The server lost all my sync data after new OS install (I know my pass & key); How do I get it back?

Ive been using sync on both my laptop and desktop in windows 7 and linux mint. Its been working great cross platform, but I recently formatted my drives and reinstalled everything. I obviously didn't save the Firefox passwords because I trusted the sync server to have it all. After a fresh OS install, I installed the latest ver of Firefox, logged in to my sync account and selected the default option for sync (both ways) knowing that the server has all my data and will download it onto my newly installed Firefox.
Unfortunately the server doesn't seem to have my data anymore as it didn't download any passwords I had saved and sync since before the full format/installation process.
How do I get it back now? Does the server has a roll back function?

Thank you again for your kind and prompt reply. I really appreciate it. I think the fact that I am transferring stuff from my old desktop PC to a new laptop has saved me. I copied all the apps from iTunes on the old desktop to a flashdrive, then added those apps (via Explorer!) into iTunes Media. Then I synched the phone. I have got all but 45 apps back, including the data!!! How awesome is that! It's 9.50 pm here in Australia and I have been sat in front of all this technology for about 15 hours now, so I'm giving up for the night. Perhaps tomorrow, somehow the lost 45 apps will magically appear. I haven't quite worked out which ones I'm missing as I'm so tired.

As Lawrence Finch suggests you can recover more recent information if you have a more recent iCloud backup.
To avoid this problem in the future you should check the iTunes settings when your phone is connected. Make sure iTunes is not set to sync automatically when your iPhone is connected. Another step to take is to give your new iPhone a unique name that is different from your old iPhone. Finally, the best way to charge an iPhone is to use the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a good wall outlet. -
Can anyone help I have lost my SETTINGS app on the opening screen of my iPad and can't find out where to retrieve it. I have re set the factory settings but it did not re-appear. Without this app I can't change any settings. Thanks if anybody can help with idiot guide instructions I would be very grateful.

Lost all my music in my library when I update to 10.5.8, how can I get it back?
When I updated to 10.5.8, I had backed up all my files and some I did as zip. files as not to take up a lot of space which I did not have. When I went to un-zip myn music Library, this is what I got. help. If you need more information just ask. thank you

What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located. Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed). Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.

As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc. -
Hi, don't know if this even right forum but: when I first got my imac in summer 13 I loved the convex apppearance on the internet screen. I downloaded an update and it disappeared. Can I get it back? Does anyone know what I am talking about? I know that this is quite trivial, and it does not affect what I do, but I liked it.

I havent' took any backup of my notes in icloud. The moment I enter the password after restore my notes will be empty. The only option to get notes back is that after restore skip entering icloud password. But any time I enter icloud password anywhere again my notes will be empty. I have huge data saved in my notes. Apple need to look into this issues very seriously. This is the 5th time I restoring my iphone today just to get my note back.I have the issue with losing all my notes and I don't even know why. I did a reset of my phone yesterday and now when I go to purchaed to download my paurchsed tabs there is nothing there.
I see them in my ipad but they are not in my itunes app section either.
I searched for one in the app store and it usually said "open" or had the cloud icon with the little arrow to downlaod again (free). But none of that shows up at all this time. All the apps that I'm missing show up in the pp store for me to buy again like I never purchased them at all!
What's going on?

I have purchaed, free and paid, 618 apps.
In my phone apps to add to my phone when I plug it in my computer only 266 apps show up.
In my itunes "puerchased list" only 266 show up.
Thank God I have not updated my ipad. There I went to my "purchased" under the ALL list in the app store and there I do see my 618 apps!
Where did my other 352 apps go? Which many were paid.
I want my apps back.

When I open up iphoto and click on the events tab then double click on an event, it used to show minis of all the photos in that event. Now it shows only one photo at a time. How do I get it back? Can you help?
On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

The desktop was rebuild too, not the same anymore and all aliases gone.I suspect you didn't back up your data before the update - that would have been your first insurance. At the least, you could have saved your most important documents. I realize you probably don't want to hear that, but it's a good way to avoid problems.
It would be great to get a few answers:
1. What did you update? Was it a software update, a firmware update, or something else?
2. Do you use external drives? Or is it just the HD on your MBP?
3. Why did you "rebuild" the desktop?

Events replace rolls (if your rolls are named - NOT the default rollxxx name - they will come across as is - to me events are rolls with much more capability and a new name - some people are VERY putoff by the change (but most love it) for reasons that I simply do not comprehend
10) What is the effective (or advised) maximum library size? I've probably got over 60GB of images in my libraries now, with 20,000 images or so. If 7 can readily digest them (and preserve all my albums, etc.), then I'd love to combine them into one, unless that will kill performance, make the database unstable, drive backups into interminable waits, etc.
The advertised max is 250,000 photos - I have about the same number of photos as you in about 1/3 the space - there are a few users here with libararies your size. With iPhoto Library Manager it is easy to maintain multiple libraries if you choose
