The printer is making everything huge. i have tried everything i know to make the print look normal
I have an HP LaserJet P1102w with Windows 7. All of a sudden it is printing everything huge and something that would normally print on one page.....prints on three. I have checked the settings and nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

Try to delete the print queue under Print & Fax / Print & Scan then manually add a print queue.

I have an iPad mini and an iPad 2. I can print email to my HP 6510 from the mini, but NOT from the iPad 2. Both are on the same wi-fi network. I have tried everything I can do including unplugging everything, restarting, etc. Can anyone help?

I have an original iPad running 5.1.1. It has started throwing me out of safari to the point it is now unusable. Have tried everything including full restore but problem persists?
Try a few things:
First, try double tapping the home button. You should see a row of apps at the bottom; these are your recenty opened apps. Hold your finger down on any of the icons until they start to shake, and a red minus() appears. Tap the red minus for each app. This will close the app, not delete it. If you have too many apps open, this can cause crashes.

Im having trouble with error 13019 I have read the previous discussions about this matter and have tried to do them except for the fact that under the music tab when clicking on my ipod every thing is frozen. It s not my comp. and i dont wish to restore. Please help!
If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

My iphone 4 just stopped receiving or making calls. I have tried everything! Help!!!
Okay, one day a little less than a MONTH ago, my iphone 4 just stopped receiving calls(90% of the time) and making calls(50% of the time.). I panicked because my job depends on my phone to work. So, i go to apple, ATT, back to apple, back to ATT, etc. There is no end to this. And, literally, the people at ATT and Apple, keep telling me that they are probably not going to figure out a solution, and that I should just cancel my account. Now, I really don't want to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!New iphone from apple because they thought it was a ATT problem but gave me new iphone 4 anyway, new sim about 1 minute after the new phone, new phone number. The engineers at ATT said if i relocated and told them that i was moving, it would give me a new number and reset all the routing stuff. I didn't want to do this because of losing my number with business, but had to resort to it anyway. Now I have a number from a different state, and I still have the problem!!!!!!!!! I have exhausted all my options with apple and att, and both tell me the only thing i can do is buy a prepaid phone from a different service! I need my iphone for work, and this has been going on for over a month now. I was told there was a routing issue, but the engineers opened a ticket on it, and NO solution. Then they opened a second case ticket, and still no good. They are claiming I should cancel and buy a new phone. My phone just stopped recieving calls one day. No notification of missed calls, EVER since this started happening. Voicemails go thru( only some of them) about an hour or two later, and texts are taking a bit longer than usual. I have really tried everything the engineers can think of, even getting a brand new phone! Please someone help me!!!!!!!! I am desperate!!!!!!!!!!!! This happens anywhere i go, not just in my area.
Might sound silly but is the mute switch on the left side of the phone in the correct position?

The headline pretty much sums up my problem. Basically, I picked a few different animated themes to try out in the Add-Ons section to personalize my browser window. They look great initially, and in the window that is open when I actually enable the theme. However, if I close that window and open a new one, the theme is stationary and no longer animates.

Although to install the add-on "Personas Shuffler" can solve the problem to me, I don't think it was the BEST solution. This evening, I read why the add-on "Personas Shuffler" was made, and found that the BEST solution is:
1. Open a new tab, and type "about:config" at the URL bar, then search for "lightweightthemes" with the filter.
2. Change the values of "lightweightThemes.persisted.footerURL" and "lightweightThemes.persisted.headerURL" from true to false( by double click on them).
3. After doing so, restart Firefox and you will see it works! You don't have to install any add-on. -
After updating Firefox . I notice Yahoo has taken over as the search engine on safari . I have gone into safari and changed the default browser and home page to google but yahoo is still there . Can someone Please tell me how to get rid of Yahoo . peter

1. GO TO THE TOOL BAR WHERE IT SAYS SAFARI AND CLICK TO BRING DOWN THE MENU OF OPTIONS, CLICK ON PREFERENCES
2.INSTEAD OF JUST CLICKING ON THE GENERAL TAB AND CHANGING THE SEARCH ENGINE LIKE EVERY OTHER STUPID SUPPORT TELLS YOU TO DO LOOK AT THE TAB THAT SAYS EXTENSIONS.
3. Chances are you downloaded something that was made by a third party to "enhance" your web experience but really they just screwed you over, YOU CAN CHOOSE TO SIMPLY UNINSTALL ANY EXTENSIONS PUT ON YOUR COMPUTER BY CLICKING INSTALL, BUT TO BE SURE THAT THIS IS THE ROOT OF YOUR PROBLEM IN THE SECOND COLUMN SIMPLY CLICK ON THE UNDERLINED NAME OF WHO THE EXTENSION IS MADE BY IF CLICKING THE LINK BRINGS UP A YAHOO PAGE THIS IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR ISSUES AND SIMPLY UNINSTALLING THIS WILL RID YOU OF THIS DUMB PROBLEM!!

My MacBook Pro 15in mid 2010 4gb 1067, 2.4gighertz i5, os 10.9.5 has locked up the calendar screen displays "The server responded with an error" and will not let me exit the msg or the screen I can use the rest of the computer. I have an iPod 4G, however I cannot update using iTunes. It says 'The iPod software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your connection is active.' I have just updated to the Firefox 4 Beta and from having no problems at all with the previous version I can now no longer scroll. I have reloaded my touch pad drivers and also been onto "about:config" and altered various things suggested by 'firefox help' and still no luck. The scroll button on the touch pad does still work as I can still scroll in Thunderbird and any of the other programs that I use, just not with Firefox any longer. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

I have set www.google.com as my home address, this always opens the German website, but at least there is a link to Google.com. If I open any other page before changing, it is always the German version, and there is no way to change it.

RegardsIt is not the solution for me. I have a second pc witrh FireFox 3.6plus running on Windows XP service pack 3 This works fine, I get Google in English as normal.
The problem is with my Windows 7 pc, as the Google setup is the same, it must be something local.
