The serial no rec pulled from outbound dly is different to stock overview

Hi, I have the following question with regards to the serial number generation out from VL02N which is having a problem in which the serial number retrieved from VL02N (i.e. via Menu Extras  Serial Numbers) having a different serial number retrieved from MMBE (i.e. via Menu  Environment  Equipment/Serial Numbers).
For example,
I went to MMBE and retrieve the serial number, and having the following records:
Material--SerialNo-Plant-S.LOC-Sys Status
ABCD99283--11354676-1140--1101--ESTO
ABCD99283--11354677-1140--1101--ESTO
ABCD99283--11354678-1140--1101--ESTO

The problem arise when I went to the VL02N and retrieving the serial number, and having the following records retrieved, however, the last two serial number records (see above) does not get pull out.

May I know why some of the serial number records, which are able to be pulled from MMBE, are disappear on the selection screen via VL02N?

I guess you are doing ATP in the delivery. Quantity wise, do you get all 5 confirmed?

The App Store version of Aperture will never ask for a serial number so something got confused on your system. Did you ever have a non App Store version of Aperture installed? Did you download the trial version for some reason?
You can try moving Aperture from the Application folder to the desktop and then going to the App Store. Log in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Aperture and you should be able to download it again.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Any use for RAM pulled from stock 24" iMac?

I am about to configure and order an iMac that my employer, a big university, is buying me as a workstation. They spring for a bottom-of-the-line 20" iMac. I'm going to use my own funds to upgrade to a 24" iMac. I want 4 GB of RAM in it. I can buy first-rate 3rd party RAM for about $50-60 less than Apple's upgrade cost at my university's special ordering and configuration page. This isn't a lot, and reckon using Apple's RAM might help if something goes wrong (I've heard that some problems are blamed on 3rd-party RAM). But upgrading aside from Apple might be more attractive if I could figure out anything to do with the 2x1 GB sticks I would be pulling from the machine. Can anybody suggest a likely use for them? I have a G5 DP 2GB machine from 2005, but I assume this RAM can't be added to that.
Any suggestions for how to use that RAM would be very much appreciated. I am also posting a separate question about upgrading the stock video card to the GEForce model.

I haven't really answered my initial question: what use can I put the 800 DDR2 SDRAM pulled from the iMac to? If I can find something to do with it, then that changes the price equation further in favor of 3rd party RAM. As it is, for non-generic RAM the savings is about $50. One hears that Apple often blames technical problems on 3rd party RAM. $50 might not be worth it to run that risk. But if the 1 GB chips could go into, say, an old iBook G4 (well, I'm sure that won't work) or some other technology I have around me, then I'd have a reason to have those chips in addition to the ones running the new iMac.
You quite piquantly pointed out that they ought to have some use, but that you have experienced the same dilemma. I'm hoping somebody else might have a bright idea here.

Aperture requires the serial number each time

I transferred all the data and apps from my old 24" iMac to my new 27". Now every time I start Aperture, it demands that I input the serial number again.

Pro Applications do not migrate well. The first thing to try would be to reinstall Aperture; then it should suffice to enter the serial number once more, from and administrator account.
You may have migrated an old ProAppSystemID file, that needs removing, check, if you still have an old file "ProAppsSystemID" in your System Library.
Quit Aperture.
Go to your MacintoshHD and open the folder "Library", then "Application Support", then "ProApps".
Remove the File "ProAppsSystemID" to the Desktop, if it exist and restart Aperture.
Reenter your serial number, hopefully for the last time.
Sometimes Aperture writes this file to a temporary directory, when it cannot write to the Library. If the above does not work, look at the temporary directory /tmp
Use the Finder's "Go" menu
Go > Got to folder and enter /tmp into the textfield. If you see ProAppsSystemID there, move it to its proper location in /Library/Application Support/ProApps.
Aperture must be running, and you will have to wait a few minutes to be seeing the file appearing the /tmp directory.

How are you supposed to get help from Apple if you don't know what your serial number is? They say to input the serial number of the "product" that you are asking about. Since my problem is how to deauthorize/authorize computers, and they are saying I have more than 5 (which I have never owned more than 5 computers in my life), I can't imagine what serial number they mean. Does it mean your desktop computer? If so, which one? Do they mean your device? LIke your iPhone, iPod or whatever? Do they mean the software ON one of your computers and/or devices? If so, which program, and on which computer/device?
We have three operational computers, one does not have iTunes on it. Since Apple is saying I have more than 5 authorized computers, and I can't imagine what they are, I am afraid to deauthorize all my computers. See what I mean? I just wanted to ask the question about how I can find out WHICH computers Apple thinks I have authorized, so I can decide if it's safe to deauthorize them all or not. You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

There's actually an even simpler solution that doesn't include buying a new version of Logic. He can use his original version easily. Of course, that depends if the OP knows how to effectively use his computer though...
