The operating units and inventory organization deleted form the system

I am defining new instant on oracle finance
First I have create Business group, Operating unit, inventory organization
Then I create the accounting setup and compete it
Went to operating unit tab of the accounting setup and complete it also
After that I try to configure the oracle payable
In the payable option when I try to select inventory organization , the inventory organization is not there
Then I check it in the global HRMS manger, in that the operating unit I already created are not appearing
What is the error I have done
Why the operating units and inventory organization deleted form the system

Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions, along with which document you are following to perform all these setups.

Hi, I have the iphone 4 and I manually deleted all the voice memos on my iphone but they still appear on my iphone when I open Itunes on my computer and they still take up space. I am soon running out of space. Any ideas to permanantly get rid of some of the voice memos?
Am I the only one that really dislike the fact I cannot customize my iphone and cannot delete whatever files I want?
The only options i seem to have is to delete all my files WITHOUT a system restor because I tried doing a system restore and it puts back all my old files on my iphones.

If I understand you correctly, you purchased two albums directly from your iPhone and have successfully transferred the purchases to your iTunes library, but now you want to remove these two albums from your iPhone but having trouble, correct?
If so, you can manually delete the albums (song-by-song) by sliding your finger across each song's name, from left to right, then select the Delete button.
Or, while your iPhone is connected to iTunes click on the Music tab that you see in iTunes (where you specify what items to sync to your iPhone). At the bottom of that window (below Playlists, Genre, etc.) you'll see songs that are "manually" added to your iPhone, just un-check those and re-sync.

Changing Operating Unit for Inventory Organization

We have Inventory Organizations already LIVE in Oracle EBS 12.1.3. These are assigned to an Operating Unit. We need to change operating Unit for an Inventory Org. Is it possible to just assign new Operating Unit for an existing Inventory Org? or do we need to define new Inventory Org and then assign the new Inventory org to the new Operating Unit? Let me know if any one has ever faced this requirement and how was it implemented. Thanks a lot.

The profile option MFG_ORGANIZATION_ID is used by forms that are inventory organization dependent, for example, View Material Transactions form. It is set by calling the function fnd_org.choose_org. It will open a list of values where you will be able to choose one inventory organization enabled to the responsibility you are currently using.
By default this profile option cannot be set at any level (site, responsibility, user…). I tried to enable it to be set at responsibility level. However, after having done that, nobody was able to enter Oracle e-Business.
Do you intend to restrict access to one inventory organization or just define a default inventory organization? If you intend to restrict access, you can use Organization Access (Inv Super User: Setup: Organization: Organization Access). There, you define the inventory organizations that are enable to each one of your responsibilities.
If you have no lines in that form, all organizations are available to all responsibilities. If you add just one line, access is denied to all responsibilities and organizations not listed. So, be careful in setting this up.

Change the Operating Unit and GL set of books on a responsiblity

Hi Every one
few of the responsibilities which were configured have a either a wrong of set of books or a wrong operating unit
For example a responsibilty which was suppose to have US Set of Books and US operating Unit has MX Set of Books and US Operating Unit
though in Multi Org setup MX set of Books is associated to MX operating Unit. Also vice versa happened on other responsibilities for example right set of books but wrong operating unit.
My question what is the impact of changing GL Set of Books, MO Profile Value to right one? we already have one year transactions on these responsibilities which are related Oracle Cost Management and Oracle inventory.

I am running into similar question - I am on R12 and am back tracking some origional set up issues
I want to change a opearing unit to report to a different GL ,I vcan change it in HR Organization profiles however If i post an entry via AP to GL it shows up in the (old ) GL

PR Number, Operating unit and Organization

Can any one please let me know if there is any Table or View available which gives me the relation between PR number, which Operating unit it belongs to and the Organization it belongs to.
For a given PR number I want to find out its Operating Unit and Its Organization.

we are doing System Landscape optimisation project and the issue is as follows
In account based copa when i run the KE30 report , i am getting the message in the target system
'Characteristic KNDNR is no longer in the field catalog and will be deleted'
In the source system (production system), the customer characteristic is available as a variable in the characteristic list as an option and can be selected in the KE32 t code.
the customer is available in the KE30 report (source system) and it can be drilled down on the basis of the customer but it is not possible in the target system
in the Target system (to be production system) the customer characteristic is not available as a variable for selection in the KE32 report under the characteristic list.
i checked the ke3e t code in both the source and the target system and the characteristic KNDNR is not available as a variable
I checked the KEA5 and KEA0 t code in both the source and the target system , the customer characteristic is not available

Hi,
Are you trying to create a report from a Form? When are you getting this information? At the time of creating the form (KE34) or report (KE31)?
I have not seen this message though, can suggest to check if the required characteristic is there in KEA0, KEA5 and also if adding that in KEQ3 helps.

We have set up a new Operating Unit in Oracle Apps. Now when I am trying to create a new Customer in that Operating Unit, I am receiving following error:
ERROR MESSAGE:-Please set the Receivables system options for this operating unit and ensure that the MO: Operating Unit profile option is correctly set with an operating unit that is set up in Receivables.
We do have MO: Operating Unit and MO: Default Operating Unit set properly at Responsibility level for the Responsibility through which I am accessing this form.

The workflow process is associated to the transaction you select by parameters in the function call.
The Responsibility 9e.g. employee self service) is linked to a menu. The menu contains (amongst other things) functions. If the function is associated to a menu prompt, then when the user clicks on the prompt (e.g. Change Job) the function is invoked. When the function is invoked, it calls the workflow described in the function call.
The function will already (out of the box) point to a workflow process. If you have customised your own process, you will need to amend the function call to call your workflow name.
Look at the function in question and you will see what I mean.

I am creating a custom OAF page in Inventory responsibility. I have to pass some parameters to execute a query in the page level.
So, I require the Inventory Organization Id i(not org_id or operating unit )n the controller.
I have tried the pageContext.getProfile() method, but i don't knw the profile name.
How can I get the Inventory Organization Id from the page.

Prepare a SQL query to get that warehouse organization id and use Prepared statement to get result of that query.

I'm having a doubt about getting the operating unit info from the front end (i.e) for the given form how can we find which OU is attached to it(For ex. PO form).I dont know the navigation to get the value of the OU from the profile options in the front end.
Can anyone let me know the navigation for this......

I created one profile option in App.Dev responsibility and when i searched for its value, using fnd_profile.value(), its showing null.
Do i need to give any values as default while creating the profile option,coz i tried giving user values also(in edit-- > preferences.......)

Need to get the operating unit name for AP report

I'm really new to XML/BI publisher. I have to customize a oracle report called Payables Posted Payment Register. The package XLA_JELINES_RPT_PKG ties into this report. Upon reading the package it's pretty confusing. Anyway, there is a parameter called P_SECURITY_ID_INT_1 which is the operating unit. I'm trying to display the operation unit in my report but it only returns the operating unit id and I need the name of the operationg unit. So I'm guessing im going to need to grab it somehow in the XLA_JELINES_RPT_PKG. Is this correct? Any suggestions on the best approach?

after time elavualtion use t code PT66, in this t.code double click on the each month(period) then you can get the internal table like ZES, SALDO, ZKO. again double click on the each internal table, you can get the information through the time types. Like , now you want the overtime hours, 0903, 0904 with this time types you can get the each employee no. of. overtime hours.
ZL, ZES, SALDO, TIP entries are internal table , you could not get any results from this table with using se11, se16.
With PT_BAL00 with this report also we can get the overtime hours with the help of time events.

I want to fetch the operating unit name based on the country name, there is no link between fnd_territories(_tl) and hr_all_organization_unis(_tl) tables.
Can any one know how to get this thing.

I don't think you will find such a link. One country can be used by multiple operating units.
