My laptop speaker Icon will not unmute upon clicking it and unmuting the usual way. It says audio device is disabled. How to I fix it.

If you did not buy one that specifically states it does voice directions-there is nothing you can do.
Check the app settings, check the app website.

The latest anorexic iMacs just announced do not even include a CD drive! Proof positive that Apple virtually prohibit the use of DVDs - although the newly announced Mac Minis do include a Superdrive.
Yet, they still include iMovie! Heaven alone knows or understands what you are supposed to do with your newly edited masterpiece - except make a low quality version for YouTube?

Make sure Siri isn't disabled in Settings > General > Restrictions.
If that isn't it, did you try to restore as a new device?

I am new to iTunes. I have downloaded the player onto my PC. I bought a documentary, but it will not play. On the player the screen is just black (also no sound), but the timer works and shows that something is happening. Any suggestions?

I have a couple of articles that can help you troubleshoot this issue. First, if you are downloading HD content, you will need to know the system requirements for HD playback, which can be found here:

I bought a brand new iPhone 4 as soon as it came out which was 2010 I think. No problems until two weeks ago. I fractured the screen on it so I am slowly losiong some functions like charge, touch screen ability and need to activate my new iPhone but I am having trouble with iTunes showing my full song library. I have 554 plus songs but some that will not update or download,. Two weeks ago is when this all began. I used to have a different apple ID but changed it after a few months for security reasons. Now when I try to observe my itunes library it only shows the most recent songs I have purchased,35. Not all, and there are still songs that it states it can not download because my computer is not authorized, I authorize it and it says it is already authorized. Then it gives me the old apple ID from years ago and I change it back to my new one, but this only causes it to do it over and over. I called apple and they said all kinds of mean things that my son or husband had been using my ID or account, of which is impossible because all purchases have to be password protected and I get warnings if anyone attempts to access. Also, their ID's are not my old one. Their libraries have none of my music. I do not home share but I thought that iTunes says you can use the music for households if you homeshare so I do not know why the person was so abusive but I am frustrated. So, any ideas? I was instructed to install icloud and did and it seems to me to be the culprit so I bought the stupid iCloud sharing manage,$25 yearly so that it automatically downloads your full library but no luck, still only shows the purchases I recently made with my gift card. This was suggested by the apple care expert. Can not update my phone until backed up, can not change phones until updated and backed up.

I know it sounds weird, and that is the reason I posted my question. Because my case is not like all the ones I've found online and it's confusing. I added a screen capture of my itunes with my old iphone (the one that houses my playlists) connected to it.
My playlists "ARE" in my iphone 4s. They are still there even though they do not show up when I plug in to itunes in my computer.
When connecting my phone to itunes on my macbook, the playlists do not appear anywhere in itunes. I have found my connected iphone icon, I have clicked on the arrow next to it and it does pull up the standard lists that come with the iphone/itunes: Music, Movies, TV shows, books. That's it! below that is "Genius" and below "Geniuns" is "PLAYLISTS" but the only playlist of mine that shows there is one that I created several years back titled "90's music" and that one I created it on my computer, not my phone. Under "90's music" there are also other standard playlists that itunes automatically adds.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to get around this. I am starting to think that I am going to have to recreate these lists on my computer

Hi there I have an ipod classic which will not charge and keeps saying "Please Wait Very Low Battery" can anbody help me its just sad to see it go.

Normally it takes 2 to 4 hours to fully charge an iPod Battery, using a USB2.0 port or wall charger.
Even if the battery is dead, you can have it replaced at Apple Store for about US$60 or at any 3rd Party Ipod Service Center for less.

Windows 7, 64 bit, dowloaded the itunes 10 upgrade. Everything looked fine, seemed to install perfectly. But it will not run. The program opens, and within 2-3 seconds an error message pops up, "iTunes has stopped working." tried reinstall. No luck.

Read other posts and answers about codecs. But When I followed the Apple Support procedures for reinstall I first uninstalled all Apple software from the PC including QuickTime, and have not reinstalled QuickTime.
Any help will be much appreciated!

The issue eventually resolved itself, I still don't really know why. I kept up with Windows update, and attempted downloading iTunes again from the Apple website, and it just... worked. It now works fine. I don't know why it took approximately 4 months to work, though.
I'm sorry I don't have any more helpful information. Posting here was my last resort, and clearly Apple never bothered to reply.

Oh my goodness this has been happening to me since 20th November. I have tried EVERYTHING. Its also effected my imessages as I had 9 come through this sunday....from before Christmas. Why does my .exe file run on the PC I created it on, which has LV installed, but it will not run on a PC which does not have LV installed?

I am trying to run a stand alone application on a PC which does not have Lab View installed. I created the executable file and the installer. However, when I run the .exe the VISA functions contained in the VI return error messages and the power supply I am trying to control does not respond. The stand alone application will run on a PC that has Lab View installed.
My application initially used a VISA resource control to selct the instrument GPIB address on the PC I used to create the application. Since the PC I am trying to run the .exe on has an older version of NI-MAX I cannot create aliases that the VISA control can interpret.I have tried to upgrade NI-MAX hoping that would solve my problem:
Here is what I tried:
uninstall NI-488 and NI-MAX ( if you want to uninstall MAX you must uninstall NI-488 ) reinstall NI-488 and NI-MAX Ver 3.1 then try to install NI-MAX version 4.1 which I downloaded from NI website. When I do this I get an error message when I try to run MAX. None of this worked so I hard coded the instrument address as a constant and again that works on the PC with LV installed but does not on the PC without LV.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you do have the LabVIEW runtime engine installed. It might be that the VISA drivers you have are not compatible versions. In NIMAX, look under software to see what versions of VISA software you have installed on both systems.
It does not matter what version of NI MAX you have installed, since your application does not use NI MAX. NI MAX only helps you look at (or simulate) the hardware and software you have on your system.
One thing you could do is include drivers and the runtime engine while creating your installer. That way, you should be able to do a complete install on a clean system.

Somehow the font on my outgoing email has become X-large, I have gone into the font area to change it but it will not get off that one size, it is really annoyi

I am not sure how this font changed in the first place but I have tried going into tools and tahen into font. It shows the different sizes and this is on x-large, I try to change it but it still stays on x-large. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Is the large type appearing as you compose, or in your recipient's email client, or both?

The fact that there are two separate settings means that you don't necessarily see it as it is sent nor as it will appear to your correspondents.
