"The settings saved on this computer for the network"

Well, I was bored and I thought it would be cool to put a password on my wireless router, and it ended up messing up all 6 laptops in the house...
This is probably a frequent question but I've looked it up and many people say the solution is to go to "manage wireless network" and to remove what is there, which did not help.
Please I need help

What is the operating system installed on your computers?
What is the model number of the router?
Normally this issue gets resolved by removing old network from manage wireless networks.
Once you remove all the networks from the list, close all the windows and then try connecting to your wireless network.

I just installed Airport Extreme. It works as a wireless network on my Macbook. It won't connect with my Windows Visa PC. Message reads: "settings saved on this computer for the network don't match requirements of the network." I seem to need to enter a security key/passphrase to connect to the PC. Where do I find them?
    Thanks for your help.

I assume that you have Wireless Security enabled on your AirPort's wireless network. The issue maybe that the PC is unable to use the WPA password itself and will require using the Equivalent Network Password instead.
To get this password, you will use the AirPort Utility from the MacBook:
Start the AirPort Utility > Select the AirPort base station > Manual Setup
Now, before doing anything else, go up to the utility's menu bar at the top of the screen, and then, choose "Base Station," and then, Equivalent Network Password from the drop-down menu. You will see two items: 1) WPA Password, which should look familiar to you, and 2) WPA Pre-Shared Key. It should be a long hexidecimal set of numbers and letters. Jot down this second item.
You will want to use the value you just jotted down when entering the password from the Windows Visa PC.

Hi apple. in the Keynotes about the new iphone you say..
    1:28 p.m.
Wi-Fi calling is a new feature for making high-quality calls when cell conditions are poor.
The question is Work That? i no see the change for me POOR signal here on my office..
my carrier att. have very Poor Signal here on Aguadilla PR.. i take this PHone for this keynotes about the wifi calling is a new feature...
please i need a new respont.. and check the security about iphone Someone call reply the text messenger from the Block area.

It sounds as if you only had one line with an upgrade available. So you can only upgrade one line. For you to upgrade as well, you will have to wait until your upgrade is available. You can check that at MyVerizon. That's just how it works. All carriers and phone brands are the same. I have to wait until February to upgrade. The only thing you can do to get the new iPhone, is add a new line. But then you're paying for a line you don't need.

  • 2011 Essentials "The backup versions on this computer and the server do not match"

I have been unable to get one of my client computers to backup successfully. The first error was it could not successfully take a snapshot. I finally figured out it had to be the GPT disk issue, so I installed the KB2781278 hotfix on the server. Restarted
server and restarted workstation. Now, I get the above error about the versions not matching. Additionally, if I try to configure the workstation backup on the server, it says the backup is not successfully setup. An unknown error prevented the server from
performing the task. Both services are running, btw. Update, just realized I can't configure any backups from the server. Time to uninstall hotfix? Any advice for a frustrated user? Thanks!

i have the same issue - WHS2011 - laptop with GPT disc
installed hotfix KB2781272, rebooted server, removed connector from laptop - rebooted - reinstalled connector - rebooted
    now get backup version mismatch
tried reinstalling 2781272, but says already installed (haven't tried removing yet)
can't find KB2934953 in windows update
     mark
can't backup any of my existing non-GPT systems either
My KB2934953 appeared in an "optional" update in Windows Update. Maybe there is a way to install it directly. KB2934953 is what solved my problem, finally. Now, if I could just get the Pro Pack to install...

  • I want to see the history of the mozilla browser in my computer for the month of November 2013 but I can not be you that there is a solution that is very urgent

on my browser history are displayed months since December 2013 until now but I want to see the month of November 2013 to help me find the solution that is very urgent

    Hi Maha123,
If your Firefox history only goes as far back as December, I'm afraid it's unlikely that you'll be able to retrieve information from any earlier.
It might worth contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as they may have logs of the websites you visited in November.

  • Windows 7 and BT Infinity - 'settings saved on thi...

    Hi All.
I'd be really grateful if someone can help with the below problem.
We switched to BT Infinity two months ago and initially had no problems.  However, every time we try and connect to the internet with a PC or Laptop running Windows 7 we get the following message: 'The settings saved on this computer do not match the requirements of the network'.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the connection; checked that everything is correct and reset the router.  After resetting the router and changing the details of the connection, it works again, but once turned off and on, it has lost the connection again and displays the 'settings' message.  I also have a Mac, and iPad and iPhone  - all of which have no problems whatsoever with connecting to the internet.
    Details:
    BT Infinity
    Windows 7
    Belkin Dongle.
    Many thanks

If you do a Google search, its a very common problem with Windows 7 and Vista, with no real solution.
I assume that in your case, the computer simply fails to connect to the wireless network?
What may help, is changing the encryption on the home hub, from wpa/wpa2 to wpa only, as that only leaves one method of authentication.
It may also be worth seeing if there are any driver updates for the Belkin dongle.

  • Backup cannot be saved on this computer...

I am getting the problem "Backup cannot be saved on this computer." The first thing I did was uninstall itunes. And I uninstalled it exactly as described by apple on their website. I then went through and double checked to make sure that all apple files had been removed. Next I went through the process of deleting the "Apple Computer" folder in users\"username"\Appdata\Roaming as to make sure that there were no other backup files out there. I then reinstalled itunes. I then configured itunes to not automatically backup, so that I could manually initiate the backup.
When I plugged in my phone, I no longer get this Backup cannot be saved on computer error, but now it starts the backup but seems to just get stuck. In the status bar it says "Syncing 'iPhone' (Step 1 of 2) Backing Up". The bar itself is the scrolling black and white bar. Do I just need to leave it for a very long time? It does not seem to be backing up to me. I know backing up does take a long time, but I would think the process takes the most time on Step 2, not Step 1. Can anyone help? I feel itunes is getting hung up somewhere...

Ok. After reading a million forums, here is what I did to fix it.
I Deleted the back up manually in the AppData/roaming/Apple Computer/MobileSync/backup
Then copied my entire photo directory from the iPhone4 (directory: 80AAAAA) to my desktop as a back up.
Then removed all files from this directory from iPhone4 so now it is completely empty.
Reran the backup and sync and everything is right in the world again.
This seems to be the most common fix now as most of the time the "Backup Cannot Be Saved on this Computer" is caused by a corrupted photo or video file in the 80AAAA directory.
    Good Luck!

Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

  • ITunes could not restore the iPhone because the backup could not be saved on this computer

    Dears,
Today I planned to update my iPhone 4 to iOS7.
After update while my iPhone was connected to the computer, it didn't work and iTunes asked me to restore my iPhone before I can use it.
Well, I had to click Ok and iPhone was restore to factory settings and removed everything.
Now I went to iTunes again to restore the entire backup I created eariler for the photos, videos, contacts and everything 20+GB.
The iTunes starts the restore process but stoppes in the middle of the progress and gives the error:
iTunes could not restore the iPhone"My iPhone Name" because the backup could not be saved on this computer.
I tried 3 times but no avail.
If my C: drive is almost full and it might be the issue, can I move my backup files to another location D: drive for example and restore them to my iPhone?
    Please help me.
    Thank you.

I get the same issue w/ an iPad that I just updated to the latest iOS.  I made the backup before upgrading the iOS.  Now when i try to restore that backup made 35 min or so ago, I get this error.  Help!

I have a new iPod Touch and one apple ID. I want to use My laptop aswell as my desktop computer for the one ipod, using the same apple ID. I have music on both computers and want to merge the two without losing any music or apps. How do I do this?
My iPod has music and apps from my apple ID that I downloaded to my iPod via iCloud and some apps that I got free from the store, straight onto my iPod, but my laptop has some music on it aswell, separate from my other library. I want to put the music from my laptop into my iTunes library which I want to use on both computers. Is it possible to do this?
    Thanks.

    - You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.
Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.
    - If y wnat to switch syncing libraries/computer see:
go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

If all the synced media like music is in the iTunes library of the second computer it is very easy.
