I go to sites that I have gone to in the past week and I don't get the name password insert that FF use to do, their screen is the same , I go into the options and look for the site and it's gone.
Did you ever use "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of a history item?

When trying to update Apps in iTunes on my computer my old Apple ID appears, which is no longer in use and has no password; even when I try to create a password for this Old ID, Apple won't let me. When I go into see my Account settings My new Apple ID / iTunes ID are listed and the passwords are correct obviously so why can't I update my Apps? Why does my Old apple ID keep appearing and how can I get Apple to change this?
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -
how can I reset my iPad YouTube password? I can't sign into youtube on iPad. It says Username or password is wrong although both are correct when I log into YouTube account via Google. I also tried my husbands youtube login and password and the same outcome. Now I cant log into YouTube via the iPad account. I can log into Youtube via Google however my subscriptions and favorites are all gone. Can I reset the YouTube account located on the iPad? I cant seem to reset the password or delete the app and re-add. I dont want to reset the iPad since I have alot of videos and pictures on it.
Do you have Google 2 stage authentication turned on?
If so, you wont't be able to use your normal google password, but will have to instead generate an "application specific" password for the iPad YouTube app in the google security settings section. -

When you log out or shut down, there will be a checkbox that asks you if you want to reopen windows when you log in. Just uncheck this box. If that isn't it, you may have login items turned on. Go to System Preferences>Users and Groups and then under your name click the Login Itens tab. Make sure nothing is there.
If you want to stop windows from restoring when you open applications (so for example when you open Safari it doesn't open the 50 tab page you just had open when you quit) go to SystemPreferences>General and then hit the checkbox that says Close windows when quitting an application. -
My extensions preferences changes are gone when I change the theme after I reboot my pc
If I want to change the preferences of my extensions and the theme of the browser (wether it's a Persona or a custom theme) everything is all right. But if I reboot, my changes are gone. It doesn't happen if I don't change the theme.

Thanks in advance!I think I just resolved my issue. I exited Firefox, then deleted the places.sqlite file then restarted Firefox 4. My bookmarks immediately appeared.

I'm trying to export from Motion 5 with an alpha channel, but in FCP X the alpha is gone. What do I do?
if you're exporting video animation out of Motion and you need transparency, then you need to make sure that the codec used is ProRes 4444. There are no other options. From the Share > Export dialog, the default Export option is usually "Same as Source." In Motion, that *should* be PR4x4. You can double check that setting by clicking the summary button and reading the last line.
You also need to make sure under the Render section that Color + Alpha is selected (that should also be the default setting.)
However, most of all, you're really wasting your time going about it this way. If you started a Title project in Motion, all you have to do is Save and give the project a Name; pick a category or create a new one. In FCPX, in the Titles browser, look for the category you used and find the project name and drag it onto the storyline.
You have the option of picking parameters in your motion project that you can "publish" to FCPX (things like the lower third background color, text color, positioning, etc... almost every parameter is publishable to FCPX allowing you to customize the project *inside* FCPX.) Any parameter you publish in Motion will be in the Title Inspector in FCPX. You do not have to "bake" your lower third in Motion before using it in FCPX. You can pretty much turn your project into an FCPX plugin.
If you didn't start a Title project, you can still build your lower third as an FCPX Generator. Go to the File menu and Publish Template... In the dialog box, make sure you check Publish As Final Cut Generator. Give the project a Name and select a category (you'll need to wait a few seconds until the Categories update to the FCPX categories...) You can create a custom category if you like and save the project. In FCPX, instead of the Titles browser, look for your template/plugin in the Generators > WhateverCategory > YourLowerThird. -

The days are gone when a customer service manager could actually serve the customer.
I can remember a day when asking to "speak to a manager" actually meant you were talking to someone who the company entrusted the authority to think outside box and take care of a customer. AT&T has created a system where there is no real authority. My issue? I signed up for the next plan and selected a Galaxy S6 Edge. After about a week I was really struggling with the phone and went to AT&T to talk to an expert. They helped me with a few of my issues but I learned that the real issue was touchwiz. Coming from an LG phone I didn't like some of Samsung's ideas of how a UI should work. They talked me into sticking with it because the phone was the best. After more time (maybe a week) I went back. I had issues with my hands being too big for the phone. I kept touching the edge of the screen inadvertently. Again, I was talked into sticking with it. After a month, I was done. I took my pristine phone back to AT&T with all the original packing. It had been in a case and had a screen protector installed since day one. I found out that I had kept it past the 14 day window and that I was stuck. I thought if I spoke to a manager they would hear my case and rule in my favor. This was to no avail. I contacted the support found through their website. No one could help. They were all powerless. Even after hearing my plight they couldn’t do anything. They “System” would not allow it. At the store they suggested I sell my phone and buy a different one. So, I found an LG G4 and loaded my SIM. Now, I am trying to sell my S6 and no one wants it because it is not “unlocked.” Wow, now I have a phone that I can’t sell. You would think that AT&T would help a person out who their own people encouraged to keep with a product they didn’t like. You would think that AT&T would step up and do something special for a long time customer like myself. R.I.P. Customer Service.
You can easily unlock the phone. Send the request through the unlock portal.
I recently unlocked 2 of my phones. After I confirmed the email and got the code, I went to a T-Mobile and explained I was unlocking my ATT phones so I could use them out of the country. They were great, popped in a sim, entered the code, done in 3 minutes.

Triggers are gone when updates the view they are on?
I found that when I updated a view, all the triggers on this view were dropped.
Is this supposed to be or I did something wrong?To answer the second part of your question, triggers on tables are not dropped if you modify the tables, unlike when you modify views. However, if you modify the table in such a way that it invalidates the trigger, the trigger becomes invalid, but not dropped. Please see the example below.

All paths are deleted when saving as jpeg
This problem has been migrating and now is affecting all of my files.
When I save an image as a jpeg from the "Save As" dropdown menu (NOT save for web) all of my paths are gone when the image is repoened.

I was also having the same problem, some JPEG lost its path after saving....
My situation was, when i made a selection and convert it to work path with tolerance 0.5px and save the path. After that, saved it as another name but it still lost its all paths. I tried to increase the tolerance to 1px and then save it again, this time all the path still remained. we have to guess the tolerance where the path will not lost. I think this is not the case that affect the losing of the paths. After reading all the above posts, i guess it is related to Extensis Fusion plug in problem. I tried to remove away from photoshop plug in folder and tried with the image that caused the losing path, this time i had successfully save the work path no matter what tolerance was given.

Firefox is suddenly not remembering or filling in any of my passwords. All of the appropriate boxes are checked in the options/security tab, but it won't remember any passwords and shows none saved. How do I get it to remember and fill in my passwords again?
Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie that you must allow: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Cookies' and the 'Site Preferences'.
Make sure that you not run Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode.
In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and some features like visited links and others are disabled and not working.
You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing".

Why can't I reset the master password with the option of removing all username:passwords by unchecking "Use Master Password"? Currently, there seems to only be the option to issue a "chrome:" command in URL which DOES reset the master password. However, it was something that I had to google. The intuitive option would be to uncheck the "Use Master Password" checkbox, receive a verification dialogue, and blammo, password reset. Please make this a feature, thank you.

Sorry, for being unclear. Essentially this is a feature request for an option under Firefox options (why not?) to reset my Master Password not knowing the Master Password. For Security reasons I understand why all the saved passwords have to be wiped, but wiping the Master Password (having forgotten it) should be an option without having to issue an arcane command that one has to google to figure out. -

Time Machine in OS X Lion includes a new feature called "local snapshots" that keeps copies of files you create, modify or delete on your internal disk. Local snapshots compliment regular Time Machine backups (that are stored on your external disk or Time Capsule) giving you a "safety net" for times when you might be away from your external backup disk or Time Capsule and accidentally delete a file.
So what makes a notebook any different then a desktop, other then with a desktop you might have your tm backup drive connected all the time.
The object here is to not indiscriminately delete files you need or want to keep. I personally have never deleted a file I wanted to keep.
In essence a backup is for catastrophic failure of your system. So it can be restored once that failure has been fixed. Not because you go in willy nilly and start deleting files. -
My password list no longer appears under the options menu, How do I get it back?
The password manager that used to appear under the options menu has completely disappeared. The little lock icon is also nowhere to be found. Does this have something to do with blur? How do I restore my browser the way it used to be so that I can review my list of stored passwrds? I've tried to look in blur to see if they are there - no luck. I'm not sure how the long the problem has existed. I happened to notice just now when a site that normally remembers my log in (a credit card that I make a payment on each month) failed to display it and of course I couldn't remember, not having actually typed it in for years.

For the past few weeks, I have noticed that passwords on many different websites are not being saved. I literally have to log back into each page every 15 minutes or so. Is this the result of a bad software update? Have an appointment at the Genius Bar tomorrow but if this can be resolved without going in, it would be preferred.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
