The new window command in FF 3.6.13 takes a full 60 seconds or longer to respond. How do I correct this?

This problem wasn't immediate. It started after a few days after installation of FF 3.6

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply set each device to only use a single telephone number (settings > messages > send & receive, but this isn't really an ideal solution since the other person can always change their settings and see your messages and send messages that appear as if they are from you. There is only one real solution and that's to have your own accounts.

You each need to have separate Apple IDs and separate user accounts. Better yet, separate computers as well.

See if you have most of the songs with 'Exclamation' symbol precede the name under your music library.
If so, double click a song with ! mark on side, you will be given an option to locate the file where the song is held. Select "locate" and direct it to your External Drive folder / file where the song is and open it.
iTunes then will give you the option to use this process to update all of your library. OK that as this will fix all automatically instead of doing them one by one.

My music library includes a number of repeat album artwork images simply because not all tracks are being listed under the one album making my library more difficult to use than it should. When I do a search, with MSN as my homepage, it pops up in a new window not a tab like it used to. MSN says it is Firefox related. How do I fix this? I have the option selected to open new windows in tabs instead and it still won't work.

I use Firefox 4.0.1 and have MSN set as my homepage. Recently, even with the option set to make windows open in tabs instead, if I do searches on the MSN page, the results pop up in a new window. I contacted MSN and they said it is something to do with Firefox. That's strange. It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is changing your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal? Also have you tried uninstalling & re-installing flash? If you need help un-installing Flash see http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html. You also could try safe mode. Are you both using the same Apple ID?
Also check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > make sure it only contains your unique phone number and e-mail address de-select those entries belonging to your husband.
Do the same on his phone (de-select yours)

Sometimes there's a hiccup in the router and resetting the router like diavonex staes will solve the problem.
Sometimes though, the website you are trying to visit has an internal problem with its server. In that case you can only wait until they fox it.
If other websites load properly and only one is having a problem then most likely the problem lies in the web server of the site you are trying to visit.

Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.

When I open a new windox in Firefox 3.6.10 on Windows XP, it opens not only a new window, but all my existing tabs reopen in the new window too--how do I fix this?

Whenever I open a new window in Firefox, it not only opens a new window with a new tab, it also opens all my existing tabs a second time in the new window. This has been happening for several days. Closing Firefox and rebooting doesn't solve the problem.
A related problem is that if I close all tabs and close Firefox, then reboot and re-open Firefox, all the tabs that were closed re-open too.
This is new behavior in Firefox in my experience.

Firefox opens the home pages in a new window, so if you want to open a new window blank then you need to set the home page to about:blank
You can check the startup setting: 
Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" | "Show a blank page"

When I click on the 'New Window' button, it opens a new window than immediately goes back to the original window. I want the new window to remain displayed until I choose to go back to the original window.

Sounds that you've clicked the Rest button and have created a new profile.
Note that "Reset" creates a new default profile with a time stamp appended to identify it and tries to recover settings like bookmarks and history and passwords and cookies and auto-fill data from the old profile, but you lose data like extensions and other customizations.

Firefox 15+ versions will move the old profile folder to an "Old Firefox Data-##" folder on the Desktop that gets a number appended if you use reset more than once.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
