The requested URL /pls/portal/display.jsp was not found on this server.

Hi,
I managed to get ultrasearch running now. The crawling process seems to run smooth. Executing a search gives me the correct result. However, i can not display the documents that are listed in the resultpage.
The link to the document is like this:
http://myportal/pls/portal/display.jsp?type=file&f_url=C:\ultra_docs\sultan\filetransfer\htc\site.doc
The path in the url seems ok to me.
Cliking on this link gives me the following error:
The requested URL /pls/portal/display.jsp was not found on this server.
Please, help me out here :/

Bram

I just tested it by accessing the search page with the following url:
http://myportal/ultrasearch/query/search.jsp
This gives me the same result and the links to the actual documents work fine now too! But it is not working from within portal, the links generated by the ultrasearch portlet give me an error.
The requested URL /pls/portal/display.jsp was not found on this server.
Please Help me Out
thx

I have an application with just one page with a dynamic pl/sql content as the region and i am trying to use the htp package to create some dynamic lists with a submit button. The screen displays properly but whcn I click the submit button I get the error:
The requested URL /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server.
Also when I click on any of my tab items I get the same error. It happens only if I have a dynamic PL/SQL content. If I make it to a HTML region the The tabs starts working.
    Any Help?
    THanks

I would suggest that you have a look at your apache error logs ( $OH/Apache/Apache/logs ) This should give you the exact oracle error being raised.

ps You may want to post the content of the dynamic region as well.

I get this message many times when I submit the page. Haven't changed any code on the page in months, but this started happening yesterday.
Interesting thing is that when I run in DEBUG mode, this doesn't happen. Things work just fine. What is different when running in DEBUG?
I have put validation (unconditional) that does insert and commit into debugging table in database. Does not get to that point. Fails before validations occur.
    Any ideas/ suggestions are appreciated.

    2. What is your Application Express version?
    3. Look at the Apache request log and error log for clues.
    4. Is the problem consistently reproducible?
    5. Can you get this app to fail in this way on apex.oracle.com?

I know I am supposed to check the Apache Server logs but don't see anything.
I am not using Apache as listener but Embedded gateway as listener...
    any ideas?

    Hi
Are you getting this error permanently or it comes sometimes? You may check alert.log also.

  • The requested URL /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found

So I went in today to add a new form to an application and here is what I get....
Any new ITEM I make, I can not make any changes to without getting the error. Blank page, blank region, standard form item, nothing else on page, everything set to default.
Any new pages / regions all work fine.
Any old pages / regions all work fine.
If I even just create an item, go back into it and hit apply, I get the "The requested URL /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found"
    Anyone?

    apex version? listener version?
    web server? version?
DB version?  are you on RAC?
(why do people leave these important pieces of information out???)
personally, if a web site works one minute then fails the next with said error, you have a DNS problem.
either too many entries in the DNS ... or two computers with the same IP address.
when the error page displays, double check that the URL is for the correct host and port (eg not localhost)

  • Import problem: /pls/otn/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server

    Hallo,
I've opened today an apex.oracle.com account. I can run Sample Application, but i can't import my own application, that i developed om my local pc, into OTN workspace.
When I try to import an appication in apex.oracle.com I get the following error :
The requested URL /pls/otn/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server.
The same error i've got when i tryed to import an forum application (from OBE) into otn workspace.
    What can i do?
my local environment: apex 3.2 OracleXe Windows XP
    Regards,
    Roman

When the "wwv_flow_accept not found..." error occurs on Import, what should I be looking for on the server that is broken?Check the apache error log.
This is a new APEX 3.2 install, on a remote server (as opposed to local machine)."remote" relative to what?
All imports fail.Is it at the file upload step, i.e., immediately after you select a file using the browse widget?
Check the database alert log. Maybe the tablespace used by the flows_files user is out of space.

CAN NOT PLAY MUSIC FROM LIBRARY.  MESSAGE READS URL/ITUNES/WIN/10.5/WAS NOT FOUND ON THIS SERVER.
    APACHE/2.2.3 (Oracle) Server at help.apple.com Port 80

I have the same problem, where iTunes seems to work OK, but the server where they maintain their help files is not available. It looks to me like Apple keeps all their help information on a server named help.apple.com, and the people that maintain that server have not gotten around to creating the appropriate help folders for iTunes 10.5. If you go to http://help.apple.com/itunes/win/10.4, you find the help for 10.4. Maybe it's the same as for 10.5, and maybe not.

[Mon Sep 26 09:18:45 2005] [warn] mod_plsql: Stale Connection due to Oracle error 942
    [Mon Sep 26 09:18:45 2005] [error] mod_plsql: /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept ORA-942 ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    [Mon Sep 26 09:18:45 2005] [warn] mod_plsql: /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept HTTP-404 ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
[Mon Sep 26 09:18:45 2005] [error] [client 172.17.49.224] Invalid method in request 0d51d077a

    Hugo,
have you checked the XE forum on this issue ( Oracle Database Express Edition (XE) ) ?
What exactly are you trying to do and what is the error message you get?
To see the error log as you see in Apache, logon as SYSTEM via SQL*Plus and execute:
SQL> execute dbms_epg.set_global_attribute('log-level', 3);The error log will go to the database trace file app/oracle/admin/XE/bdump/xe_s00?_????.trc. Please ignore the bogus error message "Embedded PL/SQL Gateway: Unknown attribute 3" in the error log.
BTW, here are the log levels:
    0 - LOG_EMERG
    1 - LOG_ALERT
    2 - LOG_CRIT
    3 - LOG_ERR
    4 - LOG_WARNING
    5 - LOG_NOTICE
    6 - LOG_INFO
    7 - LOG_DEBUG
Since XE beta doesn't yet support any other languages than English, please try to set the Primary Application Language in your custom application to en-us.
    ~Dietmar.

  • Apex_util.get_blob was not found on this server

    Hi All,
    APEX Version: 3.1.1.00.09
    Database version 11g
I am trying to create a report, with a column having a link to download the file stored as BLOB type in the database.
    I performed the following steps:
*1. created custom report base on SQL Query:*
    select PROGRAM_ID ,
    USER_ID ,
    dbms_lob.getlength(FILE_CONTENT) "FILE_CONTENT" ,
    File_name
    from PGMRECRT_FRMS_USRSUBMTSTATUS
[Primary Keys for the table PGMRECRT_FRMS_USRSUBMTSTATUS are :  Program_id and user_id]
*2. Configured BLOB Download Format Mask for the column "File_Content" as:*
    DOWNLOAD:PGMRECRT_FRMS_USRSUBMTSTATUS:FILE_CONTENT:PROGRAM_ID:USER_ID::FILE_NAME:LST_UPD_TSTMP::attachment:Download
*3. When I run the report I get the Download link in the "File_Content" column.*
*4. When the link is clicked it throws 404 Not found Error, with the following message on the browser:*
The requested URL /pls/apex/apex_util.get_blob was not found on this server.
The Page Source contains the following
    href="apex_util.get_blob?s=3261371303066053&a=101&c=2878703203169482&p=16&k1=147&k2=&ck=01786319873F8A6F1A1344A1B2A17567&rt=CR" alt="Download" title="Download 32KB"
I don't see the second Primary key being passed in the source. (User_id)
I checked the HTTP Server error log, here is the error recorded in the log file:
    [Sat Jun  6 02:22:14 2009] [error] [client 141.144.160.57] [ecid: 1244280134:148.87.1.123:18724:0:2223,0] mod_plsql: /pls/apex/apex_util.get_blob HTTP-404 ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement\nORA-06512: at "SYS.WWV_DBMS_SQL", line 206\nORA-06512: at "FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_DML", line 2409\nORA-06512: at "FLOWS_030100.HTMLDB_UTIL", line 1580\nORA-06512: at line 31\n
Please suggest what is the problem here and how should I go about resolving it.
I have created sample report: Visit following link: [It is SSO enabled]
    https://techbpo-stage.oracle.com:4443/pls/apex/f?p=101:16
    Thanks & Regards
    Pooja

For people who are still searching for a solution:
I think you have to make sure that you select the primary key of the table containing the blob and do not use an alias for this column.
    I first tried following scenario:
    select my_table.pk_id, my_table.description, dbms_lob.getlength(doc.document_data) document_data
    from table1 my_table
    join table2 doc
    on doc.pk_id = my_table.fk_doc_id;
I filled in the correct column attributes but still this resulted in the 500 error.
After some research i tried following scenario:
    select my_table.pk_id, my_table.description, doc.pk_id document_id, dbms_lob.getlength(doc.document_data) document_data
    from table1 my_table
    join table2 doc
    on doc.pk_id = my_table.fk_doc_id;
But still this resulted in the 500 error.
Finally thanks to a lucky guess I removed the alias from the doc.pk_id and added an alias for the my_table.pk_id and everything worked fine.
    select my_table.pk_id table_id, my_table.description, doc.pk_id, dbms_lob.getlength(doc.document_data) document_data
    from table1 my_table
    join table2 doc
    on doc.pk_id = my_table.fk_doc_id;
I also read something about the order in which you select the blob file, I always select it as the last column. I'm not sure if this has any influence on the result.
    Regards,
    Bjorn

  • DL link : apex_util.get_blob_file was not found on this server

I'm trying to make a DL link using GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC and so far no luck.
If you please can take a look here : http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=11910:9:276337790571189::YES:::
    login/pass - guest/tango&cash
    Page 9.
I pass product number = 1 in the element P9_TXT1 and expect to see HREF in the element P9_X which i should be able to DL.
    But the html is
    <a href="apex_util.get_blob_file?a=11910&amp;s=276337790571189&amp;p=9&amp;d=&amp;i=4242569802061169120&amp;p_pk1=1&amp;p_pk2=&amp;p_ck=5E253F61CC71868127E0440E823E383E">Download</a>Which "haply" produces :
The requested URL /pls/otn/apex_util.get_blob_file was not found on this server.
I double check that i'm calling apex_util.get_blob_file_src function.

    pass
Edited by: andrey on Jul 12, 2009 9:01 PM

The PL/SQL Function source value for the item is:
    RETURN 'Download' ;
...and the format mask for the item is:
    DOWNLOAD:DEMO_PRODUCT_INFO:PRODUCT_IMAGE:PRODUCT_ID
I don't think this was meant to be used this way. I think you need a DML process to refer to 9see the &d= parameter value is null in your link).
What documentation were you using that led you to try this?

  • The requested url was not found on this server is displayed when trying to play a video I paid for on itunes

When I try to play my itunes videos that I downloaded it says that "This requested url was not found on this server."  Why?  I paid for it, it s/b stored on my phone in itunes.  It was working fine 2 weeks ago.  I am using my iphone 4

I had a similar problem with a tv show. I contacted Apple Support and got the following instructions:
"please delete the episode from your iPad and then redownload it directly to the device. You can download past tv show, app, music, and book purchases without incurring additional charges as long as what you want to download is showing on your Purchased page. Some content may not be available for download again if its provider no longer offers it on the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
To enable this feature, you must have the latest version of iTunes. It is available on the Apple website:
    http://www.itunes.com/download
The latest version of iTunes will not affect your library or any items in your account.
To learn how to download past purchases, check out this article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519"
I tried it this morning, and it worked.
