The ovi map on my phone 6760s does not show street...

I noticed about two weeks ago that the ovi map on my 6760s does not show streets anymore. What it shows is just my location. I have downloaded the latest version believing it will be alright but no avail. Kindly assist because I love this phone alot. Dauda Hammed(Nigeria)

Delete E:\CITIES + .qf file from memory card, run OVI Maps application once to re-define folder structure needed to re-download regional maps with OVI Suite > Maps.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

fingers crossed, it appears they are working the bugs out of this update....i was able to post a pic to my newsfeeds/time line this morning....first the picture went into the ios album but within a minute, it appeared on my timeline! im glad ...

The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. When printing an AutoCAD-exported PDF file, the paper version has lines that screen does not show

Hello,
We were contacted by our customer, a landscape architectural company that uses our product, M-Color, (http://m-color.com) to plot AutoCAD drawings with required preferences and effects.
However, they provided us with a sample PDF files, that contain examples of scanned drawings, that have some "ghost lines" at the drawings that the screen does not show.
We tracked the issue and it appears to be an issue with Adobe Reader pringing. We tried many versions from 8.0 version onwards to the latest versions available in public, all represent the same issue.
This may be an issue of the original drawing having some line that was not marked ending at some point.
The zip file within the link below has three PDF files, two from the company that brought this issue to our awareness and the one with name "scanstation" is printed by me, and then scanned with markings to explain the issue.
Any ideas what would be the best solution to solve this issue?

If you're running iPhoto 8 (09) select the event and look at the Info pane at the lower left hand corner of the window. It will give you the number of photos and size:
for iPhoto 9 (11) open the Event, select all of the photos in it and open the Info drawer at the right by typing Command+i. The number of photos and size will be at the top of the Info drawer.

When using the google translate js api to dynamically translate a webpage the chosen option in a select element does not show up. This happens to me only in FF (using v4)

I am asking you this because I did not find this problem in any of the other browsers I have (chrome, opera, ie, safari).

Notice that if you don’t change the language you have no problem changing the value in the select element (the original one with 3 options, not the one generated by google translate) but if you do when you switch values the selected one does not show up.

1)   When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2)   I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3)   So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. But working in that field gives me the abilty to judge responses that run inside the same vein. Your response was so awesome that I half thought I might have written it myself.

The library module in 4.3 version does not show all the images

The library module in the version 4.3 of Lightroom does not show all the images. They are marked with gray boxes instead of images. This is especially true of the images which I tried to import to Lightroom since I downloaded 4.3 a few weeks ago. If I want to seen an image, I have to go to the develop module to see it. What should I do? Get this fixed now!!!!!!!!

My bet would be on a corrupt preview folder.
Your preview folder is located in the same folder as your catalog. It has the same name as your catalog with the word Previews.LRDATA at the end of the name. Rename this folder and let Lightroom rebuild the previews. Go to Library>Previews>Render Standard-sized Previews. See if that fixes it.

User Property changes show up on the outlook 2013 UI correctly but it does not show up on the MailItem User Properties in Shared Account between PCs Environment

I have written an Outlook Add-In to add several User Properties to our incoming emails. This add-in will be installed in 100 computers in different states and our Exchange server is hosted in our datacenter in CA.
Everything works great but there is an odd thing happens and that is when one PC changes a UserProperty Value all the other PCs show up that change on their outlook UIs but when I get the MailItem object from the same other PC is
not showing the changes. But if I shutdown outlook on that PC and open it up again the changes will be showing up in the MailItem object. It seems to me that MailItem doesn't refresh but UI does.
Does anyone know how I can refresh the MailItem after its UserProperties has been changed from another pc in a shared account environment.

Outlook will not see the latest changes downloaded from Exchange (or changed through MAPI bypassing the Outlook Object Model on the local machine) until the MailItem object is completely released and reopened. The explorer list shows the changes since it
is fed off the underlying folder contents table, not the cached MailItem object.
There is nothing you can unless you make sure the MailItem object is released and is never kept referenced fro any prolonged periods of time.

HT4528 native map app on iphone 4S does not show detail

I have an Iphone 4S and the native Apple map application fails to load the map image. It used to work fine, and now does not. See attached image.
I tried shutting down and restarting. I tried rebooting. I tried upgrading to iOS 6. I tried doing a reset....and it still doesn't work....also, as its the native map app, it's impossible to uninstall and reinstall. Anyone ever come across this?

Check your restrictions.
Note that default apps cannot be deleted and thus will not have an x.

Try a reset ..
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

The Grid Thumbnail view of my files does not show a continuous sequence of my photos. For instance if I am viewing them at the reduced size of a 3x7 grid, there are 3 columns of photos to the right that do not show. That is the grid is 3x10 but only 3x7

Below are 2 screen shots of the Grid Thumbnails. If you compare the 2nd to the first you will notice that there are several pictures showing in the second view that do not show in the first. That is they are cut off. How can I adjust the viewing so the preview shows all the photos with none being cut off?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

When using my LG android phone to download Firefox I get a message stating "The requested item could not be found". And when I try to find it in the android market on my phone it does not come up in the search results.
