My Iphone 4 has locked me out. Homescreen will show up but cannot get slider to open keypad. SOmetimes if I tap enough things the key pad will display. When I enter the passcode it will not register. If I hit each passcode number twice it will register but then tells me I have the wrong code. I also have boxes and rectangles that appear to highlight items which never used to come up. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Moving along, press and hold both the power button and home button together for about 10 seconds. Then, press the power putton to turn it back on. -
Pages will not open on iPad. Icon just flashes and then nothing. Numbers works great. Pages works on iPne great.
The app is crashing for some reason. Even though it is only flashing and will not open, it may still show up in the task bar. So try quitting Pages and then restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps.
Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

Other iPad 2 and iPhones work properly.Do you mean that it will not launch a web page? It sounds like that is what you mean since you reference the other iPad and iPhones as working properly.

Magazine ( Dirt Bike mag ) will not open on iPad. It will open on iPhone. Tried deleting on iPhone, but still will not open on iPad. Running latest ios6. Used to work on iPad. Seems to try to open then goes back to main iPad screen. Perhaps began acting up when updated and cleaned up iPad or when recently installed on iPhone5. It works on iPhone now, but no longer on iPad. Deleted from iPhone, but still no workie. Downloaded from cloud back to iPhone. Works there, but not iPad.
What are the attachments? If they're a file type the ipad can't natively open then you could have issues and may need an app to handle them.

My IPod Touch has a small crack at the top of the screen and now the slider will not work to unlock it. Is the cracked screen the problem?
To get pass the passcode lockscreen, recovery mode and restoring should help: iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

Downloaded a book from itunes, works on iphone6, but will not open on ipad air. "not formatted correctly ". Any ideas ?

If you continue to have issues opening the book in question on your iPad Air due to a format error, you may want to try deleting the copy on your iPad, then redownloading it directly to your iPad from the iBook Store. I am trying to import developed images from LightRoom 5 Photoshop 6 for further editing. I am receiving this message and the images will not open.....'Could not open scratch file because the file is locked, or you do not have necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file. How do I fix this? I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond with terms and procedures that a computer ignorant user, such as me, will understand. Thanks.

I have a Mac G5 running OS 10.5.8. I downloaded Firefox 4 and now the program will not open at all. I get an error message that reads --
"You cannot open the application 'Firefox" because it is not supported on this architecture."
I am also unable to find a link to download the previous version (3.6) that was running fine. (I'm using Safari to contact you.)Same proble here, although the Firefox system requirements says it is OK to have PowerPC G3 G4 or G5 ( I have G5 2GHZ)
My solution; very simply use timemachine to restore the previous Frefox 3.x
