The new iMovie wont let me share my videos, is any one having this problem?

I'm done with my video project, I'm trying to share (export) my video onto my desktop but its not letting me. When I go and click on the share button it does nothing and shows nothing. I just got done upgrading to the new iMovie about a month ago and I’m running on Mavericks. Tell me I’m not the only one who is having this problem.

You certainly are not the only one with that problem... I called the support people and it took over two hours to figure out what was wrong... I ended up having to delete MacKeeper which I have used for years.... I guess it over writes a couple of files needed by the Share Function... They also had me delete iMovie and reload it... I am not a tech person so I would not be able to tell what libraries and the several files we deleted after rebooting and coming up in a safe mode. But the share function works normally now... I still have problems with some function buttons in Safari... I guess that will be another call...

I am getting the same problem. Downloaded Maverick and the new iMovie 10.0.1 and It will only upload 10 minutes of a 65 minute video then I get the rendering error 50 each time tried to export to desktop, to thumbdrive, to youtube. No luck. any suggestions Apple?

Looks like folks have been having this problem for months & months .. The Apple tech told me that all I could do is wait for Apple to come up with a fix... Got a new router this week so that isnt' it. Would I be better off w/o this until Apple gets their act together? I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Can't stay on the internet... but will sell you another one today! I'm getting mad... It's not every day we spend that kind of money on a computer . & ALL they can give us is that LOUSY Lion combo update. I can't even stay connected long enough to make a vitamin order with Puritan's Pride... & then the disconnection wipes out my cart... so I have to start over. When are they going to fix this! It takes two to tango, maybe it's your recipient that has weak Internet/Cellular connections.

Try rebooting the computer and restarting the device.
Try a different cable.
In rare cases fluff in the connector port can prevent proper contact with the connectors used to transfer data. An air duster or thin piece of card or plastic can be used to tease out debris if that is the problem.

Spread Sheet Couldn't be Imported, Spread Sheet couldn't be opened because it contains cells outside the boundaries of numbers. Has any one had this problem? It is an excel file that works fine on my mac.

When I try to import an excell file to numbers on my ipad i get an error message that says it cannot import the file or open the file because it contains cells outside the boundry of numbers. Any one have this problem. it is only one file that i have this problem with and it is an important one. I have no problem working on it with my mac and my excell for mac.

Number is limited to about 65000 cells so if your Excell spreadsheet is too large Numbers will choke. This is definitely one of the weaknesses. If you don't have Excel you can use LibreOffice which is free.

Sort of. As part of the next update we'll make Muse ignore the 125% scale setting. This will make it easier for you to use that setting with all your other applications, but even when your Display is set to scale 125% the Muse UI will be presented at 100%. Unfortunately the current transition architecture of Muse (part native 64-bit app and part Adobe AIR app internally) combined with how Windows 8 and 8.1 achieve 125% scaling means it will be quite some time before Muse will be able to correctly support 125% Display scaling. You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

Don't hold it like that. You're creating an 'echo chamber' due to the position of your hand/neck/face. It's not a technical issue. I hear this when I talk to my wife and she cradles the phone against her shoulder.

Poor GPS reception in IPhone 3GS, am I the only one having this problem ?

Since I have many problems with GPS drop outs and poor signal strength errors when using navigation software for Iphone 3GS firmware 4.0.2.
First I reset my Iphone completely and installed all apps from scratch, but this has not solved my problem.
I now tried several tests to compare with both an Android phone HTC Desire and a very old Symbian phone Nokia E65. Neither the Nokia E65 or HTC Desire have any drop outs in the GPS reception while my Iphone has several dropouts, making navigation horrible.
Am I the only one having this problem ?

Unfortunately, you are not the only one (I personally use TomTom with car kit). This is one of the numerous bugs introduced by iOS4 and this one has been reported by many in this forum. Be careful not to use your iPhone based navigation system in a foreign country, due to high roaming costs ! I had to use it and nearly had an heart attack when reading the invoice.
Apple doesn't care. Unfortunately, I have to care for my budget.

My iphone 4s voice dictiation for text messages is not consistently working. I've had the phone since Thanksgiving and it always worked perfectly, but the last few weeks it's been hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this problem? I tried the hard reset but that hasn't fixed it.

I have the same problem since updating to IOS 8.3. Any app to which I want to send a new link via IMessage does not allow me to select a contact to send the IMessage to. Using a pre-existing thread does not have same problem.

Similar problem running a 27" iMac only it occurs in Excel and inDesign. Hit the cell with the curser and the worksheet moves over to the right 7 or 8 cells away. Have to curser back to the cell quite frequently. This issue make the machine unusable when working with those two aps. Today I did the ultimate and completely reloaded Yosemite and the problem is still there.
