I am newbie to Jdeveloper .When i try to run my jsp file it gives me this error....
The Server Instance cannot be started because the Integrated Weblogic domain was not built successfully.
and the log file shows..

If this doesn't help then delete the C:\Users\Jignesh\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.2.36.55.36\ and restart

I am using a Linux X64 and running JDeveloper 11g R2, J2EE Edition Version 11.1.2.1.0.
I am having an error when i Run my JSP Page. It says:

Use a supported JDK (1.6.something, not 1.7) is what the original poster didn't do.

I am using new version of Jdeveloper . i.e 11.1.1.6.0. I am getting "The Server Instance cannot be started because the Integrated Weblogic domain was not built successfully." error whenever i am trying to run a simple jspx page.

Welcome to OTN.
Can you try the following.
1. Close JDev.
2. Remove the DefaultDomain folder under your [url http://tompeez.wordpress.com/tag/system-folder/]System Folder.
3. Start JDev
4. Run your jspx page.

Problem running a jspx page on 11.1.2.4.0 on the integrated weblogic server with 11.1.1.6.0 already installed

i have installed a different version of JDev 11.1.2.4.0 as per my new job requirements and i am unable to run my .jspx page ... i already have 11.1.1.6.0 installed and running ... the following is the error that i am getting... can anyone help me with this....

I hope you did not install the 11.1.2.4.0 into the same middleware_home as you isstalled the 11.1.1.6.0. In this case you need to install both again.
If you installed the 11.1.2.4.0 into a different (empty) middleware home you should check the log file, which exact error occurred during the install. The location of the log can be found in the log window.
Anyway you should remove the system11.1.2.x.x.x/DefaultDomain before trying again.

I am a student and new to oracle and would like to do my graduation project using oracle database and jdeveloper. I installed oracle jdeveloper 11g on windows 7 32 bit, I carried out a simple adf program. But when I run the program it gives the following messages:

I modified the jdev.boot file as suggested but still resulted to the same error. (note: The "C:\Oracle\Middleware" is not recognized)

The target comp.java cannot be started because it is not a runnable target

I am using JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3.0.4 (SU4)) on Windows Server 2003. After compiling java program, when I try to run it, it gives following message:
"The target comp.java cannot be started because it is not a runnable target."
Could anybody help, what is problem? Do I have to make some configuration?

if comp.java doesn't have a main method the surely it compile but will run since you need to a main method in order to run the your java program.

I'm tying to run the Tree Binding example (ADF UIX Tree Binding Sample) -- (http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/jdev/index.html).
I have defined an application workspace and DB connection for it, but get this error when I attempt to "run" the ViewJSP project.

Running JDev 9051 against DB9i. I am new to this version of JDev, but have familiarity with the previous releases (904x).
What do I need to do here? How to I configure JDev and to make "structs-config.xml" a "runnable" target?

You need to run one of the components in struts-config.xml, like a JSP page or struts action.
Select the starting page or action in struts page flow, right mouse and choose run.

What is the URL to the Enterprise Manager in the integrated weblogic server included in the JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 package?
There is a server running on http://127.0.0.1:7101/ , but if I click on the first link I see on right panel "Go to Fusion Middleware Control" , it redirects to http://127.0.0.1:7101/em , where a PAGE NOT FOUND 404 error is issued. Do you have any idea about this problem?

The integrated WLS does not have the EM installed. So you can't access it. However, you can install the EM in the embedded WLS if you like and have memory to spare.
