i used to change the background of Launchpad by pressing command+b in 10.7.2, why doesn't it work in 10.7.3!!!

That is correct, Command+Option+Control+b will take you through the 4 background options as in 10.7.2

i am facing the problem with the funciton module, I have executed my custom program in background (SM37) but the program job was compled with in few minutes.
i have debugged the background job in jdbg and find out the problem in Function module BP_JOB_CHECKSTATE .
After execution of the function module BP_JOB_CHECKSTATE , The function module raises the Exception 5 " *no authorization for checking the job "*
Could you please tell me why the function module raise the exception 5( no authorization for checking the job).
Could you please help it's a very important for me becuase we are getting the dump in production system .

This exception occurs because of the authorization issue.
system will check the authorization when the job creator name and sy-uname is different. in this case system user must have the authorization to object S_BTCH_ADM ID : BTCADMIN and field = Y. then only system allow the check the background job
check the username and the job creator name is same or not if not then find the authorization needs to be provided to object S_BTCH_ADM ID : BTCADMIN and field = Y to the user name. If user name is same as job creator name then i guess it willl allow you to check the job with this authorization object

Slow WiFi on iOS 8? An app running in the background might be the problem

I've discovered a problem with Angry Birds Friends on my iPhone 6. When I am connected to my wifi, the app does not load. The log-in status bar gets about 3/4 of the way across but doesn't complete. If I hit the home button to "close" the app and try to do anything else on my iPhone that connects to the internet, they don't connect or the speed is REALLY slow. In fact, when I run a speedtest, my download speeds which are normally at about 23 MBPS drop down to a mere .5 MBPS. If I open the multitask bar and quit the app from there, my download speeds go back to normal. I have also verified the same behavior on my iPad Air. So it seems Angry Birds Friends is having some sort of wifi connectivity issue that impacts the wifi even when I'm not in it. It is possible that other apps might cause similar problems by running some sort of activity in the background that impacts wifi connectivity. I can consistently recreate this behavior with this app and contacted Apple support today to report it. In fact they put me in touch with a senior person and I provided them with the details. I'm waiting to hear back from him after he contacts their engineering team.

I have exactly the same problem with Angry Birds Friends, I have a two year old iPhone 5 running the latest iOS, the app loads perfectly when on the mobile network but freezes 3/4 of the way through loading on wifi, I have used other people's wifi and experience the same issue. I haven't reported it like you, but it is very weird.

When I excute the same program in the foreground, Attachment in the mail is showing all the pages of the report output.
But when I excute the same program in the background only last page is shown in the mail attachemnt.
I think the problem is with the function module SAVE_LIST function module.
I replaced the SAVE_LIST function module with LIST_TO_MEMORY and LIST_FROM_MEMORY function modules.
It is also giving the same result.
In the foreground excution email attachemnt showing all the pages and in the background excution only last page is shown in the attachemnt.
I want all the pages dispalyed in the background mode excution in the email attachment.
How to slove this issue.

Problems with the background image in IE

Hi I've been optimizing some pages for the different browsers in Dreamweaver CS4. They all work fine in Safari, Firefox and Opera, Internet Explorer is, however not showing the background image I have selected. I can't for the life of me see what's going wrong! Any help wopuld be appreciated. here is the code on my index page which I built from a template. I don't know if it's the editable areas that are going wrong!

The fact you are using a Mac is why both myself and JCellini assumed you where using a pre IE7 version.
But the code you are using to test in IE will cause a problem with any 'virtual machine' such as crossover, because it cannot reference anything outside its own assigned section of the drive, and referencing the png in the way you are would be for it an invalid reference, it also would not work in any browser when you uploaded the site.
Change - background-image:url(file:///Macintosh HD/Users/myname/Documents/websites/test/Test/images/test_back.png);
To - background-image:url(images/test_back.png);
But if the region is not editable I would suggest you temporarily make it so, externalize your css to a css file, insert a link to the external css file in your head content, then lock the region once again. This way you will always be able to edit your css without worrying about 'locked regions'.

Has anyone else had this problem, or found a solution?
If you refresh the page and start over, the problem doesn't happen. But on the first page load it always seems to happen.
Here is a link to the module I am working with. If you let the video play for a couple seconds on the first slide, and then click a navigation link to another slide, you will still hear the audio from the first slide playing.

Problem in placing the background in ALV Grid display

I have created one image of the business flow, and it have to be displayed in the background of ALV grid display.
For this I have gone to T.Code <b>OAER</b> , Given class name as <b>PICTURES</b> , Class type as <b>OT</b> , Object Key <b>BACKGROUND</b>, clicked on the triangle of Standard Doc , then double click on screen, and finally uploaded the background into SAP.
In the function module <b>REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY</b> I passed this background to the parameter I_BACKGROUND_ID.
It is working fine, and I was able to see the back ground in my program.
(developed in IDES)
But the same is not working in my development client, will some one suggest be the reason for the problem. Please kindly help me out from this problem.

Change the background effect in Launchpad on Yosemite?

As posted below. You could do this in Mavericks with Control+Option+Command+B and cycle through 4 different effects. This key combination has no effect in Yosemite's Launchpad. Has it been changed, or removed?

Hi, yes, I clicked the box that I wanted to change the background in. I made sure that the correct box was selected and not the text box on top of it. Then I clicked Fill on the top bar and selected the color that I wanted to change it to. I opened a new user on my computer yesterday with administrative privledges. I then opened up an itunes account from this new user. It seemed to go pretty well. I haven't downloaded any new songs yet or moved them to my account. I don't know how to move songs yet. I'm reading iPod and iTunes for Dummeies. Very appropriate for me. Is this 6.0.1.240? In that case check the slide quality, and if it is the default Low, change to Optimized (new default since 6.1.319).
Moreover uncheck all compression settings in Preferences, Project, SWF size and Quality. And check 'Force re-publish all slides' when publishing.

Bluetooth Problems when running other programes in the background

I have been experiening problems with the bluthooth conenctivity on my 2012 Macbook Air.
It is the 2.0GHZ i7 8GB RAm with 256Gb flash storage model released June 2012.
I use it in clamsehll mode hoked up to an external HD monitor using the Mini display port to HDMI adaptor and then link it to an external LG soundbar using bluetooht for audio.
No other device has any issue linking ot the LG soundbar but when i am using my Macbook air and downloading something, even a tiny file that might only be goign at a speed of a few kb/s ( I have very slow internet speed ) it casues the bluetooth to cut out every 5-10 seconds and then some times it will work for an hour uninterupted.
The only other bluthooth device I have connected is my Magic Trackpad and I have tried it without this with the same results occuring.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so has nayone found a soltuion so that i can run a basic video file and hear the sound clearly and uninteruopted while using my Macbook to to run some other vey basic tasks in the background?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe the process to do this is to:
1) Go to transaction SM36 to create a batch job.
2) Enter a job name
3) Select "Step", specify the ABAP program name (for ME2M, this is RM06EM00), then type in the variant you wish to use
4) Save, then go to Start Condition and specify when you want this batch job to run, along with the frequency
Edit - nevermind, I misunderstood the issue. I am unsure of how to have the layout automatically populated.
