I read about how you can no longer fax after upgrading to Windows 8. I have a couple of my own suggestion that might help!
1. Uninstall the Printer Software
2. Restart the PC
3. Reinstall the driver for Windows 8 here: HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers
Also, try the troubleshooting steps from this guide: Cannot Send or Receive Faxes
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you, such as a replacement or trade in. Restricting the order type to sales area!!!

I want some clarification!!!!
Scenario:
(1)We have two sales areas
1000,10,00 and 1000,20,00.
(2)We have two order types zor and zare both have same Document priicng procedure 'A"
(3)Now the client wants to restrict the order typr zor to one sales area 1000,10,00.The system should not allow to raise an order with 1000,20,00 with combination of ZOR and A.
(4)As the client has raised a number of orders with 1000,10,00 with the combination of ZOR.now if we change the document pp of zor to X .will it effect any other documents.

IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Document Type --> Assign Sales Area to Sales Document Type.
Here, based on Sales Area, it is possible to restrict the Sales Order Type. This will take care of point number (3).
(4)As the client has raised a number of orders with 1000,10,00 with the combination of ZOR.now if we change the document pp of zor to X .will it effect any other documents.
This will depend on copy control settings.

Confirmed quantity more than the ordered quantity in sales order.

Hi All,
We have a situation wherein the confirmed quantity is more than the ordered quantity.
a.) SO was created for qty1.Two schedule lines were proposed as stock was not available.
b.) When stock came in and most probablly, when the rescheduling job calling tcode V_V2 was run, both the schedule lines were confirmed.
c.) As a result, further processing is not done by system as confirmed quantity is more than ordered quantity.
Also we noticed that double schedule line was confirmed for a another order even without the rescheduling job is run.
Can you please suggest as to why this is scenario is occuring and how we can avoid the reoccurence? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to SDN forum
Generally two schedule lines will take place if stock is not available in your plant or if open orders are there for that material also. So check the stock in MMBE
.If there are any backorders then it might be getting added in the created sales order and then you might be getting in two schedule lines

Total of the ordered quantity in sales order

Is there any settings or functionality for the totalling of the order quantity in the sales order as the user requires to see the total number of the units of quantity of order taken and if its less they can still ask for more order from the customer so that the truck is used for its fullest capacity for transport of the materials.

In the standard system up to ERP 5.0 you could use weight and volume for aggregation. Not very useful.
In SAP ERP 5.0, there is a new functionality called "loading units".
Quick copy/paste from the release notes:
As of SAP ECC 5.00, SCM Extension (EA-SCM 500) you can use a loading unit in Dynamic Transportation Planning of the DSD Backend process. A loading unit is an additional capacity limit that limits the maximum delivery quantity of a vehicle. A loading unit is a unit of measure that is independent of the units of measure in order processing.
For aggregation purposes, the delivery quantities are converted into the loading unit using their conversion factor in the material master. The total quantity in the loading unit is calculated in the order and the delivery and displayed together with the aggregation categories. The loading unit is also shown for information purposes in the shipment as the sum of the deliveries contained in the shipment.
It says SCM Extension, but that's not APO, only an extension, so it is part of the standard system. Even if it is part of the DSD Backend, you might think of using it independently of DSD.

Is the order in which a UNION ALL query returns rows guaranteed?

I'm doing a kind of query where I want to return matching rows in a priority order and take the first one. THink of it as getting the most specific error message for a particular context.

I have no sound at all on my Mac Pro. I was watching movies online and also listening to itunes n the weekend, now no sound at all??

e in the weekend, at times with my earphones on. Now for some reason I have no sound at all not just while watching movies but also in itunes.

The order status server is down all the time!!!

I've been trying to check my order status in last couple of days and the server is always down?
Any update on that???

HT201412 Why can't I get my iPad to go past the apple logo? The screen now has crazy lines all over it. Can't restore cause computer doesn't recognize it in device list.

When I was updating iPad 2 to newest iOS I interrupted the update by doing a reset. Now I can't do anything. Won't even show up as device on my computer so I can do a restore. Worked perfectly before I tried to do the update. I thought the update was messing up cause it seemed frozen about 1/4 way on the line that advances when you do an update. I held down home and power buttons for about 10 seconds and now there are colored lines and such moving across the screen. Can't do a restore from backup cause device not recognized. Other iPads are recognized so it's clearly the particular iPad that has the problem. What can I do?

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

Calculate sales tax based on all line items on the order

My users have asked to determin tax on the sales order, based on all the line items on the order. For example, if all the items are for product only, or if all the line items are for labor only, or if there is a mix of product and labor,
Order 1
line 1 product flag as both for vertex
line 2 labor flag as both for vertex
Order 2
line 1 product flag as product only
line 2 product flag as product only
Order 3
line 1 labor flag as labor only
line 2 labor flag as labor only
I do not see away to do this while the order is being created. In the order 1 example above, line one is entered, priced, and taxed as product only (it is the only line on the order at that time and it is product only). Line two is entered, it is marked as both. But I cannot send line item one back through vertex marked as both. Vertex processing is already complete.
I have looked at using both FYTX0001 and FYTX0002. With both of these exits I can only work with a single line item, i.e. once item one is processed it will not go through the exit when item two is added.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Our business is located in California as well. California is a modified-origin state, where state, county, and city taxes are based on the origin of the sale, while district taxes are based on the destination of the sale. You only need to add Sales tax when your customer's billing address is in California. I do not believe that Catalyst currently supports district based sales tax. You could look into a third party solution like TaxJar and see if it could be integrated into Catalyst. We currently charge our California based customers exactly what we would charge them in our retail store.

Rambabu is correct. Check the alternate sales document types which your current sales document type is having in VOV8 transaction. You can have the current sales document type replaced with the assigned alternate sales document type 1 or alternate sales document type 2 during run time in the during creation or change mode subject to the current sales order is not having any subsequent document. Re-pricing will happen accordingly and all the things of order will get redetermined.

I created an album in iPhoto 11 and I have placed photos in a certain order for her graduation party slideshow. I want to place that album or photos on a thumbdrive, but when I do I lose the order I placed them in the folder.

I want to place that album or photos on a thumbdrive, but when I do I lose the order I placed them in the folder. renamed the photos starting with 1 and ending 262. thinking that would save the photos in order. Each time I try to export them that are placed in original folder names and descriptions need help.

This is a two part process. First we title the photos, then we export them, using the title as filename.
To title them
Once you have then in the order you want select them all and go
Photos -> Batch Change. Select set 'Title' to 'Text'
Choose a Title -> Graduation 2013 or whatever, then check the box at 'Append number to each photo.
Now, in the Album all your photos are named... Graduation 001, 002, 003 etc
Next Export them:
File -> Export, and in the Name option, choose 'Title as Filename' and complete the export.

Free goods determined in Delivery over Order Quantity in Sales Order Item

Hi Gurus,
I've a problem about using free goods determination.
First I created free goods master record with following information
ZG1010012060075 From 100 PC -> Free good ZG1040012060075 2 PC
Free goods Category = '2' (Exclusive)
Free goods delivery control = 'E' (Delivery proportional to quantity in main item)
Then I've created Sales Order with
Item 10 ZG1010012060075 4,000 PC.
Item 11 ZG1040012060075(Free good) has been automatically determined for 80 PC
Then I've splitted Item 10 into 4 deliveries. The result of free goods determine in each delivery are as follow:
Delivery#1)
Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
Delivery#2)
Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
Delivery#3)
Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 1,176 PC
Item20 ZG1040012060075 = 24 PC
Delivery#4)
Item10 ZG1010012060075 = 472 PC
item20 ZG1040012060075 = 9 PC
*Remark : Total quantity of 'ZG1040012060075'(free goods) = 92424+24 = 81 PC
(Greater than 80 PC)*
I think the system determined free goods in Delivery#4 correctly due to rounding up. But It might not be over the order quantity in Sales Order Item 11. Even though I've set the item category in delivery with Check overdelivery = 'B' (Situation rejected with an error message), the free goods are determined over order qty. BUT if I change delivery qty in delivery#4 Item20 from 9 PC -> 8 PC -> 9 PC, the error message occurred.
My point is to fix the system not determine free goods in delivery items over order quantity in sales order item.
Has anyone met this situation before? Do you have any idea about this issue?

Thank you for your advice, but it didn't solve my problem.
I would like the system to determine free goods with proportional to main item AND In the last delivery main item delivered completely free goods must be determined equal to remaining open delivery item.

How do I change the order of input tables in joiner?

I have 3 input tables in a JOINER, how can I change the order? for instance, the order now is: t1, t2, t3, for some reason, I want to change to t3, t2,t1.
I use outer join among tables, different table order cause OWB generated different sql statement.

Unfortunately you cannot... The only way is to remove one group, then create a new one instead and re-connect the group...

Rules in Outlook are not processed in the order listed

I have created a new rule today to filter out all email that is not directly sent to me to a folder called "process later" hanging off "Inbox"
Problem is, even thou it is the last rule created, and appears to be at the bottom of the list, this seems to be the first rule that is executed.
In order to fix, I need to go into "process later" folder and run all rules on it.
Is there a way to fix this, w/o trying to re-create all the rules (I have like 40-50).

I have same issue where rules are not processed in the order they are written. All rules are "Client Only". I sort email based on the information contained in the subject line. Some should get filed into sub folders, some in the
parent. So, I have a folder called QA and a sub-folder called QA-Project 1.
#1 rule -- processes subject line looking for QA-Project 1 and puts it in QA-Project 1 folder
#2 rule -- processes subject line looking only QA and puts it in QA folder
Problem is when I run both these rules, the email with subject "QA-Project 1" ends up in the QA folder and not the QA-Project 1 Folder. So the rules are not processing sequentially. Please help.
