nope, it will probably work just fine. i had the same thing happen both while installing upon a Sparc box and a x86 box...but both go onliine...

What store are you trying to purchase in? If its a U.S. card - you have to use it in the U.S. store.
Go to Settings>General>International>Region Format>United States. Then go to Settings>Store>Tap your Apple ID. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to country/region and make sure that you are in the U.S. store in there.

HT5848 iTunes Radio won't work

Just updated my iTunes and the iTunes Radio won't work. An error message comes up everytime after I choose a station. All the featured stations are missing as well (i.e. they're just not even there). Any help?

I can see this comment fell on deaf ears. iTunes radio also randomly skips large chunks of songs... Usually the good ones.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? Most of the people on these public forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to remove the card number from your post - hopefully nobody else will have read it and redeemed it onto their account.
Was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based (they are only valid in their country of issue) ?
