The Official Set up using the BT home hub

Ive seen all sorts of posts on the net, and people saying the Home hub is this and that.
It does have its problems but this has been my set up for quite a few months now:
All in all I can provide full specs.
The Iphone 4 and HTC Desire HD will be coming on the 21st Of December when both mine and my sister contracts are up for upgrade.
Wired Equipment
AMD athlon X2 6000, 8GB RAM, 256 MB PCI-E graphics card (cant remeber spec), 80Gb raptor drive, 80gb hard drive £400 in 2007, Windows 7 professional 64bit.
Wester Digital My book world edition 2Tb connected via wire using twonky media server, every device on the network can view files on it via access rights.
Wester digital My book 500GB usb hard drive
Xbox 360 Slim 250GB
PS3 Slim 250GB
Sony Bravia KDL32EX503U - £370 with VAT cashback and free blu ray player.
Wireless Equipment
Toshiba Satellite laptop Intel I3, 256MB graphics, 2 320GB hard drives (not partitioned), Wireless N intel Chipset.
Mesh no idea what model, AMD Athlon II X2 215 (2.17 Ghz x2), 4GB ram, 512 MB Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 graphics card, 500 GB hard drive, windows professinal 64bit for £290 or so 1 year ago, Edimax Wireless LAN card full 300 mbps N compatible (when the homehub can use it?), wireless card was £16.99 on top.
20 Inch samsung syncmaster DVI, Sony KDL 32V2000 (old TV) via HDMI, extended desktop and freeview.
Akasa integral SAta hard drive enclosure 500Gb hard drive (USB).
HTC hero occasionally connected, but will be thrown when the desire HD comes in, it has Wireless N!!!
Other equipment has been removed (Couple of old laptops, 1 old desktop and a couple phones, the wired TV has DLNA and internet TV features. Both games consoles are connected to the wired TV.
The homeplug next to the TV/ bt vision box has a netgear network switch connect so the ps3, xbox, bt vision, and sony internet TV can all connect to the net with out unplugging ethernets  all the time.
I was thinking of uploading pictures, but it will not show the connections.
Let me know what you all think, I made the picture look like the set up diagrams in manuals..
But its still pretty bad lol

lol, my sister is set on it.
Shes gone through 4 blackberry's, orange replace them for free.
They break so easily, they have many software issues.
The TV's were both at decent prices, no too bothered on a massive TV.
I will be buying a 55 or 60 inch sometime next year but for the time being 32 is enough.
The house will be getting refurbed next year some time, so I will deal with all that then.
I dont want to pay for the Iphone 4 £130 or so and then £35 per month for the contract, but my sister wants to get the phone.
Since I pay for the contract shes gonna give me the money to buy the phone.
Stupid price fixing for Iphones, should be illegal and yet trading standards turn a blind eye.

    Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
    When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.

    What is the best setting to use to import CD Music and Music from the Internet to iTunes?? as I would like to listen to the highest quality there is on iTunes and my 80GB Apple Video iPod.
    The settings are: ACC Encoder, AIFF Encoder, Apple Lossless Encoder, MP3 Encoder, WAV Encoder. If you have not got them to hand.

    There really is no BEST setting. The "best" setting is the one that sounds the best to you.
    Having said that, you also asked what setting provides the highest quality audio. In that case, you need to use a lossless format, such as AIFF, WAV, or Apple Lossless. MP3 and AAC are both compressed formats, and will not provide as good of an audio quality as a lossless format.
    My personal preference would be Apple Lossless, but any of the lossless formats will produce an almost identical quality to the CD track.
    Keep in mind, the files will be quite large.

    Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

    It is not really necessary to close apps from there. It is more like a recently used apps list. You can close them from there if a problem occurs with the app, and there are only a few apps that will remain running when you close them with the Home button.   • Issue while posting the invoice in background using the WF-BATCH user

      I am facing an issue while posting the invoice in background using the WF-BATCH user. I am using a invoice approval workflow where in when the approver approvers the invoice the invoice document get posted using a background method, which uses BO FIPP and Method POST and i am returning the Message Text to my workflow container from this method. When i see the log an exception is rasied from this method with an error  message "V004: You are not authorized to change this document", but WF-BATCH is having SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW authorizations. If i try to post the invoice using the method from my user id it is getting posted. What could be the issue. Please advice.

    The Parameter, Roles would be different for the LOGIN USER and WF-BATCH.. So ask your administrator
    to set the Roles & Parameters similar to that of LOGIN USER to WF-BATCH.
    For further refrence check in SU01 giving the LOGIN USER and then check with WF-BATCH... you would
    find the difference...

  • I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS!  When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works.  The photos and videos won't populate.  I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now.

    Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
    Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:                
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
    .- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network      
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
