I want to make a grid. Apple said Pages will do the job. I need to change the grid to 1 in. x 1 1/2 in. squares. What tutorial can I use to show me how to do this?
A calendar is not difficult nor does it take long once you know where the dates fall.
Start with a basic month template table.
1. Click on the table icon on the Toolbar to create a basic table for one month
2. Click on the resultant table > Inspector > Table > Headers & Footers > 2nd button > 1
3. Inspector > Table > Body Rows: 6 > Body Columns: 7
4. Inspector > Metrics > Size > Width: 7 cm/in > Height: 7 cm/in
You can drag resize the whole month to your liking afterwards
5. Select the entire header row > Inspector > Table > Edit Rows & Columns > Merge Cells > Type in a month
6. Type Mon in first cell & Tue in 2nd cell of of 2nd row > Select both cells and drag the white dot in the bottom right corner sideways to fill the cells with the days
7. Do the same with the dates in the cells below
8. You can fill the spare dates at the beginning and end of the month if you like and maybe change them to a paler grey.
9. Style and position the text as you like it.
10. If you don't want to see the grid or want different strokes, colors etc:
Inspector > Table > Cell Borders/Cell Backgrounds etc
When you have the first month looking the way you want, option drag out copies sideways to make the rest of the months.

my photoshop elements and Lightroom serial numbers won't work for my new mac. I bought these softwares via download on my windows laptop but returned that laptop because the quality was not great. I decided to buy a mac and now can't use my serial numbers to download the software.

can't reload Photoshop elements 7 on my windows 7 operating system. Everything goes well and it appears to be installing. All of the sudden the Installer starts to roll back everything and error message shows up saying I can't use this product at this time.
How do I do that? I'm the only user on the laptop - I kind of assumed I already was running the install as the admin.

How do you lock the ipad so only one app can be used
I want to force a student to communicate using an ipad communication app. I want the only thing on the screen to be that one app. How do I lock the app so it is the only one that can be used on the ipad? Is there a way to lock a page? ie when he has navigated to the correct page to prevent the child from exiting and make him make a choice from that page?

To try and lock a web browser to a single page you'll need to investigate third-party browsers such as MobiCIP or the McGruff browser and see if they allow you to lock to a single page. Safari in iOS 6 or earlier has no controls and in iOS 7 allows you to restrict to a given site or set of sites but not to a single web page.

You can use any brand or model of WiFi access point you wish, if that's what you mean. I've used Cisco, D-Link and others as well as Apple's own Airport access points.

When click the email icon on my iphone, it opens on one email only. I can not go to the next or previous email, a different email or anything. It only gives me the option to move that email! How can I stop this. Its been working perfectly well before!
Now as you may know there is some icons at the bottom of the mail app, at the top left conner you should have the inbox button and on the upper right conner you should have two arrows to shift between emails. If any of those options works try :
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings
If that does not work try to re add the account
Last but not least, restore as new.

Safari is the only application that can successfully use the internet.
Dear all,
I have been having internet problems for the past couple of weeks, that started fairly suddenly. The problem is that any of my internet-using applications cannot use the internet, apart from Safari. Browsing and downloading through Safari work seamlessly, but all other uses of the internet fail.
For example, Messenger for Mac gives me a message indicating that I am not connected to the internet. Skype also does this, and the iTunes Store tells me that the host is down, and that I should check my internet connection and try again. Software Update is another application that cannot function as a result of this problem.
I am living in student halls at university, so my internet connection is an ethernet cable plugged into the wall, and therefore I have no access to the behind-the-scenes things. I have contacted my internet provider (Ask4), to ask if they'd changed anything, but they said not, but are very willing to do anything they can to help me.
It has been suggested to me that I simply create a new location in network settings, and that this would remedy the problem, but it didn't work.
Another suggestion was to temporarily disable the firewall, but this also didn't help.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try next, because I'm all out of ideas, and I can't find anyone with the same problem.
Any help would be well-appreciated.

Tomi figured it out. reboot the phone. its an ios4 bug that once you turn the orientation lock on once and back off, the photos wont rotate and you have to reboot. hopefully a fix comes soon

We currently have two ipods on my laptop (my laptop Vista). Last week we purchased another laptop(Windows 7). Both laptops use the same email address.I'm not sure what to do so he can now use his ipod on the new laptop. Please give specific instructions.

Create an Apple ID - Apple - My Apple ID
Sign out of the current Apple ID and in with your newly created one in these places:
Settings > iCloud > Delete Account then sign in
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
Settings > FaceTime
If you want to still share purchases, use the same Apple ID here:
Settings > iTunes & Apps Stores
Otherwise, sign out and in with the new Apple ID -

If you forget your passcode there is only one way to remedy the situation.
Put your phone in recovery mode and restore the device using iTunes.

I wasn't able to use FaceTime or iMessages and found out it was because the "set auomatically" button was off under date & time in the settings area. Why does tha button turn off?
I wouldn't suggest going to get it yourself. You could find yourself in a situation you cannot get out of and could get hurt. Second, as stated before, it is more for misplaced or lost devices, not stolen devices. Many police agencies do not feel they have probable cause, just from your statement on a map location to justify attempts to recover the device. There have been many posts from others who have had devices stolen where the police will not confront someone based on that map location. I understand you are impacted by the theft, but this is what we have insurance for. To protect your content, from now on I suggest you put a passcode on the device. I hope you have changed all of the passwords for accounts you had on the device, since all of your content and data was accessible to the thief.

This discussion will explain in great detail how you can sync to a new computer. Give it a look. After you get the new computer set up to sync, you can try downloading iMovie in iTunes and then sync it to the iPad.

Now that we have a better idea of what you were trying to do ..... Give this a try. This has worked for a number of people that had issues with apps that would not update.
Check iTunes and see if you have a pending or stalled download in there. If you do, finish that download or delete it if you can.
If that doesn't work or if that was not the problem, go to Settings>Store >Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad, Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Then go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if the apps will update.

Multisim toolbars are missing and cannot be re added by right clicking
In multisim 10 tool bars were disabled. I tried to update to Multisim 10.0.1 to resolve. Now the tool bars are all missing and there is no file menu. Also right clicking on the menu bar does not give any options.
