The number buttons on my gf iPhone 4S are slow, u press it and need to wait
Now when she tries to put her pass code it takes ages for 1 digit to register, now trying to type messages is very slow
Please help
try powering off and back on the iphone. I had the same issue and after a few restarts it went back to normal.

How can I find the number of contacts in my iphone. When i go in thru either the contacts application or thru the phone i don't see the number at the bottom of the contacts. I have IOS7. If you are a Verizon user try this:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again and see if it's fixed. -
trying to connect my iphone 4 to my home wifi network! my android phone gives me the option of pushing the arrows button on my router and on my android phone but cannot find the "push the arrows button" option on my iphone 4. is this option available?? and if so, where is it located???
No such option on an iPhone. Just go to Settings>wifi, tap the name (SSID) of your your home network from the list, then when prompted, enter the password.

When you say you want it to stay unlocked, do you mean that you don't want to have to swipe to unlock it if you push the home button in that time, or do you mean you don't want to have to ender your passcode if you turn it back on within that time?
If you're referring to the passcode lock, Settings>General>Passcode Lock>Requie Passcode. Set the interval you want.
If you can't change the time before it request the passcode, that's likely because you have an Exchange account set up on the phone and the administrator is enforcing a policy that requires passcode entry immediatly after placing the phone in standby. -
My MacBook Pro randomly froze during a sync to my iPhone and started making a scratching noise by the power button. I shut it off then turned it back on and it won't take me to the desk tops it will just flash a folder with a question mark in it. What do I do?

Where in god’s name is the homesharing button, I see a little cloud that you cannot click on and tells you what account you have but that's it. There's an option for turning on and off homesharing, but no button to access the actual library of the other PC. On either PCs. Both are logged in and both are registered for homesharing. however because apple keeps updating and moving things around for no reason there appears to be no way of accessing the homsharing button in the latest version of itunes. the website refers to " Once set up, all the libraries from your computers you've enabled Home Sharing on will show up in the SHARED area of iTunes:" well I have searched all over in the recent itunes versions and there is no "shared area" to be found.

My iPad 2 will not allow me to update my apps. When I hit the update button I get a spinning circle but then it times out and doesn't update. In the past when I have updated successfully, the spinning circle would show me an indicator of time left on the update. I no longer have this Indicator. The circle just spins and times out and nothing happens. I've reset the iPad in the settings menu, reset the router, logged in and out of Apple id, powered ithe iPad off and on, and tried a couple other "fixes" that I've read online. So far no luck. AAny help would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks!
How much free space do you have? If it is low, installers may not be able to run properly.

how on earth do you contact adobe - i lost my serial number before registering my standalone software...the phone service is offshore and not very helpful - the chat (i thought it was realtime) has been slow - if i understand, you need your proof of purchase and they will issue a serial number
To help address performance issues the Identi-e web site is currently down for maintenance. If you are trying to redeem a product code to obtain your serial number for the Student & Teacher edition of our software you will currently be unable to do so. I have just updated my MBP 17 / retina display to Maverick OS. I am unable to shutdown or log off. When i press the shutdown button, a black screen appears which goes off on pressing any key. The shutdown or log off dialog does not appear. Your kind help is much appreciated.
The button response has changed.
Short press : sleep
Medium press (2-3 sec) : restart, shutdown, sleep dialog
Long press : force shutdown. (Same as before) -

You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.

If it is still under warranty take it to an Apple Store, or in any case call AppleCare (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 for list of international phone numbers) to see if they can help you. They may be able to help you with repairs if it is a physical problem with the home button.

When I come from outside and press the home button to turn my iPod on, there is white, light blue and red lines but it is transparent enough that I can see my background, time, etc. It hasn't been water damaged, so that can't be the problem. I was thinking maybe it is just because of the cold but, I don't like having my iPod doing that whenever I come back from the cold. However, I was in class too and this problem happened but it was inside! So I am very worried, I have dropped my ipod a few times but it hasn't fallen that hard to effect it.
Try:

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
