Is The parallax scroll effect possible in muse?
If not, I would love to see this in a future upgrade

There is no parallax feature in Muse right now. Feel free to vote up the idea in the Ideas forum:

  • My webpage with parallax scroll effects flickers in internet explorer 11. How can I fix this?

My webpage with parallax scroll effects flickers in internet explorer 11, when using the mouse wheel or the arrows in the scroll bar - Parcerias | Agrupamentos de Escolas | EEA | DGE
It works fine in firefox, chrome and safari.
    How can I fix this?
    Thank you

    Hi FilipaG,
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. This is a performance issue with IE 11, so the only current way to make the site less jittery is to have fewer effects or group objects with the same effect then apply the motion to the group. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can also post in our feature requests section how you'd like to see easing added to Muse, because that would move all of the objects together much more smoothly than they do currently. Chrome and Firefox in particular have great built in easing so these sites usually look better on them.
    Thanks,

  • Parallax scrolling effect

Does anybody know how I can achieve the effect below with parallax scrolling in Adobe Muse? In the example below there is one illustrated image and another photograph, and when scrolling it looks like the illustration is being colored.

Please check out the Browser Fill section of the Scroll Effects article from below link.

Here is what I managed in Muse playing around with the same: http://colorfill.businesscatalyst.com/index.html

  • Adding Parallax Scrolling Effect to Adobe Muse

Just want this effect in Adobe muse, I think it will be great to have this option!
I hope the Adobe team may this possible in a better and easy way to add it to our designs.

Cool stuff, shame it isn't available in latest update of Muse. The effects panel only has 3 options: Shadows, Bevel an Glow.
    Why, Adobe?
It's like showing candy to kids, and then taking it away from them again

  • Responsive Design with Parallax Scrolling

    Hello!
I have read tons of articles and done many tutorials on the parallax scrolling effects available in Muse. However, I need tips on how to make your designs as repsonsive/fool proof as possible for different screen sizes. When I view some of my sites on a very large screen, I don't like all the blank space that appears when you have the secondary section set up with parallax scrolling effects.
It really helped me to see the ParallaxFX file that Adobe put out. While I can now execute most of the effects, I still feel that my web designs are not safe for the wide variety of screen sizes out there.
    http://journey.lifeofpimovie.com/#!/waves
Here is a site that appears to work on all browsers. No matter what size your screen is, and no matter how much you zoom in and out, the integrity of the design is still preserved.
    Thoughts?
    -Carolyn

    Hi
You can use pinning, 100% wide rectangles and text frames, inline images, fullscreen slideshows, etc to achieve partial responsiveness.
Basically use the key features in a way so that it shows the similar effect.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Newbie question - Parallax scrolling a logo to the right

    Hi there,
I am trying to design my new site using Muse.
I would like my logo to appear center, top of browser but as the user scrolls down the page I would like the logo to move out of the way to the top right of the browser.
What I have done is create a retangle the size of the logo and placed center but the scrolling happens within the retangle.
Can someone direct me on how to do this?
    Thanks in advance.

It seems you have been playing around with the Scroll Effects available for the Fill option.
Try using the Scroll Effects panel on the right to work with the object instead. You may need to disable the Fill scroll effects first.

  • Best tool for jarallax parallax scrolling

I want to create jarallax / parallax scrolling effect. I doesn't know hard core coding so would like to know which is the best tool to work with Adobe dreamweaver, Adobe Muse or Adobe Edge?

Unfortunately true parallax scrolling with easing in not easily done like what a Adobe is trying to promote with their motion scroll effects in Muse. It needs to be done with jQuery and CSS3. Take a look at this site www.boy-coy.com. That site uses TRUE parallax effect. It's not achievable in Muse but you can use Dreamweaver to make your own code.

  • Parallax scrolling for phone layouts

I think the parallax scrolling should be available especially for mobile phone designs, as these need to have all content vertically. Scrolling with the finger is also much more intuitiv than with a mouse, so this effect would give some playful interest to the website on a mobile device.

So weird that you dont get the problem when taping on a menu button. Still, that anchor thing may be the problem cause now that I remeber anchirs where a little bit to the left out of the effective area, so that could be the problem. I'm gonna try changing that and report results.
    Thanks so much triquita.

  • How to Parallax Scrolling to adobe muse ?

I am starting working with adobe muse these days and i really liked the  Parallax Scrolling. BUt my muse is not showing it in effect option. Please help me out how i can include that feature in my muse.
    Thanks

As Syrax12 pointed out, Parallax Scrolling has moved from the Effects panel to the Scroll Effects panel. Some of the videos from June 2013 refer to the old location under the Effects panel.
Here's how you find the new panel. http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/tutorials/scroll-effects.html#Applying motion scroll effects using the Scroll Effects panel

  • Parallax scrolling question.

I am new to the parallax scrolling so if this sounds like a stupid question or that I am thinking of this wrong please forgive. Ok say I have a box that comes in and stops at a point as I scroll down but at another point further down the page I want it to move again and again and so on. How would I do such a thing?

Currently their is no way for you to stop an image and then have it restart its scrolling effect :-/ you could probably achieve something similar by using multiple images but that just gets messy and adds to longer loadtimes.

  • Parallax Scrolling and HiDPI in Adobe MUSE

    Hi all,
I have a small problem. I've upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Muse and enabled on my latest project the HiDPI feature. I've now found that when I replace the pictures linked to my parallax scrolling effect, the pictures are not the correct size anymore. They shrink in size and start to tile. I even tried to use a super-size the pictures and still nothing. Is this a known issue?? Is there are way around it or is there something I'm missing and need to change.
    Many thanks,
    Thomas

Hi Zak, There is nothing on the page yet expect a small .svg logo, two 100% width rectangles beneath the browser bottom guide, two anchors and a widget from MuseResource.com for magnetic scrolling between anchors.

  • Make a parallax scrolling object disappear?

I've been messing around with parallax scrolling and I'm at a point where I want to make the scrolling object disappear. So far the only way to make it vanish is to let it scroll off the edge of the page by default or to adjust the Opacity Scroll Effect to make it "fade". However, I'd like to have the object give the illusion that it's going inside/behind a stationary object on the page. The only thing I can think of is defining a viewport or something of the sort, but I don't know if that's possible in Muse. Anybody have any suggestions to create this illusion?

    Hi
Using fading effect is the correct approach to the purpose you are after disappearing an object with scroll.
Regarding the illusion that you want to create will be somewhat manual , where you have to use 2 identical scroll items . One starts scrolling normal as you have mentioned above and then disappears , other one starts scrolling on behind the page object on same time when previous identical object has disappeared. A bit tricky but you will have to specify the key position of both identical items such as way that one fades in and another fades out. This way it would be exact same effect.
You can give it a try.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Managing Parallax Scrolling?

    Managing Parallax Scrolling?
I’ve had a chance to create some cool scrolling effects with the Parallax scrolling options in Muse, but my work space (artboard?) turns into a giant mess. I’m assuming I’m doing something wrong, or not properly setting things up.
For example, once I start some modest scrolling effects near the top of the page everything then needs to have some kind of scrolling property set to it so everything starts lining up correctly on the live page. Am I missing something here or do you really have to apply scrolling effects to pretty much everything to compensate for other scrolling effects? I end up with things in odd places on my Muse artboard to make everything like fine live.
How do you guys keep your parallax scrolling clean, or don’t you?
    Thanks!

    Hi Tait
This actually depends on the scroll position , speed and movement that you define with scroll effect settings.
In your case, it seems you are planning to scroll different page elements starting with split positions and then all in straight line and vice versa on page upward.
Things to take note here is the scroll position, as the speed will work according to the distance of scroll that you define on page with scroll position.
Basically there is no outline as how this can be designed , but the points i have mentioned can help you while you are creating the scroll effect on different page elements.
