The pop-up dialog box, such as on Facebook, is truncated. It chops off the command buttons.
The pop-up dialog boxes, such as those on Facebook, are truncated. The boxes are 1/2 of normal size with the bottom 1/2 gone, including the command buttons, making it useless. Since yesterday evening, ALL dialog boxes on Facebook and Zynga are affected. I can't post anything from the pop-up boxes.

I read on article i.e to create new pop up dialog box. We have to use launchListener"#{backing_bean.handleLaunch}" to pass parameter to corresponding pop up dialog box.
Anyway I tried to do the same job declaratively by using setActionListener instead of launchListener. The pop up dialog box gets the passed parameter using EL #{prossesScope.param} And it works.
Is this fine technique or not recommended at all?

its fine as well. As soon as the dialog is opened the process scope becomes accessible. With multiple parameters you will however find it more convenient to use the launch listener as describe in

because a setActionListener can only set one parameter at a time

I just statred Flash CC for the first time and it seems that the text within the pop-up window (dialog box) is mis-aligned and not allowing me access to the command buttons, nor all the text. (ie: the NEW Template Box, can't see but 2/3 of the content) is there a fix to this problem? using 8.1, Monitor is a high res.2560x1440.

I click the "Tools" tab, then click the "Add-ons" tab. If I then click anywhere on the "Add-ons" dialog box, the dialog box immediately closes. I can't install plug-ins or add-ons. However, this happens only with my account. Other users have no such problem. I have also tried going to the "Add-ons" dialogue box through "Tools" then "Options." I still cannot get into the "Add-ons" tab; the dialog box closes. I have tried using the keyboard instead of the mouse; same problem.

How come the "save as" dialog box keeps popping up whenever I try to use alt codes?
I type with diacritical marks regularly but recently, when I press and hold Fn + Alt + the numerical code, it brings up the "save as" dialog box. This seems to be a Firefox-specific issue because this doesn't happen on Microsoft Word + other programs. I am wondering how to disable this "save as" dialog box shortcut, or how to just get the alt codes to work.

Excel is throwing error when it click print : 'No printers are installed. To install a printer click the File tab, and then click Print. Click No Printers Installed, and then click Add Printer. Follow the instructions in the Add Printer dialog box'

Steps to recreate
(i) Create new user account and add to any group ( do not log on using this
account)
(ii) runas /user:<new user account> <fullpath>\excel.exe
it will ask password so enter on command prompt
(iii) open any excel document and click File->Print
(iv) verify result (it is failing) it pop ups below error

I have a default set excel is still throwing error. Interestingly winword , powerpoint and publisher are working fine. I am able to print from all office applications except Excel.
Probably excel behaves differently from other office applications.
Probably it is a bug in excel
Workaround : Log on to a system once using newly created account then runas excel using this account then print works fine.
It means something in user profile should be configure to run excel print operation. Could you please somebody help what I need to configure in user profile that makes print operation success? -
FF 7.0.1 on MacOSX 10.6.8 (not this machine!): I sometimes get the "unresponsive script" dialog box jammed into the top left corner of the screen so that only a quarter of it is visible.

You may want to open an MS Connect item asking to add such a feature.
I can tell you it may not be implemented because a package may be opened on different size monitors.

I’m using an iMac running Os X Yosemite, Photoshop CS5 Extended, R2880 Epson printer In the Print Settings dialog box, I can’t select Color, Advanced BW or Grayscale unless I select “Printer Manages Color”. The pull down menu is grayed out. Even with “printer manages color” the tif or jpg image comes out in color overlaid with black. (See example - printer1. image on left is close to what it should be). Photoshop has no updates pending. I’ve downloaded the latest Epson driver which was working fine just before the problem occurred
Is your Photoshop CS5 updated to 12.1?
Are you on Yosemite 10.10.1 or Yosemite 10.10.2?
Did you apply the recent Epson software 2.1.9 update?
What type of file is it (file format)? What bit depth and what color space?

I would like to use the windows explorer open dialog box instead of the adobe open dialog box. How can I change that?
The top screenshot is the Windows Open dialog box. All File > Open... commands in all Windows programs bring it up. Try File > Open in Notepad for example.
It belongs to Windows not Adobe. You cannot change this because there is no such thing as an Adobe Open dialog box.
The bottom screenshot is Windows Explorer. It is Windows' OS File Browser, not an Open dialog. It is not called up by Photoshop or any Windows program.
You have to click on "My Computer" or a Folder icon to get to it. You can double-click a psd, jpeg or other image file in the Explorer window so that it opens in Photoshop.

Photoshop CS5 pop-ups (Dialog boxes) will not stay / stick in place
My pop-up / dialog boxes have always opened in the same place as I had placed them from the previous time I had used them. All of a sudden they will no longer stick / stay, they open in the center of the page.
For example when I first open PS and I click Ctrl > C for Brightness / Contrast the box will open in the center of the page. If I move it to the side (so its not in the working area) it should open in that spot the next time I use it.
But now it will always open in the center of the page regardless of where I have placed it before. Very annoying it have to move the dialog boxes all the time.What OS are you running?
I know of no way Windows can cause that, but I don't know about OS X.
If you can't find a direct solution, it might be a case where a complete Photoshop preferences reset to defaults could help... Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously (or Command - Shift - Option if on a Mac) immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

Pop-up dialog box when using SPROXY t.code in ECC 6.0

I have a ECC 5.0 that I am trying to connect to my XI 7.0 box for development.
When I use transaction code SPROXY in my ECC 6.0 box - I get a dialog box titled 'Enter your username and id' - with a subtitle - Resource Rep and asking me for userid and password
My SLDCHECK works fine with accesses to SLD and exchange file of my XI box from ECC 6.0. I don't have any RFC destination like ESR*PROXY . My RFC destination LCRSAPRFC tests ok.
Why am I still get this popup ? When I try executing SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS - I get the same popup dialog box .

How can I Create custom pop up dialog box with question/answer
I need to create a pop up dialog box that asks a question and accepts an answer input. The form needs to be able to be emailed out (not server based) Can someone help me do this? I am a designer, with very (Very!) limited coding skills. Looks like the windjack program that I keep running into does not work with Acrobat X.

I would have done the page completely differently - instead of slicing it up into a vastly complex table, I'd have added the image to the page and then used an imagemap. When I attempt to access my IRA account on line, I get a message saying that the web site requires a client certificate. The certificates listed in the drop down dialog box don't get accepted, even though one is indicated as valid and good until October 2014. I contacted the IRA account managment company and they sais it's an Apple issue. Any ideas?
Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.

Is there a way to move an application's pop up (dialog box) with a keyboard command/shortcut? I had a situation where I was not connected to my 2nd monitor and an application popup box was opening on that 2nd (*not connected*) monitor.
