and it won't let me download the new firefox but I still have the old one which works so does that mean that they removed the old iMac from the new firefox?????

    The new firefox dosn't

  • I tried to load the new firefox, it won't load onto my computer (mac osx) but it also erased the old firefox. Help!

A window came up saying I needed the new firefox. When I tried to load it the window said I couldn't but to click for the most updated firefox. A dmg loaded, asked if I wanted to replace the old firefox, which I assumed I did. Now I have no firefox at all and can't get back to the older version that was working.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • The new Firefox version disabled one of my toolbars and I want the older version of firefox that allows me to use that toolbar. How do I get it back?

I have the Norton toolbar and it got disabled once I downloaded the new firefox version. I would like the version I had before. I believe it was 3.6 or something like that.

  • Does anyone else find that the new firefox 4 sucks? How do I get back the old one?

I upgraded to the new firefox 4 and I HATE it... I tried to uninstall it, and lost all my bookmark tabs, and then I tried to install the old firefox but couldn't, it only allows me to use the new one, which is also slowing down my laptop big time! Has this happened to anyone else?

I've not had any problems with Firefox 4 being slower, but I've never been so disappointed with a program in years. I went back to 3.6.16 and it's much more stable. I'm an attorney and use the Bankruptcy Court websites daily--literally, hourly--and 4 crashes on them repeatedly, will not download mailing matrices, will not print claims registers, or literally do ANYTHING as well as 3.6 did. If a browser won't do that, then it's worthless to me. We HAVE to have stable programs, and everything now in the Federal courts nationwide has to be electronic filing. I've tried all the tricks I know (and I've been a computer user and builder ever since Win 3.1) and nothing saved it. I finally uninstalled 4, did NOT offload my user profiles, and they all picked up again on 3.6.16. I don't plan on going back to 4--ever.

  • How can i restore the ui and speed of 3.6 to the newer firefox

I have attempted to update firefox to newer versions when they come out however since the revamp on the UI all of the "Upgrades" have felt more like downgrades and i end up going back to 3.6. I guess my question is is it possible to add the newer web implementations (I.E. html5 support etc.) into te older package. i have seen the posts on makeing the new firefoxes look like the old one. they still dont look right. but even more inportantly they dont run right. the majority of my addons are not compatable and the "newer" browsers feel very slow in comparison

    '''Greetings Brian.M.Kochera'''
There's an add-on called FEBE, and it allows you to export pretty much anything that Firefox offers (including add-ons) into installable .xpi files.
So, basically, you can take the extensions range and export them into another Firefox profile.
    ''[[FEBE Add-on|https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/febe/]]''
