The setup process freezes when installing CS4 on OSX 10.7.5
It works right up until the time it actually begins the install. The screen says "Currently installing Adobe Anchor service CS4". It's the very beginning of the install, 0%.
I let it sit to see if it eventually would do something, but it sat overnight and is still in the same spot. If I do a force quit it says not responding. I'm not sure where to start the troubleshooting process. Any help is much appreciated.

The subject header just about says it all. This is the first action I took with MAX - it is a fresh install. The file I wanted to save was still written and the FP seems to be working ok. However, I need to know what happened.

I did a research on your error message and it seems this problem was introduced with MAX 4.6. This version switched to a new error reporting mechanism and reports even errors that are which are not critical to your task.
These errors typically show up as "unexpected" and if your error falls into this category have a look to this KB for further assistance.
If it doesn't fall into this category, your could try to go back to the MAX 4.5 or 4.4.. Of course you would need to reinstall some components and might not be able to use newer drivers at all.

My built in FaceTime app on my iPod touch will not proceed from the email verification step of the setup process. I have tried going into settings like app support showed but when I click FaceTime it just shows the sign in screen just like before and does the same thing. Please help me to fix this.

I am installing SQL Server 2012 Developer (from ISO image written on DVD), my machine has Windows 7 (Edit: Windows 7 with service pack 1) on it. This machine already has SQL Express and SQL 2008 R2 Express installed in it.

Hi All,
I am having a hard time finding any info on this activation error, and I really can't get to the bottom of it. When I enter my companie's activation code for the BES 10 network, it gives me the following message:
" Device activation can't be completed because the setup process or a training tutorial is running on your device. Try again later."
It would be nice if the msg could be a little more specific! But anyway, I have tried all the traditional fixes, battery pulls, re&re to BES, etc. but still nothing. My last option is to wipe and see if that works but curious to see if anyone has run into this before.

Cannot install USB device, install wizard freezes when installing SiLib.sys
Hello,
I have installed LabView and all the software required for running a program for tremor evaluation. When I plug a TremorScope via USB connection it starts Hardware Installation wizard, but the installation does not complete and system freezes when installing SiLib.sys. The OS is Windows XP.
Do you have any solution how to finish the installation or what is going wrong. Thank you for your help.Why don't you ask the vendor of the device? It does not have anything to do with LabVIEW.

Getting the "beach ball" freezes, when switched to Intel 330 120gb SSD in my blackbook (2006, C2D, 10.6.8).
But switching to Crucial M4 SSD, everything is just fine & great~
Any genius, know why?
Do I need to enable TRIM for Intel 330 SSD (Sandforce)?

-Both tried clone OS & clean install OSI just installed a 120 GB 330-series Intel SSD in my late-2008 aluminum MacBook and I have experienced the beachball problem on a fresh install of Lion and a fresh install of Mountain Lion. I never saw this behavior with my old Western Digital 500 GB HDD. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to avoid the "freezes" associated with the 330-series SSDs?

I've just upgraded my software to 10.8.5 and have discovered this morning that the autofill feature freezes when I try to use it. I have worked through all of the suggestions in HELP. The autofill prompt appears when I start to fill in a form but doesn't then provide the option box to select autofill from my contact card, the autofill prompt remains on the screen and can only be cleared by closing Safari and then reopening it. This never happened before and in fact autofill has been working perfectly up until now.
You can create another iCloud account easily enough, but you will only be able to create a new @icloud.com address to go with it, not @me.com - and you can't transfer your @me.com address from the other account.Creating a new account will have no effect on the existing one.
However you don't need to create a new iCloud account to create an additional ermail address. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

While you can delete aliases, you cannot delete the address you created when you opened the account. -

What do you mean by "documents"? Word or Pages files, spreadsheet files?
Also, on your device, in Settings>iCloud, you have to have an on/off setting for Docments&Data. If not what kinds of entries do you have on that screen?
