I'm sorry to say that I'm confused by what you are trying to explain.
The recovery drive is giving an error. What error are you getting?
You can not delete the recovery drive so that is not something you want to do as it's what is used to recovery your computer in case you have to do a complete system recovery.
How does your printer play into this?
Turn off repair drive that was downloaded? Did you download software?
What model computer are you using?
What operating system?

I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.

iTunes is not installing because its incompatible with your OS. When installing the correct version the new version will update the older version, there is no need to uninstall first.
The last version of iTunes compatible with OSX 10.4 is iTunes 9.2.1

MacBook Pro keeps trying to start but won't.

I have a fairly old (6 years?) MacBook Pro 17", Model A1212, that only starts up when left connected to the power adapter for several hours but then dies. It has become gradually worse over the last 6 months to the point that it now just gets the desktop screen up, at best, then powers off. Sometimes the apple screen comes up. But usually it doesn't get beyond a black screen. I press the on button, fans started whirring, then after a few seconds there's a little wheeze and a beep and it turns off! It sometimes keeps trying to start up on its own but never does successfully.
The battery is fine. The fans are fine.
I guess a visit to an apple shop is due but I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer before doing that.

When trying to start Firefox It hangs and does not load. I get a APPLE PINWHEEL and all functions on the laptop stop. I can only power off to stop the action.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

I have now purchased a new computer and due to the 5 limit I am unable to authorize my new one. Is there anything that I can do about this with out loosing all my purchased music? I use music for my business and it is extreamely important that I don't loose it. please HELP!!!

Use the Deauthorize All function documented in that article; while it won't delete your music, you should have a backup of it anyway.

I have a problem with HP ToolboxFX and the encountered an error and can not recover error msg.

Restarting the software and/or the computer do not fix the error. I have installed the new firmware in my CP2025dn Color Laser it now has version 20110212 firmware. The error msg reports: windows version Win32NT-6.0.6002.131072 and HP Toolbox FX version 004.012.00146. I am running the printer on my wireless router. My computer is a Dell Studio with Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 - 64 bit OS. My wife's older laptop with WIN XP is not having a problem with Toolbox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Toolbox on my computer today also. Where do I look next? Thank you!!!

I can not use the new Itunes. I have managed to erase my shuffle and can not get any songs from my library onto my ipod shuffle now!!!!!! Tutorials do not help!!!!

Ineed a manual to use the new Itunes. The simple easy to use version is gone. The new version is TOO complicated !!!!!!!
