Why am I getting this message on some folders security tab when I try to check the security permissions through UNC\DFS?
If I log onto the server its fine. I can view the security permissions
no problem. I've ran a check disk and checked the share permissions.
I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2.
Any ideas?

Are you using a same user account when checking the permission via UNC and locally? Generally this is caused by permission related settings.
As a quick test, try to give your current account Full Control permission with logged on the server locally. Then try again to see if permission will still not be displayed.

I've a file server Windows 2008 (not R2) with Service Pack 2, 32 bit. I've a shared directory this directory is the target of a remote FTP server. In this directory I've some files (that a user has put in via FTP) but if I try to view their NTFS settings
I get:

According to your description, it may cause by the UAC was enabled. Please try to template disable UAC for a test, then reboot the server to see if it works.

In addition, please try to use Administrator account to access the Security tab. And give the administrators group ownership permission of the folder. Hope it helps.

I just received my acer aspire 1 netbook and i wanted to download firefox. I have used firefox before on my acer laptop but for some reason when I try to download it now i receive an error message similar to this one: :"unable to open this internent site. The requested site is either unavailable or can not be found" I tried downloading versions 3.6 and 4 beta and received the same message.

That is OK.

Windows 8 Remote Desktop Error "The Requested Security Package Does Not Exist"

When my remote host (win server 2008 R2) is configured to use SSL for security layer, RDP from my Windows 8 gets
"An authentication error has occurred. The requested security package does not exit."
When the host is set to use RDP security layer, it works fine.
Registry key solution for Win7 suggested on other posts does not seem to apply to win8.
This is a Lenovo desktop, I uninstalled silverlight and bunch of other OEM installed programs.

This fixed my problem in Windows 8 while connecting to a Windows 7 host. I needed the pku2u entry. I decided to look it up and here's the info for anyone that's interested.

In a scenario, I have a BPM, which makes a synchronous call to R/3 for execution of a rfc enabled Function module, while doing so, it gives an error as a response, which i can see in the MONI:
503 Service Unavailable
The requested application, AFW, is currently unavailable.
The same error is also thrown when the BPM makes a asynchronous connection to a database,
can u help in diagnosing the problem, and help in rectifying it,

Description:The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. Possible Tips: Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
Try to (re)start the application using the Visual Administrator Choose Server --> Services --> Deploy --> View on Application or restart the J2EE engine
The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. How to handle the Request more information in workflow notification

Dear All,
I am developing a custom workflow which has 3 different options to be handled like approve, reject and request more information. approve and reject scenarios i have done and working as expected. However I would like to know how we can capture that the notification is requested for more information so that i can design approvals according to business requirement.

Hi,
When a user uses the request information functionality, the notification can execute a post notification function with a funcmode of QUESTION. When the question is answered, the PNF runs with a funcmode of ANSWER.
Additionally, while the notification is awaiting an answer, the MORE_INFO_ROLE on WF_NOTIFICATIONS will be populated. When the answer has been provided, this is set to null.

Answer the questions and if required sign in with your Apple ID and password - same one you used to log in on this support forum.
You will find an option to send an email to Apple on that page. Compose a thoughtfully worded email explaining your dilemma, and politely ask to have your security questions reset. Hi,
in the subsequent datatargets of your ODS:
if the requests are only rolled up, then you can delete those requests; now if your aggregates are collapsed then you'll have to dactivate them and reactivate them after. If not you can simply delete them.
then delete all the requests from your ODS up to the request right after the missing one. This will deactivate you ODS delta init. This is not a problem since when you'll have finished with the above your ODS and subsequent targets will have a consistent status in terms of data.
Reinit your ODS delta without datatransfer, reconstruct your missing request and the subsequent requests in your ODS.
Reactivate them (not all together as a single activation, but separately).
Then load the delta into your subsequent targets.
Now if the subsequent datatargets are collapsed then you'll have to either reinit with full load or selective delete them. the missing request in your ODS still must be reloaded before!
If you go for selective deletion you'll have to find the right selection criteria based on the data of your ODS. For instance if you can ensure that only a selected period is incorrect (all the ODS requests from the missing one to the last only contain data for JAN08) then you can selectively delete JAN08 from your subseq targets and perform a FULL load selecting JAN08 from your ODS.
Then perform an INIT without data transfer... you can then continue your deltas as usual....

I think it is how the current user information is stored based on your logic.
You might be quering current value again when loading the form (Form load Rule).
you have to tweak your logic, after the user submits the form you can set the username to the one who saved it.
or in form load, write a logic to see if the form was not saved before and then query the username( by using internal field like "formstatue")
