The resize widget || disappeared. How do I get it back
The resize widget that I used so often has disappeared on one of my computers. All my computers run OS X lion 10.7.4. All but one have the widget.
It is handy, because often when a column is too narrow in column view to show an entire file or folder name, because it is too long, I doubble click on the widget that looks like two vertical lines, and the column gets wider to the correct width.
Here are two images that illustrate the issue. Image 1 shows the widget at the bottom of the colums, inside the red circle. In image 2 the widget is not visible. How do I get it back?

I had this same issue after I upgraded. Have iTunes re-scan your library for iTunes Match (Click "Match" along the top row of your library -- Songs Albums Artists... etc.). After it finished re-scanning my library I could download songs again from iTunes Match.

If the contacts are still in Address Book on your computer, but just not on the phone, you can tell iTunes to force replace the contacts on your phone with those from your computer. You can do this by going into the Info tab when your iPhone is connected, and checking the Contacts box under the Advanced section at the bottom of the page.
You may also want to backup your Address Book information as well. It's a good idea to make periodic backups of your contact and calendar information in case information accidentally gets deleted or changed. You can find out how to backup your Address Book data here:

Thanks Roger I can now see the name of the website and if I right click on the name it shows me the web address. I used to be able to see the web address e.g. "https//google.co.uk" in this bar without having to right click on the name, is there a way of bringing this back?

The "recently used programs" section on the start menu has disappeared - how do I get it back?
On the start menu, the top few programs are those that I use frequently. There used to be a line, and underneath the line appeared the programs that I have most recently used (other than the frequently-used programs above the line). This bottom section has disappeared - how can I get it back? Running XP with Firefox 33.1.

What on earth makes you think that? He's posted in the Windows category of the Safari community. He has never mentioned Mac OS. He said Safari was installed on his PC in his very first post. Furthermore, the details of his replies to your advice are precisely what you should expect if he was using Safari for Windows, and trying to implement the (inapplicable and unimplementable) Safari for Mac advice in the context of his particular issue. You've got this one very badly wrong from the beginning right through to now, and in that context the implication that he was trying to get advice here on how to do something illegal was not only wrong, but insulting. -

Hiding the Bookmarks menu item is not a default feature in Firefox.
Do you have a Delicious extension installed? <br />

By reinstalling do you mean that you deleted the app and redownloaded it ? Deleting an app will remove the app and its contents. Do you have copies of the PDFs in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library so that you can sync them back ?

Use View -> Status bar ; and click on it so the tick/check mark appears.
Note in the next version firefox 4 the status bar is being replaced see [[What happened to the Status Bar?]], and if you want something similar you will then need to use an add-on.
