The operating system can not detect my wireless device!

Hi all,
I am using windows server 2008 for the operating system and lenovo 3000 G430 for the laptop. but the operating system can not detect wireless device, on devices manager always show the drivers for this device are not installed! i tired for find and search the right driver. anyone have same problem with me and have solving this problem? or at least has same equation the operating system and the laptop series.

Office 2013 ODT The operating system is not presently configured to run this application

We have RDS 2012 R2 setup up and running with session host, connection broker, rd gateway and rd web. AS office 2013 can be deployed using APP-V 5 SP2, we have created .appv pkg using ODT as mentioned in this
guide . It was working fine for 2 days and then suddenly we started to get error popup window saying
"The operating system is not presently configured to run this application" . We are receiving this error on Session host server(win 2k12 r2) which is App-V 5 sp2 client, when we try to open any office 2013 app.
And If check on App-v server which is also a publishing server. In event viewer i see this log entry.

We have the same issue. All other applications seem to work fine.
App-V 5.0 SP1 with hotfix package 2 installed on the App-V Management/Publishing server. We only use Windows Server 2012 RDS instead of R2. On the RDS servers, App-V 5.0 SP2 is installed. We use User Profile Disks and also used the ODT for Office
2013.
I our case it worked for a few hours. We didn't change anything (no updates of other things) other than having a few users try to login with different accounts to test the application. Reinstalling the client doesn't work and we also tried to removed
all AppVClientPackages and then clear the cache from locations like:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\AppV\Client\VFS
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\AppV\Client\VFS
C:\ProgramData\App-V
I'll post a solution if I find one.

Since you have not provided any actual system info not told us what version of Photoshop, we can't really know what is going on.

System can not detect X-Fi Titanium

A few days ago I purchased a Creative X-Fi Titanium and have installed it into a PCI Express slot on my motherboard, however, the system seems completely unable to detect it. I'm running Windows Vista x64 and no new devices have appeared in Device Manager, but I don't think this is at all OS related, as the card does not appear in any way in the PCI Devices Table that you will usually see on most motherboards after BIOS POST but just before boot-up of the operating system begins.
Unfortunately, I can't use any of the other two PCI Express slots on my motherboard as I'm running a CrossFireX setup; one of the slots is obstructed by a graphics card fan and the other would almost certainly create some cooling issues, so this is the only slot I can safely use. The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P running the absolute latest BIOS, F6a. It's a beta BIOS, but I needed to install it to get the CrossFireX setup to work correctly.
I want to know if there's anything else I can try to get this card to work? It's brand new, and I don't want to start the whole warranty process unless I'm reasonably certain the card is at fault. Unfortunately, I don't have another machine with PCI Express slots I can test the card in.
So can anyone suggest anything? I've been reading up on google and it seems a number of people have had problems with this card, various incompatibilities for instance, so I don't appear to be alone.

It turns out that on my motherboard, the second PCIe x6 slot shares the same bus as the three PCIe x slots. As such, when running a CrossFireX setup (dual graphics cards) the x slots are inoperable. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the Intel P35 chipset or specific to the design of this particular motherboard, I am leaning towards the former however. Upgrading to a P45 based motherboard should remedy the [email protected]

Guess I need a little handholding here.
Otherwise the Arch installtion is running beautifully off a cable connection, which comes from the Netgear wireless router.

The ujpgrade from testing did change the wireless capablilities but we still have some problems.
Here is an extract from dmesg:

If I respond the program terminates with an error and disconnects my current eth0 connection.

The dialog and netcfg packages are in the OS. i have tried uncommenting NETWORKS=menu but no dialog appears during the boot.
I am currently connected with cable. Is that a conflict in enabling wireless.
The wireless network uses wpa encryption and connects in Windows Vista on this machine. It's a dual boot machine.

How can I run Photoshop Elements4 with Windows7. The operating system will not open and run it.

Did it install and you're just getting errors trying to run it? If so, try clicking on your Start button. Then, go to All Programs, find the entry for Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and "right click" on it. Select Properties, and in the Properties dialogue click the Compatibility Tab and try running it in XP Compatibility mode and see if it works that way.
If not, then it is really not compatible. Just buy the latest (Photoshop Elelments 9) while they offer $40 mail-in rebate (Ends January 5, 2011)

"Adobe Captivate could not detect a recording device ..."

Adobe Captivate shows my Snowflake USB microphone but doesn't record sound from it. When I choose Calibrate I get "Adobe Captivate could not detect a recording device". However, I can record from the microphone in all my other apps (Rosetta Stone, Sony SoundForge, etc.), so I know it's not a hardware issue.
When I go to "Sound" in Vista Pro's "Sound" option on control panel the Microphone is chosen as the default recording device, and I see the bars moving up and down when I talk.
What can I do to get "Captivate" to see the Mic?
A temporary workaround I found is to plug the Microphone into my laptop, then select SPDIF in as the input source. Captivate still gives the "... could not detect a recording device..." error, but the sound records anyway. This is kludgy, however.

You may well just be out of luck. I heard Captivate 2 and Vista Pro used together. I don't believe Captivate was fully compliant with Vista until version 3. So that may explain things.
Unless someone pops in with a better idea, you should be able to record the audio separately, save as WAV or MP3 and import into your slides.

Wndows did not detect any biometric devices on this computer..

I have an HP ProBook 4540s running Windows 7 Professional w/IE11. I had to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro and since then I cannot get my fingerprint reader to work at all. In my Control panel, under Biometric Devices, I recieve the message "Windows did not detect any biometrics devices on this computer". However, under Computer , Properties, Device Manager, Biometric Devices, the is Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=003d).
I have tried to update, uninstall, re-install HP Simplepass, drivers, etc from the HP website, but nothing is working. Also I cannot find exactly what fingerpriint reader hardware is installed on the computer even though it is physically there as part of the original configuration.
I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

Connect the computer to another Mac and put it in FireWire Target Disk mode, or use the Disk Utility to clone the drive or image specific folders with the USB drive as the target. After you've copied off everything you want, you'll likely need to erase the drive and reinstall the applications.
