  • Where is the structure option under the insert tab in Dreamweaver?

    I was watching the tutorial of Mike Powers for the Bayside Website and he continually uses the structure option under the insert tab. I can not find where this is at in all of Dreamweaver. Does anyone know where this is at?

    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/learn/start/dreamweaver.html
    It is the second video down. At about 1:03 he will talk about selecting the structure option and I really want to because it looks extremely helpful!

  • Cannot find "Structure" menu under the Insert tab.  Need it to insert a header

    I just downloaded a trial version of DW CS6 and am following the on-line tutorial, but cannot find the "Structure" option under the "Insert" tab when creating an HTML document.  Where di it go?

    I think the confusion here is you appear to be following along some resource for DWCC while using DWCS6.
    There are many changes between DWCS6 and DWCC. Actually, there are quite a few changes between DWCS6 Disk version and DWCS6 Cloud version with even more between both of those and DWCC (and now DWCC 2014).
    With the speed that Adobe applications are changing with the Creative Cloud delivery system, you really must make sure you are using the correct resource version for your program version.

  • Why is the Insert Panel Missing from Dw CS6 Build 12 v 5861?

    Why is the Insert Panel Missing from Dw CS6 Build 12 v 5861?

    If Nancy's advice doesn't make it pop up as a window, you may have it set as a tool bar, in which case, hitting Ctrl+F2 will make the tool bar appear/disappear.
    To turn it back into a floating panel, click and drag the dashed line on the far left of the Insert tool bar and pull it away from the top. You can leave it as free floating or drag it to another edge until it highlights the edge and drop it to dock it to whichever side of the screen you prefer.

  • The PDF Structure tab

    after I launch the WorkBench (version 9.5), log in,
    launch the Form Designer for the first time,
    it always shows me the "PDF Structure" tab (along with the "Hierarchy", "Data View" and "Tab Order").
    I can't get rid of it.
    I can close it by clicking the "x", but it always comes back the next time I launch the WorkBench.
    How do I get rid of that tab?

  • Is it possible to lock the structure Tab in Solar02 based on the users

    Hi,
    In Solar02 transaction of solution manager , under configuration node - > structure Tab , it is possible to change the structure . Is it possible to restrict this authorisation based on login users.
    Best Regards,
    Saravana.

    Hi
    You can't restrict users as you required
    because if they have change access they can very well proceed.
    Moreover if you hide it will be hidden for all users from solar_project_admin...project tab

  • Why are options missing from the Insert Menu in DW CS6?

    I'm trying to learn how to use CS6 with a Classroom in a Book. Unfortunately when the book tells me to insert something using the Insert Menu I often cannot find the options. This is true for Image Placeholder, for server-side includes, and also true for insert tabular data. Maybe I am just too stupid to find these options, but using Windows 7 x64 I cannot seem to find them. Maybe somebody can point out these menu items to me?

  • Can't find "structure" on drop-down menu on insert tab (CS6).

    One of your tutorials (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/first_website_pt2.html) says "
    The Structure category contains all the grouping and structural elements necessary to build the framework for a web page. Click the first option, Div (see Figure 7).
    But there is no Structure category, nor is there a header element anywhere to be found.  (Is "head" the same as "header"?  How is a new user to know?)
    On forums I was told to update DW and I did., but the About still says 12.0 Build 5861.  But your Help>Update  tells me I have the latest version, even if it's the same one I had before which was old.  I'm not sure how to proceed on this one.

    The article refers to the 'Structure' tab of the Insert Menu in DW CC and is related to HTML5 elements.
    In DW CS6 version 12.2 Build 6006, you will find the elements in the 'Layout' tab

    Hi,
    from what I understand from your post, the thing that's missing is the retrieval of the data from the tables and its types. This could be done very similar to your already done tablespecs, just perform a select, use a cursor again and in there, make sure that character (etc.) fields get surrounded by '' and integers not.

  • Do the execution time of the insert command depend upon the no the indexes

    hi,
    Do the execution time of the insert,update and delete command depend upon the no the indexes created for a table......
    Edited by: [email protected] on Mar 4, 2009 3:02 AM

    sure,..
    An index is a structure which contains entries pointing to the actual data in the table.
    When you insert a record into a table, the data which should also be indexed is inserted in the index structure. This index data needs to be in a specific place, not just anywhere (as opposed to e.g. a heap table).
    So this might lead to an update and insert in the index structure.
    This is just to give you an idea. More on the subject in Tom Kyte's Expert Oracle Database Architecture and of course Oracle's documentation.

  • Problems with the "INSERT" button.

    Hi,
    I have a problem in my homework. I am required to do the following:
    'original numbers' array contains zeros. Let LabVIEW fill an array "original numbers" by random integers from 10 to 90 at a rate 1 number/0.5 seconds by replacing each zero at a time from top to bottom. (DONE)
    user fills in 10numbers in an array 'numbers to be probably inserted'. Then the user decides if he needs to change a generated number that he doesn't like by changing the 'Insert' array.
    Then he presses the INSERT button and a resulting array would appear containing the elements the user changed......
    This video might clarify:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDXo2ABqNM4
    The problem I am facing is the INSERT button. In the video, the moment it is switched the program will continue to the last part.
    I am attaching the vi. I think there are no logical mistakes in the program except the INSERT case structure.
    Thank You.
    P.S. The version is LabView2010 ; I'm getting error trying to save to previous versions sorry.
    Solved!

    What does it mean to disable auto-indexing?
    I didn't understand why we used the reshape array palette. What are the dimensions of the input and the output? Very nice way how you made a length 10 zero array. (i'll use that when i figure the solution of the dimension problem.)
    Did you use the 100ms wait in order not to affect computer performance or for other reason?
    How where you able to connect the 'changed numbers' array to Not Equal Palette?
    From where did you get the "replace" button? I think my "insert" button does the oppositeof what it should do.
    Your code sitll has major flaws. Your questions are very basic and I recommend to do a few tutorials.
    If you wire an array across a loop boundary, the tunnel can have two modes (plain (solid square) or autoindexing (contains a small set of square brackets)). In your case, you are autoidenxing the 1D array, creating a 2D array (double-line) at the output of the first loop. You are generating 10x too much data! (create an 10x10 indicator on the 2D array to see what you are actually doing!). You can right-click a tunnel to switch between indexing modes. A plain tunnel transports the array data unchanged. An autoindexing output tunnel, creates an array with a higher dimension, in your case a 2D array from a 1D array with one new row per iteration. If you autoiindex a scalar, you get a 1D array with one element per iteration. An autoidexing input tunnel does the reverse. If you wire a 1D array to a FOR loop using autoindexing, you get a scalar per iteration and the FOR loop will stop once the array runs out of elements. Is it equavalent (with some important differences) to wiring without autoidenxing, then using "index array" with the index wired to [i] as you currently do. In your case, you chould get the 1D array from the shift register of the first loop, it has all the information(!), and disable autoidexing at the boundary of the second loop and the outcome would be the same, except you use only 10% of the memory.
    Once you are autoidexing at a loop boundary, a FOR loop iteration count will be determined by the size of the smallest autoindexing array. This would be a problem if you later want to change the code to operate on e.g. 20 elements, because the other two arrays in my code would force the loop to stop after 10 iterations. "Resize array" can be used for padding/trimming arrays and in this case we are forcing them to be the lenght on the main array to ensure that the FOR loop does not stop prematurely. In your case, the replace and switch arrays are empty by default, so the loop would not spin at all unless you would enter some values. "resize array" brings them up to size.
    Yes, you need a small wait either inside the other case or elsewhere in the while loop. Without a wait, the basically empty loop will spin millions of times per second, consuming all CPU in the process while doing nothing. No human can click a button with that kind of time resolution, so a 100ms wait is not noticeable, but will drop the CPU use to negligible levels. Your computer has dozens of processes running at any given time. Imagine how well it would work if all programs would consume all CPU they can possibly get?
    I am comparing two arrays, and the output will be a boolean array. You are only comparing two scalars and you won't get an array. You also don't need the "AND", because if the values are different it has to be true anyway. In your case you would need to carry a boolean array similar to the number array, replacing elements as you go.
    A button is a button is a button. There should be no difference. You can change the label, boolean text, default value, and mechanical action to match your requirements.

    I have done so to initialize the arrays full of zeros yet the way you did it way easier.  How did u initialize them to zeros?(from where did you get the palettes? I have attached a picture clarifing my question.
    These are local variables. You don't need to find them in the palettes. Simply right-click a terminal and "create local variable". Voila!
    (Local variables can be used to read from an indicator or write to a control. However, because they break dataflow, you can generate dangerous race conditions. They also force extra data copies in memory. Don't use them like "variables" in text based code. Except for initialization and user interface interactions, they should be used sparingly and are rarely needed. In principle, my code has a theoretical race condition because the order of operations is not determined between the three independent code sections. For example if the initializion would happen after the second loop executes, you would get an unexpected result. It will never happen in this particular case, but in other scenarios it could be a problem.)

  • On Yahoo Mail, the "insert link" function stopped working

    For the past few months, the "insert link" function doesn't work properly when trying to insert a link into a message. It inserts the link in the wrong place. For example if i paste the following text into a message:
    Regards,
    Jeff
    http://mywebsite.com
    and then if i highlight the URL, copy it, click the "insert link" icon, and paste the URL, it does something crazy like this:
    Regards,http://mywebsite.com Jeff
    or it makes the entire 3 lines of text a clickable link, instead of just the URL.
    It works fine in Internet Explorer.
    Things i've tried in Firefox 26.0:
    - disabled all add-ons (then restared browser)
    - cleared cache
    - cleared all Yahoo cookies
    By the way, in Internet Explorer, pasted URLs automatically appear as links in Yahoo Mail without having to click "insert link". I wish Firefox enabled this, because it's very time consuming to manually create lots of links. Any plans for improving this?

    I'm struggling to understand the difference between tabbing into the message body and clicking in it. I typed ''I'm mystified!'' and then copied the HTML as of that point. Then I selected mystified and added a link, and copied the new HTML (attributes of the initial div tag removed):

  • URGENT !! Capture the insert and select on database

    Hi,
    I need to capture the inserts and selects on the database.
    What are the options available on 9i?
    Thanks in advance!

    I don;t know how many times I've had to say this, but since I've had to say it to my boss, it bears repeating here:
    The SPFILE makes absolutely zero, null, nought difference to whether or not something is changeable dynamically or not. Not one bit, one whit or one iota.
    Parameters are as static or as dynamic as they were when init.oras rules the roost. Check in V$PARAMETER: if the thing says ISSYSMODIFIABLE is TRUE, then the parameter can be altered with an alter system command -and that's true whether you're using an init.ora or an spfile. If it says ISSYSMODIFIABLE=FALSE, then the parameter CANNOT be altered with an alter system command, and that's true whether you're using an init.ora or an spfile.
    Now comes the subtlety: if you add SCOPE=SPFILE to your alter system command then you aren't actually altering the system at all. All you're doing is asking the instance to edit the spfile. So an alter system set db_block_size=67238 scope=spfile will work, because you're not actually asking to alter the current block size at all. You're merely asking the instance to do what you would otherwise have done with notepad or gedit to a traditional init.ora.
    Only if you SCOPE=MEMORY is your alter system command actually trying to change the currently running instance.
    Of course, the trouble starts when you miss off a SCOPE clause, because then you get SCOPE=BOTH, which means MEMORY+SPFILE. But try that on a parameter which is SYSMODIFIABLE=FALSE: it won't work, because the MEMORY bit trips over the fact that the parameter is not system (dynamically) modifiable. Which just goes to prove that the existence of an SPFILE changes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about whether a parameter can be dynamically modified or not.
    So no, the sentence "my database is using spfile and I have option to use alter system command" makes zero sense if, by it, you mean "I'm using an spfile so can I change things dynamically which I wouldn't be allowed to if I was stuck using a boring old init.ora"
    The answer is always and forever, "NO"!
    I blame a certain bouffant-haired so-called expert for first promulgating this myth that all parameters suddenly became dynamic in the presence of an spfile. It was never true when he wrote it. It isn't true now. It never will be true. It just happens to be the case that "alter system..scope=spfile" is Oracle's equivalent of "vi init.ora" as far as spfiles are concerned.

  • How to do update instead of insert / cancel the insert

    Hello,
    we are porting an application, written originally for PostgreSQL, to Oracle. Most of the porting is pretty straightforward - change column types, simple trigger syntax changes etc.
    But we have a table (more precisely several tables) with a set of triggers, holding a tree-like structure. The point is in PostgreSQL we're using a RETURN NULL; behavior in BEFORE triggers, which means 'do nothing' to simplify thing.
    For example imagine tables A and B - and in a trigger on B we could have something like
    INSERT INTO A VALUES (id, ...)
    without a check on a uniqueness of the id value. And in a BEFORE INSERT trigger on A we have something like
    SELECT INTO c id FROM A where id = NEW.id;
    IF FOUND THEN
    UPDATE A SET .... WHERE id = NEW.id;
    -- cancel the insert without an exception
    RETURN NULL;
    END IF;
    which checks for existence of the row, and if it already exists it effectively replaces with UPDATE and cancels the INSERT without an exception.
    Is there something like this in Oracle or do I have to completely rewrite / refactor the whole thing?
    PS: We do have UNIQUE (more precisely PRIMARY KEY) on the columns - I am aware that this is not sufficient to enforce uniqueness in Oracle.

    There are a couple of ways that this could be accomplished in Oracle, although the though of an insert into table b also inserting or updating rows in table a makes me cringe. The easiest way only requires a trigger on table b.
    Something along the lines of:
    SQL> CREATE TABLE a (ID NUMBER PRIMARY KEY, descr VARCHAR2(10));
    Table created.
    SQL> CREATE TABLE b (id NUMBER, descr VARCHAR2(10), descr2 VARCHAR2(20));
    Table created.
    SQL> CREATE TRIGGER b_bi
      2     BEFORE INSERT ON b
      3     FOR EACH ROW
      4  BEGIN
      5     INSERT INTO a VALUES (:new.id, :new.descr);
      6  EXCEPTION
      7     WHEN DUP_VAL_ON_INDEX THEN
      8        UPDATE a SET descr = :new.descr
      9        WHERE id = :new.id;
    10  END;
    11  /
    Trigger created.
    SQL> INSERT INTO a VALUES(1, 'One');
    1 row created.
    SQL> COMMIT;
    Commit complete.
    SQL> INSERT INTO b VALUES(1, 'NewOne', 'New One');
    1 row created.
    SQL> SELECT * FROM a;
            ID DESCR
             1 NewOne
    SQL> INSERT INTO b VALUES(2, 'Two', 'Old Two');
    1 row created.
    SQL> SELECT * FROM a;
            ID DESCR
             1 NewOne
             2 Two
    SQL> COMMIT;
    Commit complete.If you really require the trigger on table a for other reasons, then you could do something like:
    SQL> RENAME a to a_table;
    Table renamed.
    SQL> CREATE VIEW a AS SELECT * FROM a_table;
    View created.
    SQL> CREATE TRIGGER a_ii
      2     INSTEAD OF INSERT ON a
      3     FOR EACH ROW
      4  BEGIN
      5     INSERT INTO a_table VALUES(:new.id, :new.descr);
      6  EXCEPTION
      7     WHEN DUP_VAL_ON_INDEX THEN
      8        UPDATE a_table SET descr = :new.descr
      9        WHERE id = :new.id;
    10  END;
    11  /
    Trigger created.
    SQL> CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER b_bi
      2     BEFORE INSERT ON b
      3     FOR EACH ROW
      4  BEGIN
      5     INSERT INTO a VALUES (:new.id, :new.descr);
      6  END;
      7  /
    Trigger created.
    SQL> INSERT INTO b VALUES(2, 'NewTwo', 'New Two');
    1 row created.
    SQL> SELECT * FROM a;
            ID DESCR
             1 NewOne
             2 NewTwo
    SQL> INSERT INTO b VALUES(3, 'Three','Third');
    1 row created.
    SQL> SELECT * FROM a;
            ID DESCR
             1 NewOne
             2 NewTwo
             3 ThreeNeither should require any changes to your application code. However, once agan, I think it is a really bad idea for triggers to have side efects on other tables.

  • Configure directory automatically for StepType in the Insertion Palette

    Hi,
    I've created my own StepTypes in a ".ini" file. The problem is that those StepTypes are shown in the insertion palette after "Additional result".
    I would like to store them in a directory (ex: "MyProjectOfStepTypes/MyStepType1"). I know to do it manually, but I would like to do it automatically, for each StepType, to "install" the palette on differents computers.
    Do you have an idea ?
    Thanks

    Best regards
    Thomas
    Yeah, at least not without doing something more complicated like run a program which removes the step types' menu item data from testexec.ini. You can use the TestStand API to clear the TypeGroups array with something like the following expression: RunState.Engine.ConfigFile.Data.TypeGroups.SetNumElements(0), RunState.Engine.ConfigFile.IncChangeCount(), RunState.Engine.ConfigFile.SaveFileIfModified(False). Then when you restart teststand it should put everything back in the default locations specified by the type palette files.
    The intent of the existing behavior is that if the end user on a specific machine moves a step type, that should override whatever the type palette says about where it should go. I agree that it would be nice to also be able to override that with a newer version of the step type. Please feel free to post to the idea exchange about this: http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand-Idea-Exchange/idb-p/teststandideas
    I will also record this as a potential issue to look at in a future version of TestStand.
    Hope this helps,
    -Doug
