The printer does not stop printing

I have set up my printer (HP Color LaserJet CP1215) to my airport extreme; I have succeed to print to my printer. But the printer keep printing the same pages, and it prints continuously. Anybody know why this can be happened?

I assume that you have this printer connected to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) ... correct? If so, does the AirPort Utility recognize it as the exact printer model?
Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. In addition, the AirPort's USB port does not support the "advanced" printer functions, like scanning, copying or faxing, of multi-function printers.
To see if your printer is compatible, take a look at this iFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility link.
If your printer isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.

Finally, check out this IBM support article to see if the printer you are interested in is listed as having a Postscript or PCL3 interface. If it does, then it will most likely work with the AirPort's USB port. Printers that use the "HP LIDIL" interface must be connected to a computer directly and will not work.

To show the battery percentage used go to settings
from there click general scroll to usage and select
scroll to bottom of page for battery usage select on.
This will show the icon battery and the percent numbers on the top right.
When phone is connected to an outlet sometimes it does not always show complete charge. I do not understand why but it is what it is.

When I open a new window, the spinner does not stop, or the window open

I have a MBP 3 yrs. old, running Snow Lep. When I open a new window, the spinner in the address bar spins and window does not open unless I click on the X and stop the spinner. Some times this doesn't work either. It just hangs up trying to open the next window.

Better way: use a master page. In the load_page event, check the session. Thus, you wouldn't need to write the method to check in every page, just in the master page.

Masterpage is a better idea.
But The login page shouldn't use MasterPage OR need to have logic to check before redirecting to login page if you are already in Login page.
Otherwise you will get into Recursive Redirection error.

If you go through the loop once with something other than 0, 1, 2, then repeat will be set to true, and it will never have the possibility to be set to false again.
Each case should also set repeat to false.
You should NOT initialize repeat to false at declaration. That way, if you miss one of the repeat = false; settings in the cases, the compiler will give you an error. As you have it now, the same logic error is still present, but the compiler can't detect it.

Popups are not being blocked and the malware does not stop them. I have gone through the process of troubleshooting.

I have tried everything from the troubleshooting guide including downloading software for malware. It did not work. The popups come labeled as Firefox and others.

The WiFi does not stop working...

Since I download the iOS 5.0.1 y notice that the WiFi connection don´t stop working when I put my 3Gs to sleep.
After several minutes the phone gets hot and it´s beacuse of the wifi connection!

I've been closed all the apps but the wifi still runs.
Now I'm going to set on the airplane mode to check if the temperature is because of the wifi or cellular network

The completed program does not stop by itself.

I am writing a simple vi to run a loop and also I am writing a few commands outside the loop. I am using a flat sequency structure inside a while loop. I am also writing a few commands oustide the while loop in another sequence structure box adjacent to it.
The progrm executes and does exactly what I want, but the program does not stop running and the run button remains pressed. So because of this, when I call this VI in a bigger program the bigger program hangs when it calls the sub VI as the sub VI is not finishing. I tried using the STOP button, but when I do this, even the bigger program stops executing at this step.
Is there any way I can stop this subVI alone.

Your vi has race conditions written all over it. You local variables are all over the place. There is no guarantee which will happen first, the variable gets written to, or the variable gets read. You should learn the concept of data dependency execution flow. Use wires instead of local variables. Use Error In and Error Out to create the execution order. Look at the attached vi, which is a modification of your vi. Also, if the loop exit conditions are never met (Vout is never less than 0.01 or Vin is never less than 2) then your loop will never exit. You might want to check if these conditions will actually happen, or put a stop button to manually stop the loop and wire it into an OR function with the other conditions.

[AVSpeechSynthesizer StopSpeakingAtBoundary] does not stop the speech

I am using the new AVSpeechSynthesizer class in iOS7 SDK. I am creating a bunch of AVSpeechUtterance. And then call the speakUtterance method. speakUtterance will queue all the utterances for speech.
I got a "Cancel Speech" button, which calls stopSpeakingAtBoundary method of AVSpeechUtterance. When the first utterance is speaking, this method stops the utterance and clears all the other utterances in the queue. But, when the "Cancel Speech" button is clicked after the first utterance, then the speech does not stop till all utterances are spoken.
Has anyone had this issue of stopping a bunch of Utterances midway?

I resolved this issue by generating a new object of class AVSpeechSynthesizer every time before calling speakUtterance: method.

Subvi does not stop from the mainVi immediately when the stop button pressed in the mainVi

I have a mainVi which has a subVi inside. I want to have a kind of emeregency stop button in my mainVi.
when I pressed the button, the program does not stop instantly. it does one loop and then stops.
please help me to solve this problem.

This is basic dataflow. Any code is available to run as soon as data is present on all its inputs. No data is present at its outputs until all the code inside has completed.
What this means in your case is that the stop button will likely be read almost instantly when the while loop starts an iteration. It will not be read again until the start of the next iteration. This is why it will usually take an extra iteration to stop. You can either force it to read the stop button after the other code inside the loop completes or use a Producer/Consumer (events) architecture where the stop button will be read in a parallel loop containing an event structure.
It also means that the Move_MINI subVI has no means of responding to any external events (such as the stop button being pressed) after it has started running. All the other subVIs are missing so it is hard to tell what is going on. From the control labels and VI names I suspect that this may be some kind of motion control system. If so it probably takes 100s of milliseconds to seconds or longer to complete a move. To allow an external event to modify the behavior of such a VI, you need a means of communication between the event (stop button) and the VI. A notifier may be an appropriate choice. The VI also needs to be configured in such a manner that it never goes more than about 100 ms without an opportunity to stop. Without knowing more about the subVIs, I cannot say how this might work.

Synchronization does not stops

Hi all
After installing MI, MAM etc, during the Synchronization for the data (5000 measurement points), the data comes but the Synchronization does not stops or takes a very long time to stop. Confirmed about the data by tracking the memory and also by restartign the device once the memory is stable, the data exists.
Similarly while creating measurement documents for 150 docuemtns syn works fine, but for 300 documents the data gets successfully posted but the sync does not stops unitl we manually restart the device.
We use Symbol 9090 and program memory available is 2 to 3 MB.
Is it a memory issue?? Did any one had come accross this problem??

Surprised that these recomendations doesnt work. Anyway i have one more recomendation which is related to TIME AGENT. If you are using any of the Agent feature, which is made available recently in MI then this could also result in an endless sync. The Time agent which is one of the several Agents, can never have a value TRUE for the History parameter. As for the possible solution, please change the value of AGENT_HISTORY in the TIME_AGENT parameter set to FALSE and then assign this parameter set to a device configuration which inturn in assigned to a device. Please test this new scenario with a fresh client installation and not with an already synced client. This should solve this endless problem.
Or other way of testing this is In the client there is a file named <b><i>agents.properties</i></b> in the MI settings folder. Here there would an entry called TRACE_AGENT#AGENT_HISTORY=TRUE. Please set his value to FALSE. Let me know if this works.

Automator Script Does Not Stop

Mountain Lion on MacBook Air
This Automator App Script (enablelocal.app)

runs and changes the local backup setting, closes terminal, but the workflow does not stop (the gear keeps rotating in the menu bar until I manually stop it).
What else do I need to have the workflow stop?

sudo never belongs in a do shell script command.
Consider what happens when you run sudo at the command line - the chances are it prompts you for the admin password. do shell script specifically prevents user interaction, so sudo asks for a password, but there's no way for you to see this, or enter a password to continue. That's what's happening here - your sudo is waiting for a password it can never get.
'... with administrator privileges' is the right way to go. Because this isn't part of the command you're passing to 'do shell script, AppleScript can elevate the privileges (including prompting for username and password) befor invoking the shell command. Problem solved.

HELP-sound file read vi does not stop at end of WAV file

Hi,
I am a newbie and I am working on a project that opens a .wav file and plays it (with volume control). I found all the sound related examples to be extremely helpful and I can just modify the Sound file to Sound output.vi example for the purpose of my project.
I am running into a problem where the vi does not stop at the end of the wav file, and it seems to loop for a while. the wav file i've been using was over a min long (and it was converted from a data file to a wav file, if that matters). I've attached my modified vi here, and appreciate any help.

I think the functionality you are looking for is that you want to play your wav file in it's entirety every iteration of the while loop. If this is the case then you just need to expand the While Loop to encompass the Sound Output Configure and the Sound Output Wait VIs and change the configure VI to Finite Samples instead of Continuous Samples. I have attached a picture showing what this looks like. If you are just wanting to play your file once and be done with it, then you can change the configure VI to Finite Samples and just get rid of the While Loop completely and then the VI will just run once. Hope this helps!

Youtube does not stop playing?

Hi,
I'm able to embed the youtube videos through iAd Producer in order to include as a widget that's in iBooks Author. They play on the iPad in iBooks fine. However, when I close the full screen widget without tapping the pause button, the video does not stop playing. The screen will go back to the text of the book but the sound of the video keeps playing until it ends. I have to swipe two pages away for it to end.
Is there a way for it to automatically end when closing the widget?

HP Officejet Pro 8500A: Initial Checking Printer Procedure does not stop

I have a big problem.
My printer does not stop to run the "Checking Printer" procedure.
It tells me: "Open the print-carriage access door, clear the jam, and then touch OK to continue.
Unfortunately there is no paper inside.
Pressing OK, the printer continues the procedure and it NEVER stops.
Switching OFF and ON the power does not help.
But if you try to print the Auto Test Report it works. The printer prints the report without any problem!!!
