The RAW setting in Bridge is not working. Reply to Curt y
Normally, when I open the image file it shows all the thumbnail images, with the file names and CR2.; then I click a thumbnail to highlight it. Then, the small round icon in the toolbar is dark, and when the cursor is over it , it says “Open in Camera Raw” .
When the icon is clicked, the file opens to a large working image for editing.
NOW, there are no thumbnail images, just the blank icons for each file, and the small circle on the toolbar is grey, and doesn’t do anything.
When I double-click a file, (without knowing which image it is because there is no thumbnail) it opens directly into photoshop.
I need the thumbnails, and I need to open them in Camera Raw.

The Photoshop has always worked well with the Minolta DimAge A2 using the RAW format. Now, it will not. Strange that Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate works fine and cost less tha $100... Any responses out there about that?
They may know more in the Camera Raw forum.

TS3694 My ipad is disabled and i've tried restart it to the factory setting and it's not working
I'm trying to restore my ipad to the factor setting because it is locked and says "ipad disabled" any suggestions?
Place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

i have an ipod touch it is either a second or third edition and i have just had to restore it to factory setting as it was not working and now the wifi on the device is no longer working. Is there anything i can do about this?
Is it this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My macbook pro has been shutting off on its own. The power cord "shuts off" (does not work) simultaneously. Does anyone know what is wrong? or what could be the problem?

Any idea why is Bridge latest version not working when trying to open it in Photoshop CC 2014 ? (French version) ? When trying, Creative Cloud app will open to ask if I want to download newest version, which I did numerous times now.

Here's how a similar problem was resolved between PS and BR.
The issue was confirmed by ChunXiaYang at Adobe staff and solution put in the forum discussion on June 19 (no. 13). Here's a copy:
I have confirmed that this is a known issue before release. And the workaround is to uninstall and reinstall PS 2014. Then Bridge can be launched by selecting 'Browse in Bridge' in PS2014.
Please try the installation, and let me know whether it works. Thanks!

I did this with a fresh install of the entire CC package. As soon as the CC packages updated, CC Bridge broke. Unistalled CC PS, reinstalled again, CC Bridge works, but CC PS updates itself again, and breaks CC Bridge.
You know... The whole move to CC has been a massive cluster... I've struggled with the CC packages for my entire subscription year, and now I'm 1.5 month away from needing to throw down another $720 for no reason what-so-ever, just so we can Beta test your really screwed up subscription services.

Thunderbolt-Bridge does not work after Yosemite upgrade
Hi,
recently I upgraded my MacBook pro (late 2013) to OS X 10.10.
Now the thunderbolt - gigabit ethernet bridge is not recognised anymore.
More specific the "Network Preference" pan does say that it is disconnected -> no network connection.
At the same time the "System Information" window does say it is connected.
I already tried several reboots, a reboot in save mode and deleting the networks environments to start from scratch.
But nothing helps.
Before the upgrade, the bridge worked fine (sometimes it was recognised slowly).
The bridge itself is a original apple bridge with firmware version 5.5 (PMFV 0.0.8).
Any ideas?

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

Since I installed the new OS X Lion, the iCal syncing through iTunes is not working properly.
When I sync my MacBook Pro with my iPhone and iPad, the events set in both devices (iPhone & iPad) are not transfered to the iCal on my labtop. Events created in both devices are transfered and copied betwen them when I sync them with the iTunes app (through the MacBook Pro) but they are not trasfered/copied into the labtop (iCal). The events created in the iCal (on my MacBook) are tranfered to the devices as two events on same hour. One, with the description created on the iCal, and the other as a New Event (no description). This is happening since I installed the new OS X Lion last week.
I file a report and talked with an Apple Support Representative, but they could not help me. They have not receive any other reports on this matter. Do someone has confronted this issue. I need to find out how to solve this problem.

Thank you very much for your help. It just worked fine. I have 4 macs in my company for 25 years (one is updated each year), and it is the first time I could not solve a problem for weeks. It gave me the opportunity to join this great community.

I have checked the box "display date and time on the Menu Bar" and it does not work. Using OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Anybody have a fix?
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

Problem with CS5 extended saving jpegs
I'm trying to save 8bit tiff files (2400x1374pixel 300dpi) with no layers, paths etc as a jpeg in CS5 but even with the jpeg quality slider set to 0 it is still giving me a file size over 400kb. The tiff files were coverted to 72dpi @ 900pixel wide.

Launching an Aggregator file using the HTM or the SWF file?
Hi, there, I thought I read somewhere a few months ago that, in order to get your Aggregator project to run properly, you needed to launch it using the HTM file, not the SWF, but can't seem to find where I read that. Now, our engineer is having probl
