"The Product ID entered is invalid. Please choose a different Product ID."

I have a folio that I am trying to update in Folio Producer and I am getting this error message: "The Product ID entered is invalid. Please choose a different Product ID." I have tried changing the name, but I keep on getting the same error. Has anybody else  received this error?

You've come across a bug that was introduced recently. The Product ID field now accepts only lowercase letters. I was under the impression that this bug was fixed last night. I'll look into it and get back to you.

    If the code you are entering is not a set of 24 numbers (only numbers), 6 sets of 4 digits,  then it is not the serial number.

    I am unable to reinstall Photoshop CS6 (I do have the serial number) on my Macbook Pro 10.9.5 (Mavericks os). and am getting the message "Installation on case-sensitive volumes is not supported.  Please choose a different volume for installation."  I am further told that "Adobe apps cannot be installed on case-sensitive drives, you need to Install the product onto an HFS+ or HFSJ non-case-sensitive drive."
    What I don't understand is this:  I originally bought and installed Photoshop CS6 back in March 2013, and it worked fine.  Yesterday my hard drive had to be replaced and my computer person salvaged as much of what was on it as he could, but now I have to reinstall Photoshop.  1) Why did it work before and it's not working now?  2) Is there anything I can do that does not involve reformatting the hard drive?

    It means what it says. The "computer person" formatted it wrongly/ unsuitably. it needs to be formatted again.

    Could you please let me know what version of OS are working on.
    You might receive this error when you attempt to install on a drive with the HFS+ Case Sensitive file system, which is not supported for installation of Adobe Creative Suite 6.
    So, please try installing on a drive that has been formatted with a supported file system.
    You might refer the KB doc link mentioned below for the same:

    Which particular .msi file is the message going on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files might be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

  • Purchased LR6 upgrade, when entering SN for LR4, message " The serial number you entered is invalid. please try again. if the problem persists, contact Customer support. ".  SN entered for existing product has been checked and is correct.

    I retrieved the LR4 serial number from my Adobe account.  The installer for an upgrade to LR6 will not accept the LR4 serial number.

    Common miss-type issues  found are mentioned below.
    Zero(0)  -  letter "O" as in Oscar.
    Five (5) - Letter "S" as in Sam.
    Two (2)  - Letter "Z" as in Zolo.

    You confuse the passphrase with the keys. Your passphrase may be seven characters long but your keys are not. The passphrase is used to generate the keys which you can see in the fields key 1-4. Those keys are the keys which you have to enter into your computer. The passphrase won't work often because it is not standardized how to derive the keys from the passphrase. Thus enter key 1 into the computer and make sure you have selected key 1 as transfer key if your router has the option.
    The key in the router is in hexadecimals. The computer should easily recognize the format. The key is 5 or 13 bytes long. In hexadecimals each byte has two digits thus your key is either 10 or 26 hexadecimals long. With 128bit keys it is the latter.
    I would recommend to use WPA or WPA2 with pre-shared key instead. WEP can be cracked within minutes. WPA is considered secured. Plus there is only the passphrase. For WPA/WPA2 the way how to derive the actual key from the passphrase is standardized. Thus there is nothing to confuse...

    So the seller from Ebay said it is New. The program actually installed and it even did all the updates. But in My Products and in the Redeem License link where you enter the code it says it is invalid.
    Please save your advice about buying on Ebay. Yes it does happen sometimes, but I have had more positive than negative experiences.
    My question is, can there be a glitch or some reason for PS to install AND do updates with latest patches, yet the license is invalid?
    Could that mean that the code is already active? If so, can Adobe deactivate that license if I call to have them take a look?
