The problem of making an extension

Hi,
I want to make an extension which is similar as tray. So I copy the extension of tray and copy the handler class:CL_HTMLB_TRAY. I didn't change anything in class.Then I activate the extension, but system shows error:Access to protected attribute "MC_CONTENT->FORCEENCODE" is not allowed and also other followed errors.
So who know how to solve it? Many thanks!

   The problem is still there.
   Maybe I didn't describe the error precisely. I'm sorry about that.
   The error message are all about the handler class of BSP element.The problem occured when I activate the handler class,I copy standard tray's handler class CL_HTMLB_TRAY, and then when I activate it, system shows error. I don't know why because I didn't modify anything in the copied class.

Whats the Problem on making reservations?

I've been attempting for the last week making a reservation online to my nearby applestore because my iMac needs to get the superdrive checked because with certain CD's, it makes rubbing noises and my iMac DVD got scratched from it. But I can't make the reservation
For the last week I've tried top make a reservation and it says they cant accept anymore for the day and to try back tomorrow. It's been over a week I'v been getting this message and I want to get my iMac repaired already.
I Know one time I called in over a year ago for My iPod shuffle needing replacement and they said I only could do reservations online but I never had any problems since then until now.

You will generally, at least based on my experiences making reservations, have the best luck if you try to make your reservation in the morning right around the time the store opens. When I had to take mine to Lenox Square in Atlanta, an extremely busy store, this method worked for me on four occasions. If I waited until noon, I could not get a reservation. One time I just showed up and waited about 3 hours before they saw me.
If you call Apple they will help, but you will still have to make a reservation or they will do it for you. At least that is what they did for me. That was on the second repair as I didn't call them until the first repair failed to solve the issue.
I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy by the genius's and by the people on the phone at Apple. My repair experiences were all very positive.

Videos are not shown in any webpage, extensions ok, flash ok, what is the problem?

Safari 6.0.5; most of the videos are not shown in any webpage, only Youtube and a very few amount of sites are working. I've been having the same problem for months. Any Solutions?

If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.

I did not download any upgrades or anything else, and I have Norton 360 version 3. I can open Internet Explorer, but that's not my default browser, so I have no problem with the Internet connection.
What could be the problem, how can I restore my browser without losing my bookmarks, settings, etc?

If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? For instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see [[Safe Mode]]. Extensions can sometimes be the cause of problems. 1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.

This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. At the same time a blank message with an attachment named "Attachment_information.txt" will remain in the user's Drafts folder. The "Attachment_information.txt" will contain information about the virus detected in the message.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

Well, today I was trying to buy an "extension" for an app. I did everything as per usual, but for some reason, there appears to be a message that I can't buy it with visa, when I've already bought other apps and things online with the same card, without a problem. Which should cross the option that the problem resides in the card (I also contacted with the bank and everything was as per usual with the card).
Also, a friend of mine has this same app and for this person everything went smoothly without a problem.

Can be a problem that get multiplied and visible when iDVD encode for DVD.
A. See if problem can be isolated to a single frame in the movie and re-import this clip and see if it's better
B. When free space on Start-Up hard disk goes low - strange things like this might occure. I never go under 25Gb free space on this Start-Up Mac OS hard disk !
C. Does this problem arises what ever encoding quality You use ?

You may need a version without macros on it. Unfortunately, pretty much all apps are skinned down versions of their original program, often with less functionality. For example in a word document I can italicize,bold and underline, but I only have a handful of fonts to play with and I don't think I can insert tables or images.
It is very possible that the app simply cannot run macros, which means that document may never work on an iPad.
