The page dont open in the first try

I have to click on the (x) in the addressfield and then click on the arrow (Update page)
When you have opened a page it works fine the next time you open it.
I have updated everything, stopped many programs to start when windows (xp) starts, reset and reinstall Firefox, reinstalled Zone-alarm...i have tried everything and now i´m stuck.
For a couple of years ago i have similar problem, found a solution on internet (about:config) but i cant find a solution this time.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

You can try to press the ESC key to stop loading the page if you see the Stop button instead of the Reload button. You can also reload the page via F5 or Ctrl + F5 (cache bypass).
Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

PDF Embed only works on the first try

Hi everyone,
i've finally got it. The PDF Embed worked on my Reports Server.
But a strange thing is happening.
When I start the Reports Server and run the report for the first time everything works just fine, but when I try to run the report again i receive the following error:
REP-1923: PDF Font Embed error
The report doesn't works again until I stop and restart the Reports Server. And again after i run the report for the first time it doesn't works anymore until new restart.
I'm using Oracle 9iAS (9.0.2.1) with 2703110 and 2842923 patches installed.
The system is Red Hat Linux 7.3.
The uifont.ali file:

IPhone 4S is on, but not goes to voicemail on the first try

Dear Community,
My wife's iphone 4s always goes to the voicemail the first time you try to call her.
We change provider 2 times, the second time in another country and it still happens.
After you call her right away again, it will ring normaly.
Hopefully someone can help as it now seems to everyone her phone isn't working.

It is fixed, seemed to be the not disturb feature.
In case anyone has the same problem.
If you call within 3 minutes it will go through else will block the call.
The ones that are in favourite can still call.

[SOLVED] Gnome login hangs on the first try

Since this past weekend, when I try to log into gnome, it accepts my password and greys out the password entry box, but just sits there forever. If I hit escape it aborts properly, and the second try always works. Where should I be looking to see what's going wrong the first time?
I'm also having another, more serious problem that may be related: whenever the "Authentication Required" window pops up for a settings change or mounting another disk, it gives me the same greyed-out hang. But trying again doesn't work, since cancelling it cancels the attempt altogether - the next try just hangs again. As it is I can only do any root operations through the command-line; gnome is totally neutered by this. So -- what is this gksu-like functionality of gnome 3 properly called, and how do I debug it? Does it have a log somewhere I should look for?

I've restarted polkitd on the command-line without --no-debug, and it shows NO relevant information at all. After cancelling the grayed-out dialog, I get:

But there's nothing from when I entered my password and the graying-out began.
Interestingly, when I used --replace to replace the polkitd that systemd had started for me, I got only command-line auth (gnome wouldn't launch the dialog at all, and "pkexec echo hi" gave me a command-line password prompt), which actually worked. But when first stopping the systemd version, then running it again manually, I got the above result.

Page won't load on first try -- but stop then reload works

Several pages, most notably my.yahoo.com and worldofwar.net won't load on the first attempt. Eventually I get a timeout error. But while the load is trying, if I stop loading manually, then reload, the page finishes loading. It's then fine, until the next wake up after sleep, and it starts all over again.
I'm also noticing something similar with mail. When I send mail, it goes into the outgoing folder and I get an error that the message couldn't be sent. But if I exit mail and restart it, the pending message is sent without my having to do anything other than restart mail.
Any clues what to look for? This only began to happen after I moved. The only difference in my configuration is that I'm using a new DSL modem and dynamic IP address from my ISP now, where I was using a static address before with an older model modem.
I've checked the console logs, before/during/after observing the problem, and no new entries are made.

Hello, I have windows vista, When I start up firefox, it does not respond. I end up starting it up 3-4 times then it eventually opens with 3-4 tabs open to my home page. It will never startup on the first try.

firefox does not reponde on initial startup. I have updated everything.

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for jzip via the Filter at the top of the about:config page. 
You can reset all jzip related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.

Aniweather- the first try didn't take - the second try did - now whenever I open Mozilla a window comes up 2 times saying the add-on didn't take - annoying and slows up getting on site - thanks

I have a powerbook G-4 15 inch, It wont boot up and the display only works on the first try. it gets to the apple screen and freezes, when i try to restart theres no display. Help please, whats the issue here?

Text messages often don't send to other iphones on the first try

When I try to send a text message to a fellow Iphone user, it says it's sending but does not fully send. The bar stops just short. Later, it will say message failure and I will retry and that usually works. I don't understand why it does that. I also do not get text messages from Iphone users sometimes. It is very odd. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Same problem since last night! What I didn't realize is that I was also not receiving texts and phonecalls. I wish I could tell you why or how to fix it. I just looked through every setting and all seemed normal. I turned the iPhone off then back on and everything came pouring in. This can't be the big solution though as I did that several times last night with no result.
I did notice it said 'searching 3G' at the top when attempting to send texts. I updated half of my apps the other day and wonder if that was the casue. My carrier is Rogers, but others in my home, with iPhones and a BB were not having any issues.

Pages will not load on first try

Ever since the last Windows update (yesterday) I am having frequent trouble loading web pages.
More often than not, I get a page saying the page is cannot be found. Clicking on the "try again" button causes the page to load normally.
In addition, on one page I got that same message within a site (part of the site would not display) and reloading the page resolved the issue.
I restarted the computer but it was no help.

Yes I have encountered this problem as well, however when I'm on WiFi it's fine.
Anyone else experienced this ?
