The number of photos in an event does not match between iPhoto and iTunes

Hi,
Not sure what's up but the number of photos in one of my events in iPhoto is 19 but on iTunes it shows (and syncs) as only 9.
Any ideas?
Jennifer

Not that I've heard -- but it looks like 250,000 for iPhoto -- a bunch

  • Photo count does not match between iPhone and Aperture Album

    I have several Aperture albums synced with my iPhone. In one instance, I have an album that in Aperture has 272 images, and on the iPhone has only 62. The 62 on the iPhone are not the first or last 62, but an assortment over the span of the 272, with no apparent rhyme or reason. All the images in Aperture are in the library (none are missing), they are all the same size, format, etc.
    For reference, my iPhone has a total of 680 photos in 13 albums, the largest album is 164 photos. There is almost a gig of space left on the 8GB iPhone, so it is not running out of room.
    How can I resolve this, or is there a fix/trouble ticket on the map for this? Help!!

    Hi. I had the same problem. It was resolved after I selected the all the photos in that album then go to Aperture Menu > Images > Update Preview.
    The photo count shown in iTunes was correct after that. Hope this helps.

  • Help! Order of photos in a Folder does not match order of albums

    I have seen dozens of threads on folders and albums, sorting them etc. However did not quite find an answer to this one.
    The question is : Why the order of photos in a Folder does not match with the order of Albums I have created underneath the Folder?
    In other words I created a floder and placed within the folder a few albums we will call G, K, C ...etc in the chronological order in which I want to show the pictures. The pictures within the album are not strictly chronological. ( I will explain more if this is an issue)
    Next when I click on the Folder, I notice that the photos are grouped by the corresponding Album which is what they should be, however their(photos) order did not correspond to that of the Albums. In other words, in the Folder view, I see photos of K first and then may be G and then may be C. I am not able to change that order to G, K, C..the way I want. This will mess up the slideshow for me.
    For clarity, I created each album simply by dragging corresponding event down into the Folder. The events are sorted by date and ascending in View>Sort Events.
    I appreciate any suggestions please!
    Thanks

    Try the following:
    1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
    2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
    User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
    or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
    Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
    3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, reset its preferences and try the slideshow again.
    NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
    If you're running Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
    where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 site server client installation error: The client version 5.00.7958.1000 does not match the MP version 5.00.7804.1000.

    Hello,
    When I try to install the client on the site server itself it gives me this error message and fails the ccmsetup. I only have this on the site server. Clients to other servers and computers are pushed fine. If I check the version of the MP it says 5.00.7958.1000
    in ADSI. I removed the MP object in CN=System, CN=System Management. Waited for it to be regenerated automatically by SCCM but the installation doesn't work still.
    I tried to install with several methods including directly from ccmsetup.exe in ccmsetup folder, pushing by sccm itself, running from commandline, ...
    I run SCCM 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and the database on SQL 2008 on Server 2008 R2

    I agree with Idan. You can easily remove the Management Point Site System role and add it again with no adverse effect. This should solve your problem.

    I think the installer finds some remenance of the old SMS_MP. When looking i found some remains in IIS . I tried to remove the remains but still have the same error when installing the client. I uninstalled IIS completly. Can someone tell me where the client
    installer looks for the MP version? Would it help if i installed an SCCM MP on that server and the uninstalled it (Upgrade the MP)?

    Their must be something remaining that ccmclean can't find or can' access so i ran ccmclean /mp. This did some stuff and told me the system was clean again. I reran the client setup.
    Guess what
    It worked !
    Thanxs Kent

  • Issue with only one client - The client version 5.00.7958.1000 does not match the MP version 5.00.7711.0000. The client will not be installed.

    Below issue is with only one client in that untrusted domain. So boundary is not the issue.

    Why two primary that is 'coz geographically based server support and workstation. You can think it as a data center to data center split.
    That doesn't make sense and aren't valid reasons for 2012 (not that you can necessarily change it now).
    This line jumps out at me in the log file though: "An MP exists on this machine".
    That looks like the system you are installing on previously had an MP on it. I would delete the ccm namespace in WMI, cleanup all reference to ccm and Configuratin Manager from the registry, and then try again.

  • SSIS The parameterized sql statement yields metadata which does not match the main SQL statement

    Hi all,
    I'm getting the above error when trying to execute a custom lookup.  What I'm trying to do is lookup the minimum promotional price between date ranges.  The SQL executes fine in SSMS
    SELECT refTable.PRICE
    FROM ( SELECT MIN(PRICE) AS PRICE ,
    NAME ,
    ITEMRELATION ,
    FROMDATE ,
    TODATE
    FROM [dbo].[AllCustPrices]
    GROUP BY NAME ,
    ITEMRELATION ,
    FROMDATE ,
    TODATE
    ) [refTable]
    WHERE [refTable].[NAME] = ?
    AND [refTable].[ITEMRELATION] = ?
    AND ? BETWEEN [refTable].[FROMDATE]
    AND [refTable].[TODATE]
    but errors in SSIS?

    Apologies, totally forgot i posted a question on here.  I still haven't resolved this.  full error text is TITLE: Package Validation Error
    Package Validation Error
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Error at Data Flow Task [Lookup MIN Price [440]]: The parameterized SQL statement yields metadata which does not match the main SQL statement.
    Error at Data Flow Task [SSIS.Pipeline]: "Lookup MIN Price" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_ISBROKEN".
    Error at Data Flow Task [SSIS.Pipeline]: One or more component failed validation.
    Error at Data Flow Task: There were errors during task validation.
     (Microsoft.DataTransformationServices.VsIntegration)
    BUTTONS:
    OK
    If I take off the MIN function and just put * SSIS is quite happy, it does not like MIN for some reason?
    I'm really stumped with this... checked metadata for third parameter which is W/C Date DT_DBTIMESTAMP which is same as FROMDATE, TODATE where i'm using BETWEEN...

  • The time on the weather widget on my home screen does not match the phone time.  Initially it did, but one day it started being 1 hour earlier than the phone time.  I went into Settings/Date

    The time on the weather widget on my home screen does not match the phone time.  Initially it did, but one day it started being 1 hour earlier than the phone time.  I went into Settings/Date & Time & now the time on the weather widget is correct, but the phone time is 1 hour earlier.  Any suggestions??

    Settings | Date and Time  then select Automatic date & time, and Automatic time zone. In this way, the carrier time will populate the phone. If it's still going 1hour off, then I'd call VZW and inquire if they have a tower issue, specially if it happens in one particular place.

  • Cannot mark the 'site' location of instances fixed, Bel does not match

    Hello,
    i have a problem using the PlanAhead Tool (v.14.5) from the ISE (v.14.5).
    First of all, i have loaded an .ucf-file to define various IO for the Design. After that, i have createt a pblock for some part of the design, which also includes some of the previous mentioned IOs. I said to PlanAhead, that it should use the IO as predefined. The design compiles without error and works quite fine.
    The next step for me now is to lock the pblock, which means to fix the instance, so that the compiler does not have to re-map and -place&route this part of the design. (so i try to fix the part of the netlist)
    And if i try to do this, i get different errors:
    - marking the whole pblock and right click --> fix instances i get the following error:
    Cannot mark the 'site' location of instances fixed, Bel does not match
    with the valid locations at which this inst can be placed
    So i searched for this special problem and found this:
    Vivado Solution which seems to be a bug in the PlanAhead software from Vivado. My question is : is in my PlanAhead ISE version the same bug ?
    (copying and typing the same command in the tcl console does not work)
    - Second: i tried to manuel set primitives to "fix instances" which works quite fine for most of the primitives but not for all. Some of these produce errors like:
    Cannot mark the 'bel' location of instances fixed, 'Element
    SLICE_X66Y112.B5LUT can not be used as a route-through for net xy
    because a RAM or shift register is placed there'
    Is it still a bug, can i somehow resolve this error ?
    I hope you can help me out here.
    Best regards.

    Hello,
    thanks for your answer.
    I send you the two ucf files:
    The first one is the "original" ucf used to define the constrains (I/O,...) and the second the one PlanAhead has generated (but with no "fixed instances") .
    Thanks

    Hi Spookola,
    I don't know how that could have happened. Go through the folders for the rolls and separate the 2005 rolls from the 2006 rolls, then import the 2006 rolls.

  • Accordion load event does not fire when accordion and load event created dynamically using actionsript

    I cannot get the accordion load event to fire when I have
    created the accordion and load event using actionscript . Here is
    some sample code:
    createClassObject(mx.containers.Accordion, "acc",
    getNextHighestDepth());
    acc.createSegment(mx.containers.ScrollPane, "sc1", "Number
    One");
    acc.createSegment(mx.containers.ScrollPane, "sc2", "Number
    Two");
    var accLis=new Object();
    accLis.load=function(evtObj) {
    trace("load");
    accLis.change=function(evtObj) {
    trace("change");
    acc.addEventListener("load", accLis);
    acc.addEventListener("change", accLis);
    I made sure to add the ScrollPane and Accordion components
    to my library. So the load event does not fire, but the change
    event does fire. And through further testing the other events do
    not fire, including the draw event. Can anyone help? The only time
    I can get the load event to fire on an accordion is if I put an
    accordion on stage, select it and add the actionscript to the
    objects actions like shown below:
    on(load) {
    trace("load");
    on(draw) {
    trace("draw");
    Can somebody help? Unfortunately I must create all my
    components dynamically. Thank you in advance.

    I'm having this issue also...but only apparently with Internet Explorer and only on some machines...ideas?

  • Annotation does not transfer between android and windows....

    I originally asked this question in June.
    I bought a Kindle Fire.
    I downloaded Adobe for Android.
    I read some pdf's for work.
    I annotated them.
    I plugged the kindle into my desktop.
    I opened a file explorer on my desktop and went to look at the annotated files on my desktop using Adobe 11 reader.
    There was no annotation.
    There was no annotation when I copied the file onto my desktop.
    There still is annotation when I open the file on my kindle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    There is no sync problem because I am not moving the file through the cloud.
    I need the annotation to transfer so I can put it back into my library and continue using the annotated file for research and writing..
    Unless this software can do this kind of an operation it is useless to me and severely limits my ability to use my kindle.
    Is there a solution?
    Is there an update?
    My conversation in June was closed by staff after telling me to send the files to [email protected] because the discussion groups don't accept attachments.
    They promptly neglected to reply  to me.
    I have searched my spam folder and found nothing.
    Someone dropped the ball.....
    please pick it up....
    tell me what I have done wrong or that the software does not actually support this....
    or someone who can get this software to work under the conditions I described above please tell me how they did it....
    Awaiting your solutions.....

    Hi,
    We are still investigating this issue and wanted to share few initial results with you.
    We are able to see this happening on device having Android version 4.4. Can you please confirm Android version on your device?
    And the good news is that things start working fine if we restart the device before connecting to the desktop.
    Quick steps you need to follow -
    1. Restart your device
    2. Now attach it to desktop
    3. Try to open files having highlighted text.
    It should work after following these steps. Please try and it should solve your problem for now.
    Thanks

    Dear All
    in my family we have 3 ipods: a shuffle, a ipod 20gb and a nano. While the first 2 are easily connecting to windows and itunes, the nano doesn't and does not recognise the USB port of my laptop[message 'unkwnon device']. • Calender does not work between IOS5 and IOS4.3 iPad

    We have two iPads. One is unfortunately on IOS5 and the other is on IOS4.3. When i activate the calender on both devices the shared calender is seen on the IOS4.3 iPad but not on the IOS5 iPad. Whatever i try using google accounts or iCloud it only works one way. Seems like another bug in IOS5? The CalDav fucntion that is proposed on multiple answers does not seem to work at all on the IOS5 iPad, it simply does not accept the password. Is there a simple way out? Or would i need to upgrade the second iPad also to IOS5 as i cannot downgrade the first iPad back to IOS4.3?
    help...

    The iOS 4 device will not be able to use iCloud, of course.
    As to Google calendars, I found that there's something different about how Calendar works in iOS 5.  I had a couple Google calendars that I was subscribed to in iOS 4, but when I upgraded, those calendars stopped updating, and I could not figure out for the life of me where those calendars were defined.  I ultimately had to remove them and then re-add them in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.  Click Add Account, and if you only want a calendar, click Other, then Add CalDAV Account or Add Subscribed Calendar.

  • WCCP does not work between WSA and ASA

    I have configured WCCPv2 between WSA S160 (         6.3.1-025) and ASA5540 (8.2(1)109).
    Everything seems to be OK by "show wccp *" on ASA and showing wccp debugging messages (level 4) on S160. Despite of it, WCCP redirection does not work.
    If I use packet-capture I figure out that S160 receives GRE packets with TCP SYN from particular LAN host to WWW sites but S160 does not handle them and does not send anything back to ASA.
    It is an Exempt from authentication for this LAN host and in Forward proxy mode everything works well.
    I have attached an example of a packet-capture (S160.txt - renamed from .cap) and debugging messages from S160 & "show" from ASA.
    Does anybody have any idea what the problem is and how I can resolve it ?

    IronPort Support team helped me to find the trouble:
    If I wish to handle specific port's (80, 8080, etc.) traffic by the transparent proxy I need to configure this port like a listener for the FORWARD proxy
    ("Security Services" -> "Proxy Settings" -> "HTTP Ports to Proxy")
    The WSA guide doesn't clearly say about it.
    So the Discussion can be closed ...
