The Stone Plus Power Edition...or someth

the stone plus is awesome. love it. but there are two things i would REALLY like to see on the next version or upgrade on it.
this version would be geared for the acti've persons, weight trainers, runners, etc.
the first i can li've without, but would still be nice. the option to use stereo bluetooth for bluetooth headphones. Creative can even make them themselves. i cant tell you how much that dumb cord gets in the way. but only the option. if i want to use my regular head phones, i still can.
And the second that i would really like to see. The "Power Song" button. like the short cut button, but it automatically plays your 'power song' when you press it. so you are almost at the end of the race, or getting ready to bench the most you've ever done, you just hit that button and there you go, instant pump. and after the song is over, it goes back to playing what ever playlist or music was played before. so the shortcut button can work, this just plays that one power song you set and then falls right back into your music. i know i've been left sitting around looking for that one song to get me going, or stuck listening to a crap dull song at the end of a run.
these two things i think would be outstanding.

BIOS Update for the MSI GTX670 Power Edition Card

There is a Bios update for the MSI GTX670 PE video card but it's for a hybrid card. What is meant by a hybrid card and how do I know if this applies to my video card? Any help would be appreciated in advance. Thank you. I do know that I can't for some reason or another install the Msi Update program for this card. I was at the Download Page and I found that there is a Zen Stone Plus 4gb isn't there. I was wondering if this is a error or a 4gb Zen Stone Plus is planned. It will definitely be something I might consider.

If you have windows XP or Vista go to Windows explorer. The stone plus should show up as removable dri've. Right click on it and click properties, it will show how much space there is left.
If there's still space left, you can always use Windows Media Player (WMP)?to rip your CDs into mp3s and put them on your player afterwards.
In WMP go to tools - options - rip music and change your settings to mp3. I think by default it will save your music in the My Documents/My music folder. So that's where you can find it back when it's done.
If you can't find the tools- options menu just click on rip in WMP and hope for the best. If all the setting are still on default it should work.
After it's done you can either drag and drop in windows explorer or if the creative software isn't giving you any further troubles you can use that to put the music on your player. Make sure to close WMP after?you've done ripping?or it will interfere with the creative software.

Zen stone plus 2 gb not work

guys , i purchased this stone plus in july , recently it was charging and as a suuden when i tried to on it , it didnt do that instead of that aftr when i pluged it to charge it didnt do that and also is not powering on
what the problem guys ???

Hopefully you don't have 2GB worth of files loaded but I'd try a reset which is destructi've of the contents. The reset button is on the side of the Zen stone plus.Message Edited by Spete on 2-02-200705:52 PM

Zen Stone Plus wont play some mu

My player is only playing about a third of the songs that is on the player
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've just started to find out how we can use folders as playlists on the Zen Stone Plus. So I started to create a couple of folders in the root directory of the Stone Plus. However it seems like I cant create more than 4 folders, so that's kinda like saying I can only have 4 playlists. Am I doing something wrong or is there really such a limitation for this mp3 player?

Screen flashing/black screen for 1-2 seconds - 7850 power edition 2gb/OC

I recently bought the MSI R7850 Power Edition 2GD5/OC. I have installed amd catalyst 12.10. I have no issues while playing games...the only game i have played since i bought the card is prototype 2 (all settings set to high). The problem is while browsing or when not playing my screen flashes (just once - screen becomes black) for about 1-2 seconds. This does not happen regularly, but quite a few times.. i have uninstalled and re-installed the same catalyst version twice (downloaded from different sources - one from msi and the other from amd). The problem still persists.

I've experienced the same issue exactly as described, with the R7850 Twin Frozr OC Edition. However, I've also experienced a crash or 2 in which the screen goes black and the monitor goes to sleep. The computer doesn't wake up and I'm forced to do a hard reset. One such event was severe enough that I was unable to restore Windows 8 and had to do a full reinstall...!)
Everything is clocked at factory default, passes Memtest 86+, Prime95 overnight run, even FurMark successfully...

Zen Stone Plus 4GB - Problems with Sp

Hi, I have a new Zen Stone Plus Player.
According to the Creative Audio CD Ripper, I have . GB of free space left, and yet it tells me there is no space when I try to rip a CD.
Let me stress, that I have not put my music files etc. in the root directory, they are all in a sub directory called Music.
Within that subfolder, there are 27 further sub-folders, containing 57 mp3 files between them. Thus, the FAQ is of no help to me.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Creative Stone Plus 2GB Music will not show

Hi,
I have filled the stone plus with music, about 29 albums in total, to use up the whole 2gb. When I disconnect and use the player then only about 9 of those albums show up under browse music. I reformatted, used the recovery tool and tried to update firmware, but the update program keeps saying the player isn't connected.
It seems to be recognising more of the music now than before I formatted; before it would only show around 0 albums, I've no idea why it won't show them all (they are all mp3s, 92kbps) as when I connect to the computer all the music is on the dri've. So annoying that I have to put on as many albums as I can and then hope that some of them will actually play.
It doesn't matter whether I use Creative Media Lite or just drag and drop..

MSI GTX660TI Power Edition problems

Hi all,
I have a problem with Battlefield since I have installed my new GPU the MSI GTX660TI Power Edition.
I have a Acer Aspire i7, with 6GB memory and a Corsair GS 800W, Windows 7 Home Premium
Since I have installed my new GPU my game freezes and my systems tells me that there had been a problem with the Nvidia Windows Kernel mode and that it has been restored.
It happens with both BF3 and BF4....while typing this topic message the same thing happens.....
It also says Directx error....but I have the latest drivers....
Could it be the Bios, mainboard or is my GPU not working as it should?

'Tis a common problem on old Macs.
Do as Allan says: open the door and blow out all the dust bunnies. Canned air from Wal-Mart or Radio Shack can be handy (though sort of expensive) especially for blowing through the back of the power supply. A cool Mac is a happy Mac.
Be sure your Mac can breathe. The air intake is on the bottom of the case, so be sure a deep pile rug or too many papers on your desk are not blocking the air supply.
Feel the power supply and the processor with your hand. They should be warm but not hot; if you have to move your hand away, that's too hot!
Check the fan on the power supply, and on the processor if it has one. Take a flashlight and peer in the back of the (Mac) case through the grille; make sure the fan is turning. If it's not, the power supply won't work for long.
Fans are not considered serviceable, though they will succumb to mechanics of determination. A CPU fan is easy and straightforward.
A fan replacement will not cure an already damaged power supply; the PS may already be done for. Used power supplies for a DA are hard to come by, and not especially cheap when found (c.$50). An entire working DA or Quicksilver may often be found for under $100 on eBay, and swapping in your HD is easy and simple... this might be cheaper and more expeditious than repairing an expired DA. Replacing a power supply is fairly easy, but it's a nuisance and requires a 2mm Allen head wrench in addition to the usual #2 Phillips head screwdriver.
In my experience, power supplies and CPUs are about equally likely to fail. There are a few other possibilities, but they are not nearly so common.

Zen Stone Plus: Does it start playing again where i stopped the so

I want to know if the Zen stone Plus MP3 player starts in the same song after it has been turned off.
So if I turn it off 3.4min in a song, does it then start at 3.4 when i turn it on again, or does it start from the beginning of the song
The reason i ask is because i often use the mp3-player to hear "sound-books", and the files are often very long, so its very annoying when my current mp3 player starts from the beginning of the file after i have heard maybe 30 min

I believe the pattern with the Stones has been that if you plug them in for charging, even if you don't update the mp3s, playlists, etc., they essentially get "reset" when they resume.
They pick up where you left off as long as you *don't* plug them in for charging, changing what's loaded, etc.
I don't recall it being possible to do something like set a bookmark.
Basically, you should have several hours of play / resume time like you desire, but if you have to charge the player at some point, you'll have to go back to the beginning of the file. Not sure if they can alter this in future firmware or not.

What should I do? The shop where I bought it is about 600 km away from my home...

Try it on another PC if you can to be sure the player is having a problem, if it does the same there then I would advise contacting Customer Support so they can assist you.

Only one variant of the PowerMac G4 could use the faster Airport Extreme Card. The rest used the original Airport card that is pretty slow.

However, all PowerMac G4 towers had only slower USB 1.1 ports, so any USB wireless adaptor can only run at about wireless 'B" speeds (slow) unless you also install a PCI USB 2.0 adaptor card. I was told by the Professor that I needed to have the SQL*Plus Worksheet. I would like to know which version of Oracle do I need to install, and If it includes the SQL*Plus Worksheet.

No, it is not included.
However, the same functionality, and more, is in Oracle SQL Developer - also available free and download-able from the same area as Oracle Express Edition.
Ask your prof why he want Worksheet. If it's only for the ability to scroll and correct previous SQL (eg: easier time correcting mistakes), and loading scripts, ask if SQL Developer would be allowed. It's much superior and allows you to use XE, which will not sink your laptop like the EE version will.
