Thank you, for that. To be sure, I tried your suggestion, and selected "System Proxy" as the choice, for Thunderbird and Firefox. Rebooted, and looked at the outcome.. NO Joy.. :-(
I believe that I shall send the output of the Error Log in my next post. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction after looking at the Error.log.

I initial received the msg that Firefox is still running in the background and won't open. I check the Task Mgr and Firefox was not running. My storage is only 50% utilized. I finally reinstall Firefox and the new msg "Could not initialize the application security component......." come up. I tried rename the cert8 and the secmod files but still receiving the same "Could not.........." msg. Please help and thanks for your time.

Try to rename the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder to cert8.db.old or delete the cert8.db file to remove intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file.
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previous intermediate certificates.
Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send such a certificate.
If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

According to your description, I understand that Outlook client cannot connect to Exchange server 2013 while one member of DAG failed.
If I have misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether all account store in MBX1 experience this issue, users in MBX2 works fine.
Please run following command to double check the database status:
Get-MailboxDatabase –Status | select Name,Mounted,MountedOnServer
If it works in OWA, the issue may be related to Outlook side. Please run “Test E-mail AutoConfiguration” and “Outlook Connection Status” to get more details, expecial the setting of proxy server, it’s more helpful
for further troubleshooting.
Additional, please try to recreate a profile for testing. Besides, please move active DB back to MBX1.

If you have not already done so, now would be a good time to perform a complete network power cycle.......to give everything a fresh start.
Power off every device on the network.....computers, printers, hard drives, etc......in any order that you want
Wait a full minute
Start the modem, and let it run by itself for 2-3 minutes
Start the next device connected to the modem and let it run a full minute
Keep starting devices one at a time about a minute apart until the entire network is back up
Check the network

I don't know how else to say it, the save password does not work even after checking the save password box if I can't get it fixed I'll use some one else

Go to Tools | Options and choose the Security tab from the Options dialog. Check the "Remember passwords for sites" checkbox. Click the Exceptions button to make sure the site you want to remember is not listed.
From that point on, Firefox will record the username and password combination you enter for a site provided it can recognized those fields in the website form. If the username and password are not already recorded for that site, a bar will expand down at the top of the webpage below the page tabs asking you if you want to remember or ignore that new information. Clicking the Remember button will record that information for that site. When you visit that same form again, either the single recorded username and password should automatically appear in the form fields, or a drop-down list of choices will appear when you set the focus to that field. The choices can be filtered by typing the first letters.
If the "Save password" checkbox you mentioned is displayed on the webpage, it is not a part of Firefox and is a function of the webpage of that site, so it does not affect the ability of Firefox to remember usernames and passwords for a particular site.

If your computer is becoming unresponsive, you may want to see if specific applications are causing this behavior. Try using the Force Quit menu to check for unresponsive applications:

Important: Normally you should not need to force quit an app to close it. When an app is forced to quit, any unsaved changes to open documents are not saved, so try these methods to normally close the app first:

TS1398 I have never had a problem with Apple. After the 7.02 update, my Wifi grayed out and would not turn on. Now my Wifi turns on but it will not connect. I even typed in the name and it still won't connect. I have tried all of apple's solutions.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. My Wifi was greyed out and now it's on but won't connect or locate any networks (but if I keep switching it on and off it will freeze on me again). Does Apple have plans to fix this problem because I refuse to purchase a new phone?
Are there any other new solutions to try in fixing the Wifi that doesn't require freezing or heating up the phone or switching to airplane mode and resetting the network settings as well making sure it's up todate or changing the apostrophe in the phone's name? My phone has never been dropped or damaged. Everyone around the world seems to be having this problem and Apple does not seem to be making a move to fix it? ITunes Music Folder will not play from external hardrive after setting the correct path

I've decided to try and create some more space for my music collection and decided to keep my entire iTunes library on a portable external hardrive. I researched how to do so online and was successful at first. I set the correct path from the advanced menu so that iTunes would recognize and save music to the folder on my HD. It worked fine last night, but today when I try and access it I get the, "could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" error message when I try and play a song anywhere in iTunes. I then tried to import the library from my external hardrive and then everything was duplicated. I some how reversed the duplication by using time machine and then redownloading iTunes, which is a riduculous story in itself, but thankfully, I am back at square one.
I have over 24,000 songs with a majority of them rated as well as playlists I do not want to lose. I don't understand why it will not play the songs. Can anyone help me?

If you are going to have the library on an ext HD the transfer the entire iTunes folder. This way you capture all the files - not just the music.
Launch iTunes with the 'option' key down and follow the dialog - tell iTunes to open the iTunes library file on the ext HD and things should be ok.

First and foremost - get out of the habit of using root unless absolutely required. You will not be able to use root in the real world and using it now for this kind of activity will simply introduce wrong habits.
Working as root most of the time ... Bad habit. Bad bad habit. Anyone teaching to log in and stay as root ... shame. In business, auditors will note the habit and user will be reprimanded, up to and including 'go find a new job - you are not the SysAdmin'.
Secondly - you need to understand xhost, and indeed 'display ownership'. When you log in to the Desktop, your screen is 'owned' by a userid. You use xhost (unwisely most of the time) to give permission to others to display on your screen.
Thirdly - you need to understand the influence of DISPLAY variable - it tells programs where they should display... on an authorized display ... such as the one authorized by xhost.
Since you want to do it the wrong way, use the following sequence:
1) Log all the way out of Linux and the desktop (all the way - ensures you don't have screwed up environment)
2) Log in (whatever user you wish - even the bad habit, go stand in the corner, root user)
3) Open a new terminal and give permission to the world to use your screen and get the IP address of the machine. Prior to this xhost command do NOT su (nor set DISPLAY); do not cross Go; do not collect $200
4) Open a new session, preferrably on a different computer (but open new terminal and then 'su - (otheruser)' will do)
5) Under that new user, tell it to display on the IP address and screen from step 3
6) Run xclock
But ... to install Oracle s/w, the 'right way' is to simply log all the way out and then log in to a new desktop as the non-root Oracle owner (on the machine; or using Xming or Xceed or ...; or using VNC client such as UltraVNC or TightVNC)
Did you notice that logging in as root by habit is a bad idea?

I work with a web app that will not run on Firefox, so I changed my default browser back to IE but the URL link continues to open in Firefox. How can I get it to default to IE?

After changing my default browser from Firefox back to IE, other URLs are defaulting to IE but I have one URL that continues to default to Firefox. This web app will only run in IE so the only way I can run it is to open IE first and then enter or select the URL. Is there a setting someplace that will change the default browser for this URL to be IE?

You can make IE the default browser, that will reset some registry keys 
Control Panel > Internet Options: Programs 
Put a check in the box next to 'Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser' 
Start IE and let IE make itself the default browser.
Check the default settings in: 
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > "Set Program Access And Defaults" (on the left) 
Open: Custom (click arrow on the right) 
Select "Internet Explorer" under "Choose a default Web Browser"

I need to take a test for a staffing company. They use Java to administer the test. My Firefox does not see Java even though it is installed in my computer. Neither does the test see Java. Nintendo 3DS not connecting during online games to Macbook Pro or Airport Express Network. Please Help.

I would love to post this question to the Nintendo Support forums, but I'm abroad right now and it seems I am denied from the forums if I try to log in.
My Nintendo 3DS's internet features all work perfectly fine except when it comes down to directly playing a match with other users. For example, Mario Kart 7 will download Spot pass data like normal every day, but everytime I tray to play a match online, the software gives me an error. Same thing when I try to connect with people on Animal Crossing: New Leaf. My previous linksys router back in the states worked fine. The security was WEP I remember. Now I've got myself an Airport express and neither it nor my Macbook Pro (when sharing is turned on) will permit me direct online access to other users like I stated above. I even disabled security and went with an open network for a few minutes and was faced with the same exact problem.
I know this is very specific and mainly involves a none apple product, but I'm just curious what is different about the Apple wireless networks I'm setting up that is preventing me from nothing but direct realtime interactions with other users.
Any advice or knowledge about Apple security or wireless networks would really help me out. There are only so many settings I can tweak in the Airport Express so I'm sure it can't be too difficult, but I don't even know where to start.

I guess it's a problem with NAT (Network Address Translation). My ISP is Vectant Ltd. so maybe I should get a hold of them. If anyone has any work arounds that maybe they used with other game consoles (Xbox Live, PSN), I could really use the suggestion. I really like the Airport express and assumed it would be compatible, but I guess not.
