I am trying to put my iPhone4 into recovery and then will restore it. iTunes starts extracting the software. But the iPhone reboots and by the time the software has completed extraction, the iPhone can no longer be seen by iTunes.
We have a very small hard drive on our laptop. Each time iTunes does an extraction, it uses up more space on the C: drive.
Nothing frees up that used drive space. Not closing iTunes or rebooting the computer. Nothing.
How do we release / delete these files?

The absolutely FIRST thing you have to do is contact your clients webmaster and get the required specs: frame size, bitrate.
Then you can either export directly out of FCP or take a file into compressor and make it there.

Restrictions on use of softwares

Forstudents & teacher CS6 edition product, As per restriction on use policy "purchases of suit editions are limited to one title per platform per year"... does that mean I can not use these installed software on my computer after one year of purchase and need to pay the price again to use them??? and for any reason if I have to reinstall these softwares on my computer any given time I can not re-install them?

WIFI cutting out all the time, since I downloaded software version 10.8

Ever since I downloaded Mountain Lion 10.8 I have wifi issues. My wifi continually cuts out, I have to turn wifi off and turn it on again to connect. This occurs every 5 to 10 minutes. I have looked at other solutions but none have worked. I have reset everything but the same problem persists. I think its a software issue, any help would be aprrecuated.

Yes, same problem here. It is a widely experienced problem by a host of users that upgraded to 10.8 (it's unclear if it started with 10.8 or 10.8.2). Here's what I've figured out so far, and this is after living with the problem (and trying to fix it now) for many weeks, and perusing many online resources:
The problem in question (that I'm discussing) is one where your Mac network connection completely hangs. Attempts to open a web browser, for instance, hang for about a minute, and then you get the "cannot find the web site" page. Likewise, any network access (ssh, telnet, email, ping) are all completely blocked, as if you had no network at all -- and yet, at the same time, you've got 5 bars on your wifi status and a solid connection to the router. Network status in your settings all looks fine.The most common fix at this point is to either 1) turn off wifi and restart it, which almost always works, or 2) go ahead and restart the router, which annoys the heck out of everyone else in the office but also works fine.
The problem is probably related to an update to the 10.8.2 network stack. Ignore anyone that says something like "reset your router," this is not the issue. This can be verified easily enough: Are any other devices on the router impacted? No? Then the router is fine (here we have about a dozen computers, iPads, and an AppleTV, and a VOIP phone system on the router -- they all keep working fine, it is only the MacBooks that were updated to 10.8.2 that exhibit the problem.
The problem is apparently specific to the 802.11 'n' protocol. We successfully reconfigured our router so that it supports two different networks, one 802.11g "Boss Logic" and one 802.11n "Boss Logic 5Ghz." In other words, we switched it up so that you can use a 'g' network ("Boss Logic") or an 'n' network ("Boss Logic 5Ghz"). All the PC users are happily using the higher speed 5Ghz network -- and all the Mac users are now, unhappily, using the older 'g' network. If your router supports this (having a dual configuration, such as the Apple Airport routers do) then it's a great fix... at some performance cost. We've done this here, and yes, it did absolutely work, no hangs since switching over.
I have read elsewhere that you might be able to continue using the 'n' network, if you change your MTU size to a non-1500 settings. I'm giving this a shot and will see how it goes. (Just go into settings and change your wireless network 'hardware' tab to use an MTU of, say, 1495). Good luck if you try this.
Hope this helps and let's all cross our fingers and hope Apple starts paying attention. It seems like it's been an eternity... but it's probably only been a month or two. But hey getting booted off the network a few times a day can be a really, really annoying experience.

HP Pavilion [Dv600/Dv6700] Recover The Recovery Partition Using Undelete Software

Hey what's up,
My mum bought a used HP Pavilion Dv600/Dv6700 from a friend at work. It came pre-loaded with Windows Vista installed. I wanted to load and restore a backup of her previous laptops operating system which is Windows XP but I'm having difficulties sourcing drivers etc.
I'm not all that familiar with laptops but I've not experinced these troubles before. My dad's laptop came preloaded with windows Vista but he took it into a shop to get windows xp loaded onto it. It screwed up several months later and I did a clean install of XP and had no problems with drivers is this just related to HP or Laptops in general ?
I've looked at the step by step guide on downgrading & upgrading hp notebooks but I don't have the recovery partition to copy my drivers. Can I use software like Supergrub to recover the deleted partition or can I use WIndows Vista 32Bit install disc on a 64bit AMD processor ? It says it supports HP Pavilion dv6700 but read HP release 3 or 4 different discs for similar versions with different chipsets, gpu & processors..
Is it easyier if I just install a fresh copy of Windows 7 to avoid some incapablitys of windows xp. Thanks

It's AMD Turion-x2 64bit processor. Not sure which copy of Vista it came with.. I have since done a fresh install of windows xp. I had no network adapters in device manager when I recovered from Acronis backup so I installed fresh and still no network adapters.. is this due to the missing device drivers ?

Unzip to a folder..use Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on HD",choose Update driver,
Say No to connect, choose Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains, Reboot.

I do understand download speed depends on my internet conneciton speed. But when I plugged in the hard line the download speed increased quite significantly - as in from 12 hours to 47 minutes. Normally Wi-Fi is fairly quick but when it comes to downloading - not. That's why I asked the question. Maybe I need to change the settings on my MacBook Pro.

"Use Twain Software" not working

In Image Capture I need to change the device to "Use Twain Software" I believe this should be seen as an option under the menu "Devices" unfortunately this does not appear as an option for me therefore I can't make the change. Can anyone help?

Yes, I specified that the target is WWV_FLOW_FILES. However, I queried the view and the data was not inserted into it. I'm going to run some tests meanwhile (query the table wwv_flow_file_objects$).
Do I have to configure something else with the file browse besides to set the target to WWV_FLOW_FILES?
