The preview display is Incorrect in pdf for Disclosure management

I am trying to create a report with formatting in disclosure management. I have created the chapters and gave the content type as word document. When i create overall report from DM interface and look at the preview in word and pdf, word is displaying fine but in PDF the format looking distorted and displaying incorrectly.
Any input is appreciated.

I am having an issue with preview. PDF and Word are different:
- Word - rounded edges charts
- PDF square edged charts
Do you have any idea why that might be the case?

Need to change the Certificate in ACE that is using for HTTPS Management access

Dear Team,
Currently we are getting certificate cannot be trusted error in web browser while we are accessing the ACE through https. So we need to installed the new https certificate for https management connection to ACE for removing this error. We do not want to use the self signed certificate for https access to ACEmanagement. We have done the below configuration but there no luck, still its showing the previous self signed certificate in browser.

Page preview displaying iViews incorrectly

I am just learning Portal and have run into an issue that I'm sure folks out here can help me with.
I created two iViews from the SAP iView transaction template. Both transactions are custom transactions, pointing to custom Z-programs reports. I have added these iViews to a page, assigned the standard side-by-side layout, and changed the iView Height properties to be Automatic.
The problem is, when I preview the page, the Tray Headers correctly display the title assigned to the transaction, but the selection screen displayed in each iView tray is the same. Whatever iView displays first, the second iView seems to use this same data for its display.
It seems to be an issue related to caching, but as I am new to Portal I am not sure where to look to solve this problem.

I've to display 2 fields- (wbs element description) and (network description) along with the standard ALV display, for the Account Assignment type 'Q' and 'N' of all purchase requisitions being displayed.
I was suggested to modify the standard program RM06BF00.
Can you please let me know where and how should I modify the program RM06BF00. Is there any userexit or badi to add my fields??

How to I stop the Preview Pane in Windows 7 retaining control when I open a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat (Reader is NOT installed)

I have the preview pane active when selecting PDF Documents. When I open a PDF document I am unable to save any changes. the error message I receive:
"The documents could not be saved. The file ma be read-only,or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name of in a different folder"
The document is not read only and no other user has it open. If I turn the preview pane OFF there is no problem saving changes. I have also un-installed Adobe Reader.
Other programs (such as Excel, Word) do not experience the same problems as the PDF documents.
Does anyone have a solution?

It sounds like you just need to associate the PDF filename extension with Acrobat, rather than Preview. Please see this document from the Microsoft Help for instructions on choosing the default program for opening a particular file type (in your case, PDF): Change which programs Windows uses by default - Windows Help

Why would the browser preview display look different than what I am seeing in the design view? Pls help!

When working with accordion panels, when I first insert the widget it looks fine, then I begin customizing the content and then the Preview display does not look the same as the Design display. For instance, in the design display the panel aligns with the adjacent image, but in Preview, it appears offset by one or two pixels.

Need help on installing VirtualBox to install the preview

While looking for instructions and guides on how to install Windows 10 Technical Preview on VirtualBox, I told myself that installing VirtualBox may cause a BSoD when attempting to run it on my computer. It is an old Compaq Presario PC SR5350F with Windows
Vista Home Premium.
I also noticed that it can take up too much hard disk space on my computer. I think I was signed up for the Windows Insider Program (WIP) when the technical preview was released, and can't download the ISO file unless I free up hard disk space. I did not
create a partition on my computer to dual-boot it to Windows 10 Technical Preview. Is there anyway I can do before installing VirtualBox to testdrive the preview? Thanks.

Hi pina618, sorry for having no idea about what you know already.
Windows 10 requires 16 GB of free space.
You can "delete" unused folders/files, instead "uninstall", and get more free space. But I'm afraid that it may be hard to get 16 GB of free space by deleting or uninstalling them.
Does your PC has only "C" drive? i.e. are there any other partitions(eg. "D" drive)? If no other drive has free space, what you will do is to add an external/internal HDD.
And remember that Win10 requires 1 GB memory(32-bit) or 2 GB(64-bit).
For running Win10 in VirtualBox, it requires 1 or 2 GB memory for Win10(Guest OS) and plus 1 or 2 GB for Win Vista(Host OS).

I am implementing Forgot Password functioanlity or link in my Portal ( SAP EP7.0).I am getting "Logon Problem ? Get Support " link in my Portal welcome page.When I am clicking this link ,I am getting pop up asking me to enter user id and mail id.Everything is working fine.
But my real concern is I want to customise the message display in case wrong user id or mail id or wrong question answer.
The current message displaying as "User information incorrect. Cannot send e-mail with new password" and I want to display it as
"User information incorrect. Cannot send e-mail with new password ,Please contact your Administrator"
If I will tell in one sentence ,I want to customise the message display by adding extra text
For example: "User information incorrect. Cannot send e-mail with new password"

Hi,
Until you have only played around with the layout of the logon page and not the actual code then you will be able to use this property. There are bits of code in the logon par which retreives these values.
For eg you can see the below if statement in the logon page to determine if logon help has to be displayed. This is part of standard logo page so if you have not removed this in your custom one everything should work just fine.

How to format a PDF for iPhone

Hopefully someone can help, Adobe support withdrew my question saying 'they don't support that platform', ummm, maybe PDF should be renamed to NPDF (non-portable format)!!
Joking aside, what is the best way to format a PDF for the iPhone. Problem is, trying to read any PDF on the iPhone you have to keep scolling RIGHT then scroll LEFT for EACH line of text in the PDF - this is obviously unacceptable to users.
Is it possible to save the reflow setting in the actual PDF or is there anyother way, maybe set the margins in the PDF for iPhone screen size. I only need the PDF to be read on the iPhone if that makes a solution any easier.

When looping is involved it's almost always easier to use applescript to call a workflow than to try to loop in automator. Make a workflow that looks like this:

Preview Display doesn't show - why?

It must be something simple - but I can't get it - why the Preview Display is black?
Scopes show color data all right but no Preview (
Still Store is the same - scopes juxtapose, Preview stays black.
Why is this so?

Solved it.
I was using the hardware accelerated graphics card, the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, on my MacBook Pro. When I switched to the integrated "better battery life" card in System Preferences and logged out/in again the display came back.
Pretty dumb that Color doesn't run on the hardware card, but there you have it.

Older equivalent of "AICS2-VBScriptGuide.pdf" for Illustrator 10?

(I asked this question a couple of days ago in the Illustrator Scripting forum but didn't connect with anyone there who could help. It's a question that fits both fora.)
It has fallen on me to update a departed developer's C++ code for Windows that uses the Visual Basic type library within the Illustrator 10 "ScriptingSupport.aip" plugin. I can see how to make calls from C++ to get Illustrator 10 to draw some graphs from dynamic data.
But the scripting syntax used by this existing C++ code, which works well in Illustrator 10, doesn't seem to work at all in Illustrator CS2. Certain functions present in the Illustrator 10 "ScriptingSupport.aip" type library seem to be entirely missing in the CS2 version of the same plug-in.
I can't find any documentation of the older "ScriptingSupport.aip" syntax to compare what the existing code is trying to do against the techniques I might use with CS2's syntax (for which I had no trouble finding documentattion, in the file "AICS2-VBScriptGuide.pdf").
Alas, the Illustrator Developer Center link for "Download archived Illustrator SDKs" takes me nowhere different than the page on which I selected it, and I've not found any relevant older information by searching the archives.
Can anyone help me find the older documentation?

Following up for the record, the older equivalent of "AICS2-VBScriptGuide.pdf" for Illustrator 10 can be found on the Illustrator 10 product CD in "Illustrator Extras/Scripting/Documentation/Illustrator Scripting Guide.pdf" . In the same folder is a document with some VIsual Basic fixes, "Scripting Guide Errata.pdf". Thanks to those who helped me find this!
