The odds of BT not screwing up line/broadband move...

Have ordered a move, phone line and broadband, same exchange, to a new office a mile away. Originally placed the order OK, then had to change the date. Was on hold 22 minutes (gave up), and 30 minutes (got through) before I could give them the new date. Was originally told it would be free, am now told it will be £99. Was told it would all be done on the same day at the same time. Am now told it could be 5 working days after phone lines moves before broadband moves. I also have the nasty feeling that this move ties me into BT for another few years. Since booking this I've had cold-calls from BT trying to flog me a website I don't need, an advisor in an Indian call centre call with info I already had, and someone 'returning your call' when I requested no such thing. I offered £10 to a charity of BT's choice if they could complete this simple order without screwing up. They declined. I have a nasty feeling that in 2 weeks time I will be without phone, net, and in the hands of the BT machine...
BT - If someone, anyone, is reading this. Lax service KILLS small businesses like mine, make the effort, pleeeeease !

    Creation of an invoice via the FB60,
    Integral payment of the invoice via F-53,
    Creation of the confirmation of the operation in bank via the manual statement FF67,
    Clearing of the intermediate banking account  with the bank account  via F-03.
    After all these elements, by executing the RFUMSV50 program, I have nothing in result.
    There somebody who had the same problem, could help us?

    Service Tax credit cannot be utilized unless the Vendor Invoice is Paid. This is the reason till the payment is done the service tax Amount will be accumulated in deferred tax account and once the invoice is paid the balance in deferred tax is need to be transferred  to respective Service Tax , Educational Cess and higher Education Cess account. There can be various business scenarios for full and Partial Payment to facilitates the transfer of such deferred balance to respective account SAP has come up with some new standard program RFUMSV50 instead of RFUMSV25. To overcome the limitation of this program i.e. not able to take care of more than one tax line item, below the solution is provided with scenarios “Full Payment is made to Vendor Invoice”.

  • The forgotton estate(s) 2013 & no fixed line Broadband ! Why ?

     Glanmire is a large town situated 6 kilometres outside Cork city.Glanmire has a population of 16,000 + people. I have a house in Elmgrove,Sallybrook,Glanmire,Cork.  There are over 150 houses in the estate.There are two other estates in close proximity. Barrymore Estate (200 houses) & Millbrook ( 100 houses)

     We have no fixed line broadband. 
     At least 450 houses are screaming out for fixed line broadband. Its not like we are living out in the middle of nowhere!
    I was told years ago the the extange has to be upgraded.
     I got hopeful latley when i saw kn networks laying cables on the main road at the entrance of our estate.
    I have heard since that the houses across the road from our estate has fixed line.
     Phoning eircom enquiring on "when" has been a waste of time.
     My neighbours and i feel we have been overlooked and forgotton about.
     I have read other posts from eircom customers and am impressed with your honestly & helpful advise.

     Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply. The details I used in signing up to this forum is from 1 of 2 houses that I own.The details I used are from a house in the country miles from the Cork city.(Carraignavar). That house has broadband. The other house is the one that I am seeking information on.Its in Elmgrove,Sallybrook,Glanmire,Cork. I included a link of the exact location in my first post. This house is just outside Cork city and is in the middle of 3 large estates of about 500 houses and has absolutely no fixed-line broadband whatsoever. The markings on the exchange box are  SBK1  MDF We arena looking for NGB or efibre.   Just fixed-line broadband will do. All the surrounding areas of Glanmire have broadband. All except the 3 estates I mentioned in my 1st post. 1. Millbrook Estate, Sallybrook, Glanmire, Cork2. Barrymore Estate, Sallybrook, Glanmire, Cork3. Elmgrove Estate, Sallybrook, Glanmire Cork You said in your reply "From existing network / exchange capability to existing to possible customer base"Does this mean that is must be worthwhile for eircom to upgrade the network/exchange  ?The above estates have roughly 500 houses in them.Surely those figures alone would justify upgrading. The reason I titled the subject " The forgotten estates" is because I truly believe we have been forgotten about. All of the surrounding areas can receive eircom fixed line broadband. All except us. You also said in your reply "I am afraid there is no process to escalate or expedite a request for an exchange to be upgraded broadband"If you cant escalate or expedite a request for an upgrade, can you at least find out why we haven been upgraded already when all the surrounding areas have.     I had exact same problem and I have found a way to get round out!!!! Easy!
    So the reason it doesn't allow it to play is for security to stop piracy etc.
    Plug in the cable and VGA and aux cable and get everything set up so you are looking at the home screen.
    1) select Videos
    2) selected the film you want to watch
    3) click the little play button
    4) it will then come up with the message saying it can't play protected films blah blah blah
    5) WITHOUT clicking ok double tap the home button to bring up the multitasking bar and swipe left to reveal the control panel
    6) hold fast forward for a second or two and the movie with continue to play!
    Stay in the multi tasking bar with the control panel, The message will stay there but don't worry. Kick back and enjoy your iPad movie on the big screen:)

  • IPad 2 to Apple TV: Cannot Play Movie - The Connected Device is not authorized to play protected movies.

    I am getting the 'Connected Device is not authorized to play protected movies' message.
    Here is my setup:
    From the iPad 2 I used iTunes to Rent a movie - Safe House in SD.
    I then used Airplay Mirroring to send the movie to my Apple TV.
    The Apple TV is connected to a Vizio V0370M HDTV.
    According to Vizio all of the HDMI ports have HDCP.
    When the movie starts I get this error message on the iPad.
    I have used this approach in the past with success.
    I rented a couple of episodes of HBO's True Blood and they played just fine on the Vizio through Apple TV.
    I believe some were in HD and some SD.
    Using the iPad with Airplay Mirroring is a very nice way to send content to the HDTV.
    I was hoping I'd be able to do this for anything that is on the iPad.
    Is there something wrong with my configuration? Or what I'm trying to do?

    Firstly restart the AppleTV, secondly check the HDMI lead and if possible swap for another or another HDMI input - sounds as though AppleTV thinks the TV is not HDCP capable.

  • Movies on iPhone 6 plus won't play on my tv with the adapter. Device not allowed to play protected movies. It worked before the update

    I Just tried to play a movie off of my iPhone 6 plus ios 8.1 on my tv using the hdmi adapter, the movie plays for about 2 secs and then tells me the device is not authorized to play protected movies.. I have power rebooted my phone closed everything out and it stil isn't working.. I can do anything else like view web pages and Netflix just not purchased movies from iTunes.. Oh and it worked before the update I used it several times..

    MPlayer was developed a decade ago, and I prefer it for viewing DVDs (for 'DVD Player') seems too dark. VLC (legally) copies many CRM-protected DVDs of yours, so you can play only the burned copy. When I'm having a problem playing a DVD, the VLC log tells me all: only perfect DVDs play well on VLC.
    There are two ways of viewing everything.
    Streaming MPEG-4
    +H.264/MPEG-4 AVC+ is a fancy codec based upon MPEG-4: it requires a powerful processor to de-compress it. I watched an MPEG-4 movie from a G3 iBook in 2005. It played flawlessly.
    Your Problem
    Quicktime 7.X applications can not play +H.264/MPEG-4 AVC+ streams. It was a bug Apple never fixed. Frames are dropped because H.264 is so slow that it requires special hardware. You, I'm sad to say, don't have it.
    To quote the Wikipedia on Quicktime: 'QuickTime 7 lacks support for H.264's Sample Aspect Ratio .[67] QuickTime X does not have this limitation; many Apple products (such as iTunes and Apple TV) still use the older QuickTime 7 engine.'
    My Quicktime Pro on a PPC PowerBook is 7.6.4. You can either use a Linux transplant or upgrade to Quicktime X. Those more familiar with Macs may have better ideas for you.

    I can only print the first few lines of an e-mail, even when it is on "Full View" on my screen. Moreover, it prints with very small print that is hard to read and also contains additional material on the screen that is not part of the e-mail.

    I talked to Adobe Support tonight and found this issue to be a known problem with some of the Adobe Cloud products when using older hardware, in this case the C782.
    So, we found a workaround. Unfortunately the work around isn’t efficient and adds more steps to their normal printing routine
    Open InDesign and create, modify delete the card
    Select FileàExport
    A window will appear. Pick the location you wish to save the file
    Once the File is saved another window will appear
    “EXPORT Adobe PDF”
    An Export to Adobe PDF window will appear. Accept all defaults. MAKE CERTAIN “VIEW PDF
    After EXPORTING” is CHECKED
    Select Export
    Once EXPORT is complete the file will open automatically in Adobe Acrobat
    Most likely the screen will be very large
    Select the + - sign at the top of the page to adjust the page size to view the image
    Select FileàPrint
    The Print window will appear
    Select the printer from the drop down
    # of COPIES is just below Printer
    Select OK

    While executing  t.code FBL3N,the  vendor code is not coming against some Assignment line items with the GL A/C4607000, some line items it is coming.
    The GL A/c 4607000 is GR/IR clearing a/c.
    Please let us know  why this situation is happeing at the time of FBL3N.

    HI,
    By activating the special fields you can the vendor number, but use the new reprot called "FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New) ".
    First go to SPRO> Financial Accounting (New)> General Ledger Accounting (New)--> Master Data > G/L Accounts>Line Items --> Define Special Fields for Line Item Display
    Click on New Entries -
    Table - BSEG - Field - LIFNR
    Save. Now execute the report - FAGLL03 - Display/Change Items (New)
    Give the gl account number and execute.
    After getting the line items list from menu select --Settings --> Special Fields --> Click on New Entries --> Enter Table BSEG, Field Name LIFNR.
    After this come back and execute again. It will give you the vendor number.

    What could be the reason these items are not cleared and now how these line
    items can be cleared?

    When the Dr and Cr amount are equal to zero system will automatically clear the line items in F.13.  Here the open items are appearing with different amounts due to that system not able to clear.
    By passing some manual JV or something you done to make Dr and Cr equal to zero then you clear through F-03(untick post automatically for this clearing in T.cdoe FS00)

    See if this helps .... Reset the iPad.
    Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider bar - let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up. Then check your emails.

    This featue is only available on iphone running ios 5 or later.
    Update as you always have, via itunes.
