The PUK code doesn't unlock my phone, why?

For some reason my Huawei 330 decided to lock itself today so I typed in the PUK code and I was asked to type in another pin number to unlick the sim which I've done 6 times now but it still doesn't want to unlock. Any ideas? (It's a **bleep** phone by the way )

Have you tried to power off, then take the battery and SIM out & wait a few seconds, then re-insert battery/sim and power on? Sometimes a complete turn-off might assist.

I had to do a factory reset this morning on my DROID RAZR. As I was going through this afternoon setting everything up again, I saw that I could set a password for my SIM card. I thought it was asking me to create a password, not enter a default one. So needless to say, I locked myself out of my phone, and I need the PUK code. I cannot call, this is my only phone, and I cannot go to a local store today or tomorrow. I also cannot go the next two days without my phone. I've tried doing a chat, but because it's only sales that communicate through the chat, they were less than helpful and told me I can only fix this by going to a store, which I can't do.
So, can I chat with anyone to get my PUK code today via internet?

Why is this working for everyone, but me? When I follow these instructions (and many others that I've found in this community -- which has been helpful with other matters thus far) There is no PUK or SIM information. I have an (ESN) and my phone number. that's it. Help! I'm in a rabbit hole!

When I lock my screen it says phone is locked and whenever I click anything it reads it out but does not let me slide to unlock the screen often but when it does it just reads of my pass code and letters but doesn't unlock my phone .

Old phone and need the PUK code

I have found an old phone in the bottom of a draw, that I though was lost, it has a sim card in it,I think it must be an old pay as you go phone but not sure, it is asking for a PUK code and I don't have any details of the provider or even the phone number. how can i get the code ?

It's the SIM that's locked, not the phone. PUK means "PIN Unlock Key", and the PIN protects the SIM, not the phone.
If the phone is that old then the line is dead by now and the SIM useless. Chuck it away and use a new one.

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

Note. Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

From what I can gather, it sounds like your device is disabled and needs to be restored to factory settings. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning recovery mode:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use recovery mode
You might need to use recovery mode to restore your device in these cases:
iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's in recovery mode.
You see the Apple logo onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Learn what to do if you see the progress bar onscreen for several minutes.
To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.
Get more help
Learn what to do if you don't see your device in iTunes for OS X, or in iTunes for Windows.
If you put your device into recovery mode by mistake, restart it. Or you can wait 15 minutes and your device will exit recovery mode by itself.

How to get the puk codes iphone 4

I have 2 iphones which are locked to an UK network. I want these phones unlocked, both are not being used anymore by me. My carrier says only Apple can unlock. I can not find any details on here to request unlock codes. Who can help?

According to Apple, all of the UK supported carriers offer unlocking (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937) - call the carrier back up and insist to speak with someone who actually knows what they are talking about. As Niel says, Apple does not unlock iPhones - you must go through the carrier it is currently locked to in order to authorize an unlock.

Do I have to use an external clock with a cDAQ-9188 and NI 9401 to read a linear encoder? I'm seeing error message that implies that but the example code doesn't show it.

We can set up a task that works on demand but when we go to continuous sampleing we see Error -200303, which claims an external sample clock source must be specified for this application. However, some of the NI linear encoder example code doesn't show that (uses the cDAQ 80 Mhz clock) and the documentation didn't mention that.

It's mentioned in the 918x user manual:
Unlike analog input, analog output, digital input, and digital output, the cDAQ chassis counters do not have the ability to divide down a timebase to produce an internal counter sample clock. For sample clocked operations, an external signal must be provided to supply a clock source. The source can be any of the following signals:
AI Sample Clock
AI Start Trigger
AI Reference Trigger
AO Sample Clock
DI Sample Clock
DI Start Trigger
DO Sample Clock
CTR n Internal Output
Freq Out
PFI
Change Detection Event
Analog Comparison Event
Assuming you have at least one available counter (there are 4 on the backplane), I would suggest to configure a continuous counter output task and use its internal output as the sample clock. Specify the internal counter using an "_" for example "cDAQ1/_ctr0". The terminal to use for the sample clock source would be for example "/cDAQ1/Ctr0InternalOutput".
Which example uses the 80 MHz timebase as a sample clock? It is far too fast for a sample clock on the 9188 according to the throughput benchmarks (80 MHz * 4 byte samples = 320 MB/s). There is also no direct route between the 80 MHz timebase and the sample clock terminal for the counters--making this route would use a second counter anyway.
