The Radio icon on my ipod (6th generation) has disappeared.

I don't know when it disappeared exactly or how it happened, but i wanted to listen to the radio last night and the icon wasn't there, just an empty space where it should be!! Anybody got any ideas?

Please describe in detail all you have attempted to do in order to resolve the issue.  Did you try resetting the iPod?

  • The ipod 6th generation has actualitation 1.3???

the ipod nano 6th generation has a 1.3 softweare ??????

The latest version of software for your iPod model is what iTunes shows when you select the iPod in iTunes.  On the iPod's Summary screen, it shows the current version and tells you if the software is up to date.  If so, that is the latest version available for your iPod model.
NOTE:  For iPods (that are not the iPod touch), its software is more like "firmware."  It is specific to each model.  The software versions are not directly related, between iPod models.

  • My iPod 6th Generation has a blank white screen and is apparently corrupted

I have tried restoring, and just don't know what else to do, pleeaase help!
Also, what happened to cause this? Is it the iPod? Or computer? (Macbook Pro)

Have you tried a reset or restore of the device in iTunes to see if that helps?  To reset the device, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, connect the iPod to your iTunes library and click the Restore button from under the iPod's Summary tab.
If the issue still persists, it's likely hardware related. A white screen could be the result of a loose LCD ribbon cable, or a damaged LCD screen.  Either way you'll need to have the iPod serviced in order to gain fully functionality of it again.

  • The volume icon on my ipod won't disappear and the volume sets itself at full.

The volume icon on my ipod touch won't disappear and the volume sets itself at full. I have tried a master reset etc, but it doesn't want to cooperate. Any ideas?

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod
If you still have a problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
I do not know what a "master reset" is.

  • I'm missing the iTunes radio icon on my iPod Touch

I had the iOS 7 beta and I was told that it was supposed to have a new radio icon in music. When iOS 7 was officially released, I didn't have the radio icon anywhere in my music. I even checked in more and it wasn't there.
To add to this, I just restored my iPod today and backed it up before hand. Before I added my back up, I had iTunes radio but as soon as my songs were being loaded back onto my iPod, it had once again disapeared and I wasn't able to use that feature.
Could someone explain to me why this happens and if so, how to fix it?

    "iTunes Radio is U.S. only."

Also would like to know how to find my passcode for Restrictions without restore the whole phone.
Not possible, and since the Restrictions Passcode is included with your iPhone's backup, you must restore the iPhone as a new iPhone or not from the backup.

Does anyone know if the Apple IPod 6th Generation will play Audio Books formated in MP3?  Thank you.

It'll play MP3 files. Import them into an iTunes library and transfer them to it.

  • My IPod 6th Generation Nano doesn't shuffle when I press the shuffle key. It keeps playing the same song?

My IPod 6th Generation Nano isn't shuffling. I press the shuffling choice on play music. The same song plays over and over again. What do I need to do?

It sounds like the Repeat setting has been turned on/enabled.  See your iPod's User Guide for information on how to disable it.

  • How do i get my Ipod 6th generation to show up on itunes, then restore without telling me its corrupt!

Hi, so the story is about a month ago i had brought in my Ipod 6th generation in to an apple store because the sleep button was stuck down (that ipod was from this past christmas). It was under warenty so I got another one free, but now this new one wont
    1. Show up on Itunes
    2. When it rarely does (it shows up randomly even when its not plugged in) It says its corrupted. I hit restore and that bar goes on forever!
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled itunes tons of times and that doesnt work, ive restarted my computer which doesnt help. ive reseted my ipod by the buttons and the settings hundreds of times! Disk mode ive gone into but i dont really know whats supposed to happen after i plug it in. I have added songs to my library after my old ipod broke and before i got the new one if that makes a difference. My old ipod (6 generation) worked fine on my labtop with no troubles at all so im ripping my hair out trying to figure out what i need to do.

Ipod NANO, forgot to mention that.
