We are on Oracle apps version - 11.5.10.2
We have a requirement wherein we need to send the concurrent program output file as an attachment while sending the notification mail to the user.
Currently we have tried the approach wherein we are specifying the user id in the OPTIONS tab (Notifying the following people) while submitting the concurrent program.
But using this approach, the user gets only the URL of the output file in the notification mail and not the output file as an attachment.
Kindly let us know if anyone has incorporated the logic to send the output file as attachment in the notification mail.
Please Note - We do not want any custom code to be written to send the attachment.
Any pointers to this will be helpful.

Notification mailer is not able to send mails to Outside domain i.e gmail

We are in 12.1.3 EBS application with 11.1.0.7 DB on Aix 64 bit platform:
resently we configured notification mailer with out any issues
But the issue is notifications are delivered to with in the domain itself but not to outside the domain i.e gmail and yahoo
SMTP server host name is owa.craftsmanautomation.com the same we used to configure the Notification mailer
Even we verified from os level using telnet utility as follows:

In the above command in place of FROM and TO mail-id's if we use any personal mail-id's getting error message as "Unable to Relay".Please suggest is there any changes we need to done at SMTP server Level or OS level or Application Level.

Notification mails are not sent using RSWUWFMLEC

Hi Experts,
We are using SRM 4.0 and we have an issue with Notification mails,
The report RSWUWFML2 for sending notification mail to outlook for work item,which we have been using .
We have recently started using the report RSWUWFMLEC for sending the offline approval mails to users who have the attribute Forward_WI.
We have given privelage only to few of the users to approve through offline.
So, the report RSWUWFMLEC sends them the offline approval mail.
We also have the report RSWUWFML2 which needs to send the notification mail to all the users, irrespective of the Forward_WI attribute.
As we are using both the reports simultaneously we are facing the problem.
Can you suggest a way so that we can send approval mails to the users who have attribute u201CForward_WIu201D checked and notification mails to all users by using report : RSWUWFMLEC

Using both RSWUWFML2 and RSWUWFMLEC reports, just give a different job suffix (selection text P_JOBSUF ) using a variant for each report: by default, it is '2' for both.
In this way, in SWU_WLSCAN table, you will have one entry for each report (field CURR_NUMB ). So, last date and time for report execution will not be the same for both reports, which cause behavior you described.

How to add a new field to the notification mail

We want to add the description of the GOA to the notification mail. Currently when an approval is required the following mail is sent:
#CONTRACT.VERSIONTYPENAME# no.#CONTRACT.OBJECT_ID# was designated for release by employee#CONTRACT.CHANGEDBY#.

So there is only the document number, document type and last changed by information in the notification mail. How can we add the description of the document?
We have checked the related container and could not find the description of the document.

Hello Emre,
the mail is generated by report RSWUWFMLEC. You have to modify this report to change the mail text.
An easier way might be to change the subject of the mail which is generated from the workflow task. You can enter the description of the GOA in the workitem text of you active workflow (WS14000088, task TS14007969?).

E-Mailed PO Notifications from the Notification Mailer rejected by Vendor

Greetings All! We have an issue where some of our vendors have spam filters that are rejecting the E-Mailed POs coming from the PO approval WF process. We are currently on R12 and wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what was done to get around the issue. The notification mailer is sending the messages out but our internal Unix domain (where the EBS resides) is buried in the e-mail header and the Vendor's spam filter rejects the message as it believes the mail is spam.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I've checked those notes and they do not apply. The Notification Mailer itself is working properly and is sending e-mails to the vendors. The problem is that the R12 Java SMTP program doesn't allow us the control we had with the concurrent program in 11i. In 11i we could include Sendmail line commands in the wfmail.cfg file that allowed us to spoof the "From" address so that it appeared the mail came from our external corporate domain. In R12, we don't have access to that since the Java notiifcation mailer uses basic SMTP and the "From" parameter just changes the human-friendly name for the e-mail withoug changing the actual from address. As such the mail headers for the e-mails have our internal unix domain which isn;t valid outside of our firewall. We have done some work with a Unix alias that solves the problem for a couple of the vendors but there are still vendors rejecting our e-mails if they come from the Unix box.The bounce messagess provided to me by our network team clearly show that it is a spam filter rejection due to an invalid domain. I'm looking to see if any other companies have hot this problem and what they may have done to get around it.

he forwarded his workitem to another user.
The other user is receiving notification mails but not workitem.

Goto t-code SCOT; double-click SMTP and specify the mail-host and mail-port for the respective mail server.
Make the ‘Node in use’ check box as checked.
Click on the ‘Internet->set’ button under ‘Supported address types’ to specify the email-address of the recipient
Specify the email-address of the recipient who is going to receive the alert mails.
Specify ‘*’ in case of multiple email-ids.
Goto Menu->Settings->Default Domain and specify the domain id of the company.
Save the settings done in SCOT.
Next you need to define the Alert rools.

Try using Firefox. Flash usually works on Firefox when it won't on Safari. I noticed that the Safari does not show the same version as Firefox does. Iwonder if that could be the problem. Safari on the left shows 10.1, Firefox show 10.3

You can use a download instead of the disk as an alternative: Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe you can license with your serial
Please test the disk in another windows machine to check if it's caused by the drive or the disk. If you tested with 2 drives please start a support case, i assume Adobe will only provide downloads at this point. They are the same as the trials. If you still need a disk you can burn the trial to a disk as a backup disk. Good luck!

1. Click Start, type Services.msc in the Start Search box.
2. Scroll down the list of services, right-click Windows Audio
and select Start.
3. Select Properties for Windows Audio and set its Startup Type
to Automatic.
If the Windows Audio service does not start and you still get the error

I have installed oracle database 10g and developer suite 10g on my Windows OS
the database is connected to developer
but when running the form an error getted that said:-

The http listener is not running in domain-name on port 8889 . please start the listener or check your runtime preferences.

Normally it should show as 8889, y is it showing 12320???
Did you restart your OC4J and rerun your Forms?

The Data access service not running or not yet initialized.

i am getting the following error wen tryin to open the console The Data access service not running or not yet initialized. on scom 2012 R2 before it was working fine but once i closed the console and open got the error
OS : Windows 2012r2 patched and scom 2012 r2
sql : 2012 r2 enuff database size
tried few things as :
1. change the account to domain admin for system center data acess service still no luck
2. created registry keys for servicepipetimeout to 6000 bt still nit working
3. Refresh sql account used for sccom data aceess service still no luck
4. the service disappears as running after 30 seconds and the console is unable to open
kindly help if some perfect resolution as lot of time has been wasted and need to meet deadlines.

Check that following:
Verify permission of SCOM Account on sysadmin and OM DB.
Check firewall that is disable
Check antivirus that didn't block scom folders or services.
Check SQL services is running
Check Space of database at 5 GB as you configured. It is best practice to set the db size at a reasonable size and not to set to autogrowth.

In Example Finder, I can't open the example, error: server not running

It say's the web server is not running when I try to click into any examples. It's installed under academic license 12.0.1.f3

Does this issue only occur when you are logged on to the Domain? In other words, if you donot log on to the network does the example finder work correctly then? If so then you probably have to ask your System Administrator to allow access for the NI System Web server in your Firewall.
