The PDF to Excel converter does not work on the reports I need to convert so I need to cancel my order
I just purchased Export PDF but when I tried it I got a message that it doesn't work on the PDF I need to convert. I need to cancel my order and not be charged.

You need 2 apple ids and you have to sign in and out with the two ids.
Note: Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
Or only use one apple id in one country. -
I just installed Adobe CreatePDF desktop printer on a Windows 7 home PC. When I try to use from Word or EWxcel, it does not print. The Adobe print device queue reports an "error" in the status column.
Adobe retired this Feb 17, 2014.
This app sent content to and got content from the web based services of "CreatPDF" and "PDF Pack".
These are subscription services out in "the cloud". When the app was live you had to be online and signed into your account. The user forum for CreatePDF has a DOC that speaks to the app removal.

TS2446 how do I contact Apple support? the phone number in UK does not work and the website loops
I can't reset my security questions - it tells me they've sent the email to reset but no email arrives... the support system loops all over the place and takes you back to where you start in the end - with no help ANYWHERE. I looked up the Apple number for the UK and when it rings, it does so only once - then nothing. I need my account unlocked and the ability to purchase items from itunes store with the gift cards I received.

OK - I looked at the manual & see they made it major project. Instead of simply assigning tel numbers to each of the dialing digits, you have to build a directory record first, then you can assign the directory record to a dialing digit.
Looks like the simple part is using it - just press and hold the digit to dial the whole number.
So, it will take 40 minutes or so to break down the steps in understandable prose. It is too late to start now & i have a vet appointment in the am. All day is kind of full. But, I will try to do it tomorrow (thurs the 18th)Seemed like there should be a speed dial, so I did a search & found the cure is worse than the disease -

Ralink RT5390 Does Not Work on the UEK Kernel
We installed OL6.3 and Ubuntu 12.04 on a new Asus X45A notebook. It has a Ralink RT5390 wireless card. With Ubuntu, both wifi and video work flawlessly. However, the wifi driver (from elrepo) does not work for the the uek kernel (2.6.39). While the wifi driver works when boot into the RHEL kernel (2.6.32), it created an "even bigger problem" in that the video starts at about 1/10 from the left edge of the screen.
As a result, we can only boot into Ubuntu on this new notebook, but we would like to use the uek kernel. Any suggestion will be appreciated.Dude wrote:

You mean an image such as a scanned document?
If that is the case, the file doesn't contain any text for Reader Out Loud to read. In order to fix that, you would need an application such as Adobe Acrobat that does Optical Character Recognition to convert the images to actual text.
You can also try to export the file as a Word document or something else using ExportPDF which I believe offers OCR and is cheaper than Acrobat. -
The scroll function from the pad/mouse does not work for the other tabs when a PDF file is opened.

Have you checked to see if your PDF add-on is up to date? You should take a look at the [[Opening PDF files within Firefox]] Knowledge Base article. There is a lot of good information in there. You should try both of the suggested PDF add-ons to see if that fixes the issue.

I use OverDrive to get audiobooks from my library to listen on my ipod. Does not work since latest update of ipod. Converts the WMA and acts like it is putting it on the ipod but then it isn't there.

Tap on the event to open the event. Click the 'Edit' button in the event bubble, then press the 'Delete Event' button at the bottom of the Edit pop-up. It's a little different for events that come through Microsoft Exchange, you tap the event to bring up bubble and click the 'Details' button, and then press 'Decline' to remove the event.

No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

I have seral email accounts on my Mac. One does not work on the Mac but works on my iPad and iPhone. The account information was added on the Mac. I keeps rejecting my password.
You don't input the information in manually for iCloud mail. It is automatically set up for you when you sign into iCloud via System Preferences and choose the Mail checkbox. Sign out of iCloud or deselect Mail in iCloud preferences. Open Mail's preferences and choose accounts tab. If iCloud account still exists in the list, delete it. Sign back into iCloud or check the box for mail. The account will be auto created for you.

Android orientation lock does not work within the ADPS App

and another Android App Bug for today. The Android orientation lock feature does not work in Apps created with ADPS. If orientation lock is enabled and I turn the tablet, the orientation off the ADPS Apps will turn with the tablet.
My Test Tablet is an Acer IconiaTab A510 with Android 4.0.3

YvesWhen you say that the orientation lock doesn't work, we have no way of knowing if that means that the screen is locked in one position only, or that it will not lock in one position only. So try something g very basi and reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
In the camera app, you have to swipe up and down on the screen to move between photo, video and the square photo mode options, so are you even in the correct mode to take videos? -
