The newest version of 10.5 will not load.

I keep getting this pop up when I get through most of the installation of 10.5."There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact support personnel or package vendor." I have deleted access internet and run MSconfig with no success. Other suggestions?

That was probably caused by your Firewall blocking the newly installed version of Firefox.
No known security issues with Firefox 3.6.17, which was just released this past week.

When i try to download the newest version of adobe it will not down load and i do not get a dropdown screen telling me that firefox did not ask me to download adobe and there is no allow tab either

it does this after i get a message that firefox is downloading a upgrade after that happens firefox tells me i need to download the newest version of adobe

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded

Newest version of BB Link will not load

I just installed the newest version of BB Link (1.2.3.48). It installed perfectly. When I try to run it, it crashed while loading. I have uninstalled it, rebooted, re-installed it...still same problem. Uninstalled it, rebooted, re-installed and turned off my anti-virus prog. Installed perfectly again, crashed again as it loads.
It is being installed on Windows 7 OS.
Any thoughts on how to remedy? Do you know where I can get a previous version of BB Link?

How can I revert from Firefox 4.0 to the previous version? 4.0 will not load TextAloud.

apple Device Support, Apple Auto update, Itunes etc from your pc,
Reboot it
Now download a fresh itunes from apple and try installing
Reboot it
If you are having Problem in uninstalling any of the apple application
try 'revo uninstaller' and uninstall all the apple applications

The trial version of Photoshop CS6 will not activate

The trial version of Photoshop CS6 will not activate and gives the message that I do not have Internet connection, yet I do but it is hardwired via university LAN. My IT person cannot find a fix for it either. I obviously have internet connection since I am sending this question via the same PC.

What exactly are you trying to do? Trials require no serial, but full versions do. Are you trying to activate a trial to convert it to a licensed version?

After loading the latest Aperture 3 update, aperture will not load and it appears to have corrupted 10.6. 10.6.7 now appears to be missing from the computer and my administrator status has changed to standard.

Update Software says I need to do update to 10.6.7 which I can't do because administrator privileges are gone. I didn't back-up with Time Machine ,BAD, but I have all files backed-up on another hard drive. Should I just reformat and start over? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

PROBLEM SOLVED! For me at least!
Apple Support gave me the clue - I had run Migration Assistant, and it had obligingly replaced a system file (/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager) with the equivalent from my old system.
I reinstalled 10.6.7 using the DVD supplied and all is well.
The moral is - don't use Migration Assistant.
Along the way Apple Support provided me with a link to download Combo update 10.6.7: this could not be installed on my iMac.
