Hi - I have a 7 year old beloved ipod mini. Yesterday the music stopped working out of the blue. I can hear the instruments, and some singing, but not the background singers. I've tried re-setting the mini and I've tried switching headphones. Any advice?

Make sure it the Equalizer setting did not get set to some odd setting. From the main iPod screen, select Settings. Look for an EQ setting, and set it to OFF.
If that does not help, at the bottom of the Settings screen, there is an option to Reset All Settings. Try doing that, which resets the iPod to all default settings.
If that does not help, you should do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. Select the iPod in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, on the Summary tab, there is a button to do a Restore. This will erase the iPod, re-install the software, and set it to default settings.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

I imagine that... a limit of sound because ears problems understand that...but in my case i need power i´m not buying a better surround for the gym (the owner must do, but everyone use cd´s and i not see me record cd´s again) ...its the only problem for this iPod to be perfect.... The point is that there are four i product users for one computer in my house, and not everyone wants the same music on their device. Like I said before, the ipod is not syncing to the new library even though I plug it in when the new itunes library is pulled up. It keeps syncing to the old library...

I'm having the exact same problem. I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes on my iMac and ever since I did the store is a blank white screen. I can get my library content but the store is a no go. Is there any one out there with a solution?

I found a solution !!!
The problem is that the font SEGOE UI MAGER (one of the fonts) is not installed.
When you go on this link, you can download the missing font !

download this, open it and go on install !
Then you open your Itunes and your Text is there again. Maybe its a little bit to big but, its there !!!

restore your app from the trash and then properly uninstall.
if that fails, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Is your Epson printer on Apple's list of AirPrint capable printers? See <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356>.
If it is an AirPrint printer, then your WiFi router may not correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint. Contact the router's manufacturer to see if there is a change to its setup or a firmware update, that will make it work.
One other possibility is that there could be a print job stuck in the iPad's print queue. Double click the iPad's Home button and a row of recent Apps will appear along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and see if the Print Center is there.

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, I lose a note in my notes application. This sometimes happens when I have just opened it, or when next time I open my ipad, it just isn't there anymore. Can it only be retrieved before iCloud backs up automatically?

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, I lose a note in my notes application. This happens when I either have just opened a notes page or when next time I open my ipad, a note just isn't there anymore. It does seem to occur randomly i.e. independent of note size or age. Very annoying. I guess it can only be retrieved from iCloud before the next automatic back-up? Does anyone know why this happens and what can be done about it to prevent it in future? Is there a limit to how many note pages this app can store (presently I have about 70). I have started to email every note I make on my iPad to myself to be on the safe side. Is the Notes App really so unreliable? Anyone else with the same problem?

Oddly enough, the size/format of some names can make odd things happen with network Time Machine backups, and at least one of yours may be involved. See #C9 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
Do your self a favor, though. Even if you get this working, do not depend on these backups 100%. There's a reason Apple doesn't support it -- it's not reliable.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

My apple tv is not streaming from my itunes since my last update but streams movie previews so i know it is communicating to the internet any advice. P.S. i have already unplugged everythign and reset everything already so i need better advice.

I have had this unit for a year and have not had any problems till now. The last update changed the look and then it wont stream it is very frustrating. any advice will be appreciated. I have already unplugged everything and reset everything and still nothing.

Just look through the list of posts - you will see many people asking the same question. My father and i (different households) have the same issue. Apple techs want to blame it on interference or firewalls, BUT everything was working before the update so that is just a blow off answer. Apple needs to fix this.

Hopefully I will be able to get hold of 16Gb 3G iphone at the end of the week as I was working all last week and weekend.
I eventually upgraded to 2.0 firmware and really like it on on my 2 iphones so upgrading the handset would be the next step.
Does anyone who has had a 2G iphone and upgraded to 3G model have any advice on this.

From iMovie's menu, click on Edit > Select > Photos. All photos in the timeline will now be highlighted with a yellow border. Double-click on one of the photos to open the Inspector. In the Inspector change the duration to your desired time of 5 seconds. Now all the photos will have a duration of 5 seconds.
