The pictures that I take with my 5s can't be used as background

When I take a pic on my new 5s and try to use it as a background, the pics are too large and much of the picture is off the screen. I have tried to resize it but i needed MS windows to do that. If I need to resize it, can I do that right on the phone? This is very frustrating.

It has something to do with the parallax effect. To turn that off and see if it fits go to settings->accessibility->reduce motion and then add the pic to the wallpaper and see if that helps.

The restore from backup will restore the pictures you took with the iPod up to the time the backup was made. Any pictures taken after the the backup was made will be lost.

anyway i got both "camera" and "DCIM" folders in my internal mem.Both are visible even from my N900.This happened after PR 1.3. It just freak me out sometimes. lol.

ok...so if i use the integrated file manager, i only see Camera and no DCIM....
but...
if i use filebox (with root access) then i only see DCIM, and not camera.
wierd, i know....and now that we have fully confused this poor chap....lol...it is the same folder. not sure why you have two unless you may have accidently copied the DCIM from the card to the MyDocs. surely your new pictures, if the emmc is selected, are going into the camera folder on the MyDocs as that is what is coded.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

You can't sync or drag your non iTMS music back directly from an iPod to iTunes. The transfer of non iTMS content is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod to discourage it's use as a device for mass file sharing. However there is a manual (free) method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes

Why does the pictures that have an effect turns back to normal when I open it?

When I open the pictures that has an effect it turns back on being a normal photo. Does it means that my phone has a virus?

No you can't get any viruses. I take it's the default camera app that came with the phone that's not saving the applied filters before the photo is taken? Are you opening these photos in the Photos app on your phone or after downloading them on your computer?

No such thing has occurred. iPhones do not backup to one another.
It is not possible to backup a different iPhone from the one being updated.
If the iPhone was restored with a backup from a different device, restore it again from the correct backup.

You should have imported all pics taken with your iphone to your computer regularly as with any digital camera.

When Software Update says I have apps to update, it will not let ne update the ones that came installed with my macbook air, OS 10.8.2. App stare says to login as the user who originally purchased, yet I am logged in as that user. Have tried loggin out and back in but that does not work. Any ideas?

This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
