The note ap that came on my iPad mini is not working?
After the 7.0.3 update the note-Ap stopped working. It opens, but immediately crashes. Please advise....
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

The youTube App is gone because Apple's license to use it has expired.
YouTube is still accessible on the iPad via Safari (or any other browser) at http://m.youtube.com/
Sign in at this site and your favorites, etc. will still be present. Save the site icon to the iPad Home screen and you will have a replacement for the youTube App.
There is also an iPhone youTube App in the App Store which works on the iPad as well as the Jasmine App. -
The HDMI adapter that came with New mac mini, would fit on the connection coming from my old mini. My monitor has receptor same as the end of the adapter.
I found out that I have 2 female ends, my question is where can I find the adapter with 2 male connectors? and what about power supply to monitor?

I lost my orignal charger and my newly purchased charger from Apple reseller won't charge. I don't know if its the charger,it did give me a hard time on the last charge; which is the second time I had used it.

Why is the rear-facing camera of my iPad mini not working?
The backward facing camera on my iPad mini has stopped working recently after having it for a bit over a year, i.e. when I go into the camera application the screen freezes when trying to take photos with the rear-facing camera. Any ideas what this is due to, and possible options of how to fix it?

Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

I have a pioneer 50 inch plasma + I purchased new from the company back in 2005. I tried to hook up an Apple Tv to the pioneer receiver that came with the TV. I can not get it to work.
The receiver has two HDMI inputs in the back. However they say they are not for PC's. Furthermore they must be set up by going to the home menu. I tried everything, but I can not get the receiver to talk to the Apple TV. I even tried a connector that uses an HDMI to the Apple TV that has the other side of the cable as 5 RCA cables. I could not get the receiver to see the Apple TV. I have a newer TV in the house, it has no problem talking with the Apple TV. But this older system seems to be handicapped in its ability to talk with the newer Apple TV system.

BobI could not access the Apple TV on the television. If I put the Apple TV directly into by TV, I have an external sound system (entertainment system), therefore I worry that I would by pass the audio.

The Calendar app that came on my i4S Phone does not sync the correct time for items posted on my Yahoo Calendar. Actually, items post exactly 4 hours earlier than the correct time on my Yahoo Calendar. My i4S is in the correct New York time zone. Help?
I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work. So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

when i plug my phone into the usb port with the apple charger that came with my phone i get an error msg say charging not supported by this device. But when i use a gigaware (radioshack brand) usb charger, no error msg. Why?
- Try restoring the iPod, first from backup and then try to factory settings/new iPod to rule out a software problem.
- Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and broken or cracked plastic.
- Could you have damaged something when you took the iPod apart and replaced the Home button? -
The Cyberlink program that came with my hp2000-2b20CA computer does not seem to have any volume.
I have tried everything I could think of but the only thing that works when trying to play a DVD is plug into my tv and use that volume. I really don't want to do that as it should work using the computer. I believe the volume works fine on the computer as I have used it. I just does not work when using the cyberlink program that came with the computer to play a DVD.

I want to install a new hard drive on my 2008 MacBook but do not have the instillation discs that came with my computer. Can I use instillation discs from a 2009 or 2010 MacBook? The hard drive I am planning to install is a WD Scorpio Black 500GB SATA 2.5'' internal hard drive.
Sometimes they do work - i've done it before. I have a late 2008 Macbook Uni and used the install dvd of my 2009 Macbook White and it worked.
Why not just clone your hard drive? It'll save you a lot of time doing a clone rather than doing a clean install.
Unless you're having issues with your old set up or your old hard drive is dead.
You can download Carbon Copy Cloner - install your new hard drive in a external usb enclosure (around $10) and clone fromt here then test it before you install it in your Macbook.
Once you've done the swap, you can install your old hard drive in the USB enclosure and use it as a backup drive.

I just got a new ipod 5 and when I plugged in the charging cord that came with it, it says it is not supported, and may not charge. It worked the first few times, but now it won't charge at all.

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. The cable as well as the iPod, is covered by the warranty.
