The report of user activity
Can anyone show how the sample report of user activity?
Is there information that the website opened and how much time was running applications? Is used in an active way of running applications?
I will be grateful for your help.

Finding a program of monitoring user activity MAC OS X okazauje be very difficult.
The program aims to monitor sites visited, but:
- Can not save passwords
- It can not sending data to an external server
I can not find such software

but it turns out that the manufacturer no longer supports MAC platform.
Help! Is anyone familiar with this type of software?

According to the user, the names for the Work centers should be as follows:

I have check the data in T-code-CR03, each work center getting two persons, as can be shown below.

In RSA3 it can be seen that both the records are being extracted

In BI , when checking in PSA, it can be seen that the data is also being loaded to BI (Two persons loaded against Work center-KNE33102)

But when loading to the Info Object, one person has deleted. Because of this, in the report level displaying one person.
Note:-Please let me know what is the procedure, in the report level user wants two persons against each work center.

We have LYNC 2013 in coexistence with OCS 2007 R2 and setup is like that user can connect to any pool either sip is exist on OCS 2007 or on LYNC 2013
Do we have any command shell to get the details about which user is connecting to which pool?

But the above link will not work as per scenrio.
The SIP addresses has been migrated to LYNC server. ther is no user host on OCS server. However in communicator client the manual entry is done and OCS pool name is given. OCS pool just redirect the query to LYNC pool.
And we need to idenfy the SIP user request on OCS which are redirecting by ocs pool to lync pool
In other word we can say this question like: How to collect the number of SIP users connections coming on OCS Direct server?

As all users are migrated to Lync Server, all users will be redirected to their home pool.
You want to collect the number of SIP connections coming from OCS server that means you want to count the number of Lync client with manual configuration pointing to OCS server.
This information is stored in SIP session. There is no Lync command to get this kind of information natively.

Adding Dynamic remarks to the report by user

Any idea's of adding text to queries? Our customer is using Crystal Reports based on Baan DWH. On of the functions is adding textblocks to the report and put in remarks / comments.
This will be replaced by BW. Is it possible to add (dynamic) textblocks to the BW reporting which can be filled in by the end-user? Any advice will be great!

Yes it is.
In BW, this can be achieved by using document management. The option will be available to the user via context menu in the report (goto-->documents - text/pdf/img etc). In your case user can choose to create/change/display a 'text' document, which will be attached to the report.

Using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2.
I am getting the error in the subject trying to cache a report, I see that this is described here

But, how does this solve my problem? I still want to use the user as a parameter filter so surely returning a default user as part of the error handling will just give every user the data for that hardcoded user when the report is run?

When we use the User!UserID to filter the data at runtime, the system tries to evaluate the User during Cache Load. At cache time report processing does not have access to the user profile information. Any expression like User!... will cause “has user profile
dependencies” error.
Just as Jerry said, we can write custom code to call the User!UserID in your report to get rid of the UserID during the Caching Operation. Please note that we should use a valid filter instead of "System" like shown in the code to the filter the user.

User getting error while opening the report

Admin can run the report, but users cannot.
This is XI3.1 Cluster version on Linux. User's cannot run the webi document, getting the error below
An error occured when trying to set preferences. Please contact your Business Objects administrator. (Error: INF)
Also when the users try to set the preferences they get this error
An error has occurred: Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Edit objects' (ID: 6) for 'linwe' (ID: 18496663). Please contact your administrator if you require this right.
It looks like it might be issue with the rights, but can't figure out where.
These users are in the developer access level where they have almost all the rights.
Please help

inorder for the users to change their preferences, following right must be enabled
Access Levels --> select the ACL and go to included rights
Application --> Infoview -->Change user's preferences
Can you check whether it is enabled or not?

Designing the report

Can someone nudge me in the right direction... A tutorial on the usage of CR XI R2 would help me design the report. Does anyone have a reference for this kind of material?
Here's what I have so far. I don't know if this is enough information. Let me know if you would like me to explain more. I hope I am not confusing you.
I have a table of clients, debtors and accounts.
The table I am using.
client: clt
debtor: dbr
acct: acc
clients: clt_name1
debtors: dbr_name_1
acct: acc_desc
I have to generate a report for each clients in our Company. Each clients has ten debtors or more with an account description underneath and the debtors information such as account name: dbr_name1, file no: dbr_no, and client ref#: dbr_cli_ref#.
I have a couple of questions:
1) How do I generate a report to each clients with only their debtors information using crystal reports xi release 2.
2) How do I generate the report for the last 30 days.
3) How do I generate the report for only active, closed and paid if not send a message.
,For example: Month End report as of 2009

Sql Server 2008 Reporting Security issue ( added name to Server, some how cannot acces the report ) getting error message

have added name to Sql server , users cannot access the report, getting error message ,
I have give all the permission to this users, so why this users still cannot look at the report,
and getting error message,

If "Credentials supplied by the user running the report" is selected, when the report is run, the user will be prompted to provide credentials. They would need to provide credentials that have the appropriate permissions (e.g., read, execute) to the
database. This prevents the double hop.
If "Credentials stored securely in the report server" is selected, you have to enter the username and password of a user (or service account) that has the appropriate permissions (e.g., read, execute) to the database. When the report is run, SSRS will use
these stored credentials each time to authenticate to the database engine and query the data. Users running the report are not prompted to provide credentials. With this option you can use an Active Directory or SQL Server account.
In order to access/run the report, a user will need to authenticate to SSRS. There are options here as well. You can provide them the link to the report manager and they can authenticate, navigate to, and run the report. You can also provide
direct links to reports that users click in a document or application. At this point the user is typically still prompted to authenticate to SSRS. You can also programmatically call the report using API's and essentially build a proxy that authenticates
to SSRS and open the report.

No data found in the report

Hi All,
When the user runs the report she is not able to get the variable selection screen for currency type in the report, so she is not able to see the data in the report. while all other users are able to get all the required variable selection screen and thus they are able to view the data in the report.
please help me out in this issue.

Execute the report with user credentials and check if there is any authorization failure in T-code SU53. If every thing is fine its better to delete that assignment in the role and reassign the query to the user's role as we are not able to track what exactly is the issue. It might be an authorization issue on that object. Just check it....

Report with user parameter is not runnig

I have created the report with user parameter p_deptno and qyery"select * from emp where depno=:p_deptno";
when i run the report in paper layout a popup kind page will open and ask us to enter the deptno and based on input parameter it fetches record in report.
if i tried the same thing with url :http://localhost:portno/reports/rwservlet?destype=cache&desformat=pdf&report=emp.jsp&userid=scott/tiger@orcl
the parameter window not opening and and blank report will open with coloumn headings.
help me to solve the problem.

Rank function without filter in the report

I have a problem with Rank() function. The problem is the next one.
I have a table with this rows:

In the rpd I have a agregate row as SUM(COST), and I need extract te ranking of this SUM(COST) per user, The sum of user1 is 39,7 and the sum of the user 2 is 43,7. If I show in the report all users, the ranking is correct Rank=1 per user2 and Rank=2 per user1, but the problem is that I only want show the user1, when I add a filter to the report user='user1' the ranking value changes from 2 to 1. I need that the ranking value doesn´t change when I introduce a filter.
Any idea about how to solve this problem?

On the Rank column in the answers edit the formula as given below.
Case when username = 'user2' then Rank(sum(cost)) else 0 end
Then apply a filter on the Rank column as Rank > 0.

Does clicking WESubmitButton request the report twice?

Hi all, I am using a textarea and a WEsubmit button to do a write to the database. THis is done bythe stored procedure processing the write when a parameter contains the value "Write". what I am seeing is if I enter all the values in the initial request of the report ( when user is promted for paramters) a single record is written. The issue I am seeing is when the write request occures from a WESubmitButtton click that the record is written twice to the database. My question is does calling the Report from a WESubmit cause the report to be called twice before being displayed? if so is there a know workaround or do I need to modify the stored procedure to check for a duplicate record on each write ? this would be normal behaviour depending on your boe settings. this is the same as when you press an open new window opendocument link in dashboard manager twice or a press a hyperlink twice that doesn't close down the parent report.
to eliminate reports running a multiplicity of times within a certain time you should see your boeÂ documentation on caching reports...this is out of the realm of the webelements forum i'm afraid.

Customizing the reports

HI,
I want to customize user report to generate a report listing users assigned to more than one user.
I have replaced the Select control with MultiSelect to select more than one resource to satisfy my requirement.
But I am getting one problem here. The Select control returns result in the form of a String where as MultiSelect returns a List object.
Here the Query which returns the users assigned to Resources expects a String operand to perform the operations, Hence I am getting an excpetion as String operand shoould be passed.
Am I proceeding in the right way or not to generate the report of Users assigned to more than one user?.
Can any one has any idea regarding this please reply me ASAP.
