I'm having problems deleting a custom management pack in SCOM 2012. The error is the following:
The selected management pack cannot be deleted. This might be because it is currently being deleted or it has already been deleted. If you think this message is in error, try again later.
Any ideas?

I only have the problem with one unsealed MP.
I can delete other sealed MPs and import them again. So I hope my environment with DB is working well.
I also have deleted all overrides for this pack (in the same MP/xml because it is unsealed), restarted the DB-Server and the SCOM Management Server and also started the SCOM console with switch "/clearcache". All without success
Any idea how I can remove this MP from my SCOM environment.

created an own MP with the same ID but a newer version and started the "Import Management Pack" from the SCOM -Management GUI.
This time I got the Import-error called "The transaction log for database 'OperationsManager' is full due to 'ACTIVE_TRANSACTION'. I also see the same eventlog entry 9002 on the SQL-Server System. Could this be also an hint to
the upper problem of an failed deletion of an MP? A guide how to solve this is on
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/380879/About-transaction-log-and-its-truncation-in-SQL-Se . But I not tried it yet whether it solves the problem. I will ask an SQL expert first and will note the result here later.

This has not helped.
All music is off the ipod.
When I connect to the computer to sync I still have songs that come up grey with the dashed circle.

If they were deleted from the computer and iTunes, the only way to listen to them again would be to insert the CD and listen to them from the CD or rip them from the CD again.

After upgrading a Windows XP Pro SP1 machine to the ZfDagent from the
zfd65u2 patch I receive the following error:

SQL Permissions for the SQL Managment Pack

Hi,
Were implementing version 6.5.1.0 of the SQL 2005 2008 2012 Managment pack. Its going ok, but there is a line...
Add “SQLDefaultAction” to the dbmodule_users database role.
that makes no sense. I can't see dbmodule_users as a database role. Am i being thick?

Set batch management for reasons of cost management item cannot be deleted

Discovery was made that a material should have had batch management MARC-XCHPF selected. Within that time sales orders were created as well as sales order stock. 411E movements were done to get rid of the sales order stock, and it can not be seen in MMBE. MD04 is also clear. New attempt to add batch management in the plant displayed errors - SD Documents exist (orders or deliveries) that have not yet been
processed or that have been processed only in part.

For reasons of cost management, item 000020 cannot be deleted.
Diagnosis
You tried to delete a sales document item for which cost management is carried out. Cost management can exist at item level for
   - make-to-order production
   - make-to-order stock
   - service contract item
Procedure
Enter a reason for rejection at item level.
I found a similar problem on the forum but not really a solution other than throwing in the towel and making new materials.

What I understand from your thread is:
You have chekced batchmanagement in
material master & after working some time you want to remove that tick mark.
First of all one should understand that for what ever reason batch management is ON, you can not reverse it .
Either activation or deactivation of batchmanagement is irreversible.
Oflat SAP had come with a note telling that how to proceed with reversal batch management.
I have gone through that note .Finally SAP wants to take consultancy with some fees to make reversal.
It is all pain ful job.
If you can do it abandom thta material & create new material.
This is the solution I can give.

When I try to delete a line item from sales order below error is fired and it doesnot allows to delete the items which has a WBS element.

I found a similar problem on the forum but not really a solution other than giving a suggestion as "Enter a reason for rejection at item level.".
but when I put the field ORDER_ITEM_IN-REASON_REJ = 'Z1' and ORDER_ITEM_INX-REASON_REJ = 'X',the error is still occurring.
'Z1'-WBS has been cancelled
How can I remove this item from the sales order?

How can we download the latest management pack : microsoft.systemcenter.webapplication.library.mp?

I try to search the whole internet but still unable to find this mp file: microsoft.systemcenter.webapplication.library.mp, I use 2007R2 and import a new MP which need higher version webapplication.library.mp, does it only exist in SCOM2012 installation

If you have a custom pack that references a 2012 version of a library MP, then you probably need to ask the vendor or developer of the customer pack the the library pack. I do not believe MSFT offers download of library packs, specifically. If you're on
SCOM 2007 R2, and this is a SCOM 2012 version of the library, then you cannot import a schema v2 library.

What is the right Management Pack XML Schema?

hi ,when i use VSAE to create a console task (there was no template to generate console task),so i use 2007 r2 authoring tool to generate the xml, then i paste the code in VSAE,but VSAE can not build the management pack , and i also tried

I've run into a similar problem with reporting in the past - I asked the question here, but don't have a thread id for you. The answer I received from the VSAE developer was
basically, VSAE automatically performs a conversion to schema 2.0 during build time, and if it is actually version 1.0 that you are working with you may (will) receive validation errors.
This doesn't help you much, but my solution was to write the pack using version 2.0 schema requirements, regardless if it was for SCOM 2007 or 2012...
Is it a bug??? In my opinion, it is a design flaw.

I've got a little problem since monday.
I put a text.docx on my desk and since I did that the icon stay displayed even when I am on the Internet.
I can't click on it or delet it. It's a bit (extremly) annoying and I would like to know what I have to do if I want to not have this icon displayed anymore.
Finally when I put a movie in full screen mode, the icon isn't visible, but as soon as I quit the full screen mode it reappears.

P-S : as an example, the icon stay displayed even when I am on the Dashboard.

I have recently installed SCOM 2012 R2 in preparation to migrate over from 2007R2.
I have only one agent installed ( a Domain cotroller) and have found the 'One or more Domain controllers may not be replicating' rule is causing Event 10830 error every 15 minutes:
An alert couldn't be inserted to the database. This could have happened because of one of the following reasons:
- Alert is stale. The alert is generated by an MP recently deleted.
- Database connectivity problems or database running out of space.
- Alert received is not valid.

In the registry Mozilla plugins cannot be deleted but one is blocking installation of MS Silverlight update. Any suggestions?

Microsoft has been trying to update Siverlight for the past few weeks - each time failing.
It says that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MozillaPlugins\@Microsoft.com/NpCtrl,version=1.0 is the problem.
I have tried to delete it & the whole Mozilla key but I get 'Error while deleting key. Access is denied', in every case. There are 14 items under MozillaPlugins.
I reinstalled Firefox to see if it would 'kickstart' the string, without success.
MozillaPlugins:Name (Default); Type:REG_SZ; Data:(value not set).
Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am the main administrator - confirmed in cmd - but anything I enter into Permissions is refused.

Did you give yourself write permissions for this registry key?
You may nee to go up a level and apply the permission to sub keys:

HT3964 Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) can delete my data

An SMC reset should not delete any data but it's very important to backup your files on a timely basis regardless.
An SMC may help with the battery charging issue.
