If it even has that built-in, you would configure it using Airport Utility. It would likely be in the Wireless configuration for first turning on security and then setting the required password. For Macs you should use WPA Personal if the option is present.

It seems that the oldest of my photos and videos are simply gone and I cannot seem to figure out how to get access to them. Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to get them back? I'm freaked out by the thought that I am paying for what I thought was a safe place for my photos to be stored and accessed later but now see that there are nearly 500 pictures/videos gone from my photostream folder. Photo Stream is not a respository for archiving photos. It is a cloud storage device that will store the last month or last 1000 photos taken by any device on the same Apple ID, and then will "share" those photos with all other devices that have Photo Stream turned on,and that are logged onto the same Apple ID.
iCloud backups will contain all of the photos that were on your camera roll the last time you backed up your device.
If you have photos outside of the Photo Stream parameters, and they are not all on your current camera roll, then you have no way to retrieve them unless you have imported them to the computer you sync with or have uploaded them to some other cloud service like DropBox.

Can anyone tell me how to upload a url to an image onto facebook the way you could with a pc. Recently switched over to Mac and this is one thing I can't seem to figure out. Basically in Windows you could right click on an image, click copy the image url

I've recently switched over to a Mac and before in Windows on a pc if you wanted to post an image on facebook you would right click the image you found on the post you wanted to share, then click copy url. You'd simply take that url and put it into the facebook post when uploading an image and that's all. Can not seem to find a way to do it now, other than saving the image to the computer and then uploading that which is not what I want to do. I've searched and searched but can't seem to find a solution other then posting in Parallels Window.
Any suggestions??

Thanks brody, I had been able to do that but on my business fb page I often post images and put in the links myself in the descriptions. In Windows you're able to post images by simply pasting in the url but on the Mac I'd have to download someone's image which I'm not comfortable doing so I find myself switching back and forth between the Mac and Windows.

Computer hard drive crashed. Need to transfer iPod music to new computer -- how to do this??

My Windows 7 computer crashed, and now I need to transfer my tunes from my iPod Nano to my new computer. I have both purchased songs and songs I uploaded from CD's. Can anyone help tell me how to do this? When I plug in my iPod the iTunes software only shows the songs that I purchased from the iStore, not the ones I uploaded from CD's.

You can't do it without third party software. Do a google search for 'transfer ipod to itunes'. This is the first hit to come up, but there are others.

Can't seem to figure out how to get the signature to work correctly

I am having trouble getting Digital Signatures to work on a PDF. This is the first time that I have ever tried to use them, and the first time that I used Lifecycle to convert a form instead of just building it one field at a time in Acrobat Pro.
In the past, I have gotten several PDF's that required signing. It seemed like an easy process, I clicked on the signature to sign it and then the email button to submit. The first time I did it before I had a signature, it walked me through the process of getting one set up, that was easy too.
Now, I need one, and all of the sudden, it doesn't seem so easy any more.
I have the CS3 Design suite with Acrobat Pro 8.0
I did the layout in InDesign, and the form conversion in Lifecycle. The signature fields were added there automatically, all looked good so far.
I open the file in Reader 9.0 and am unable to add a signature. I made sure that Reader 9.0 knew where my signature file was, but no matter what I do the document sign options are all greyed out.
I opened the form in Acrobat 8 and it will let me sign, but I have to immediately save/as or the signature doesn't take. I have to save it save/as twice because there are two signatures.
I figured there was some rights setting wrong, but can't find it. I have searched for signature, but can't seem to find a post that applies to my problem.
This is driving me crazy. This shouldn't be that difficult. I am missing something here.
Can anybody here shed some light on this?

To enable the form to be signed in Reader you will need to open the form in Acrobat; goto Advanced>Enable Usage Rights and then save this copy of the form for sending out to the users.
The user should then be able to edit and digitally sign the form. They can then email the signed/saved pdf as a browsed for attachment or via the email icon in the toolbar. Note - if you have created an email submit button on the form, then unless they have Acrobat they could only return an xml file.
The other way to do this however is to create a dataset by 'distributing' the form. This time the Email Return button will send back a full version of the form. During the distribution setup you will have the option to email the form directly or to save it and send it later,so you can send to users as and when or even post it to a website or intranet.
When you receive and open the returned form it will ask whether you want to add it to the predetermined dataset (or if you want to categorise the returns into geographical areas for example, you could create new additional datasets at this point). If the form is data heavy however, the dataset will become very large and unwieldy pretty quickly, but you can export the data from it (including signatures) in xml format and import this into an Excel spreadsheet.
To simplify the Excel xml import process I'd recommend you carefully structure your form in the hierarchy (LiveCycle) into the order you would want the data items to appear in your spreadsheet and switch off those data items that you will not need by setting the default binding for the irrelevant fields to "None".

did you try the PlayBack preset/template?
once you open the PlayBack plug-in you just load the tracks from the plug-in's menu.

Mac OS X 10.5 is not and never has been available for download, and neither Snow Leopard, Lion nor Mountain Lion will run on an iBook. But as I said in your other thread on the issue, you can perhaps try iTunes 9.2.1, the last version that would run on Mac OS X 10.4:

That would get you into the iTunes Store, I believe. It won't work with new or recent iPhones, iPods and iPads, though, which require iTunes 10. Since you need 10.5 or later to run iTunes 10, if you must have iTunes 10, then unless you can find a copy of Mac OS X 10.5 at a price you're willing to pay, then you're at a dead end as far as your iBook is concerned.

is there more than one _xmlData.pic.caption node in your xml?
if yes, the following should be tracing more than one caption:

If you want to do a gradient with colors other than the standard BW, you just have to go into the gradient window and double click on one of the markers on the color slider. A color menu should pop up; click on the tiny button in the top right of that menu and change your color mode to RGB. Then you can select your color from there.

Help I my iMessage is offline and I can't seem to figure out how to reactivate it. It shut itself off on it's own and I've tried everything under the sun to reactivate it and nothing is working.
